Laura, the owner, was awesome! I've lived in Torrance all my life, and always drive past this store, and finally, after multiple failed attempts of online shopping random sites for wide, comfortable and fashionable looking shoes, I finally stumbled in here to find 5 different styles of great looking and very comfortable shoes that fit my wide feet and are made with quality in mind. Prices are very competitive compared to the high-end department stores like Nordstrom's, and you get all the benefits of working with a small locally based and woman-owned business. Go support Laura and shop in-person at Evolution Footwear on the corner of Lomita Bl and Hawthorne Bl in Torrance. You won't be disappointed!

My wife and I were so impressed with the selection of women's footware including Oofos as well as Powerstep arch supports for men and women. Laura was extremely knowledgable with her background in prosthetics and orthotics, very patient, and helped us both make some excellent decisions. The parking is excellent, and a very nice experience.

I shopped here a few months ago with my daughter. The owner was extremely knowledgeable and gave me much more helpful information than my podiatrist. I purchased inserts for my daughter and a pair of shoes for myself. The prices are reasonable and comparable to online retailers. I thought I'd write a review because I wear the shoes she recommended daily when I exercise indoors during the quarantine, they are now my designated indoor shoes. The shoes have made a tremendous difference for my feet and I'm not in pain.

Great business run by a lovely lady. Laura is the best and you should go see her for your specialty footwear needs. My mother was having an issue with her achilles tendon and Laura recommended the perfect walking shoe for her that she absolutely loved. The business has an excellent stock of footwear in many styles and you'll definitely leave here feeling happy and with much more comfortable feet. The location is also excellent, with many other great small businesses surrounding it. Ample parking in the lot right out front. Will definitely be back!

This is absolutely the place you should be shopping for stylish and functional footwear, especially if you have discovered the importance (and need) for arch protection and support. All styles and brands have been intentionally selected by the shop owner (forgive me...I forgot your name - ugh!) for the immediate comfort and functionality from a pair of shoes that we have been robbed of by large retail chains.

Found this place after a nearby store did not have my size and so happy I stopped by! The owner was incredibly helpful and was able to try on a different size to find the best fit. Incredibly knowledgeable and welcoming. Also great to support a woman-owned business!

I have been in search of comfortable shoes as my feet ache all the time due to arthritis. Someone had referred me to Evolution Footwear and I was very happy to meet the owner Laura today who suggested a couple of pairs of shoes that would feel better on me. She also watched me walk and gave me a suggestion about my achilles tendon and how it was very tight and that could affect my feet. Interesting, no one else has ever said that to me and I'm going to do the exercise she suggested to help correct this problem. I was so impressed with her and her store and definitely will be going back
