Cristin Rigg has been a member of the Professional Advisory Council at Torrance Memorial for 12+ years. She is a skilled presenter with the ability to clearly teach and explain financial issues. Her specialty with her presentations has been about Social Security and savvy planning strategies. We repeatedly call on Cristin to share this expertise by presenting at our free financial health seminars. She donates her time for these presentations as well as for follow-up meetings with and questions from attendees. Disappointed - EP Wealth Advisors Torrance!Contacted Cristin Harris Rigg on 1/11/23 to schedule a paid consultation. Ms. Rigg explained she would be happy to answer my questions regarding Social Security on Friday, 1/13/23 at 11am, and would phone me on that date and time. I adjusted my work calendar anticipating her call which never happened (waited for 25 minutes). In addition, I sent Ms. Rigg an email follow up letting her know I waited for her call and to my surprise, she never responded. I do expect a higher level of professionalism from a Wealth Management Professional. I've also learned it's best to find these things out early in the selection process.

Greg Wells did a great job explaining why our account went down during the recent bad market with COVID and Ukraine events. I have used EP Wealth as my investment advisor for the last 10 years and I have been very happy with their performance (in good markets and bad). Brian Parker is easy to work with. They are very realistic and honest about expectations for returns. The main reason I use an investment advisor is to maintain discipline to the long term plan rather than making potentially unwise decisions based on emotion.
