“Wow! Just went to Nordstroms and had a little difficult transaction that I thought would be hard for my customer service rep to handle but instead I met the most delightful rep named Hemida. She was able to help me get my needed items and did so with the biggest smile and wonderful attitude! It is a busy time of the year during this Christmas season and it is Saturday too!! What a great experience shopping at Nordstroms where you can still get great service!!!”

Leila customized a beautiful Guadalupe skateboard for my niece with the coolest satin black trucks, the smoothest bearings and white wheels; talk about a nice ride - love the grip tape and mix black and red hardware to match Guadalupe and trucks. She made my niece very happy. 3 days later she still loving her board and goes everywhere with it.”

“I typically don't enjoy shopping and not sure that visiting Nordstrom often is high on my list of things to do, however when it comes to selection and quality products, Nordstrom is my "go-to". Service is mostly decent in my experience. I'm not sure how the salespeople are paid or incentivized, so unsure how that factors in but they genuinely seem like they want to help. In my experience, Nordstrom is unrivaled in the department store category (and their online presence is excellent.) 5 stars”

“I made a return and purchase at this location a few weeks ago. I was worried I wouldn't be able to make the return due to losing the receipt, but was informed that they are able to now find past purchases on your card if the purchase was made within the past 30 days. The cashier that checked me out was nice and helpful. It was a little disorganized as most locations tend to be, but the line moved quickly which is not typical of most Ross locations that I've visited.”
“went to Burlington late night to go shopping and the guy greeting at the door ... I think he was just the security there , was so nice and helpful. He has great customer service and was very nice and polite. haven't went shopping in a long time and he made my shopping experience easy to check out and I will be definitely going back to this locaction just because the staff is friendly and helpful. “I was overdue for a haircut, and my naturally wavy gray hair was looking frizzy and weighing me down.
After my visit to the Optometrist at the store (who is wonderful) I picked up a coupon for a new customer discount for any service over $30.
I didn't dare hope that a salon could take me as a walk-in, but I approached Robin earlier tonight and he was so nice! He immediately took me in and we discussed what my goals were for my hair. After a lovely wash and condition, he proceeded to carefully cut and shape my hair. I could literally feel the bounce come back to my hair and the pieces fell around me.
I love that he swept up the floor before drying my hair; I love a clean environment.
He used gently dried my hair to encourage the curl and it turned out GREAT! I love it!
Of course I picked up some of my favorite hairspray too, which was on sale! Robin invited me back, and I will definitely be seeing him again.”

“I came during the week before school comes out to for multiple come out of work, so it wasn't very crowded. The return line was very short. The man at the customer service was very helpful. I wasn't able to find exactly what I needed but I did find some things there. They did not have a produce area.”
“Very busy but the self-check out moves fast. My partner hates how they check receipts especially when he sends his receipt to his email.
We get everything we need for the house from here. Best deals. Better than Amazon usually. Where we go when we can't go to Costco and need small quantities.”
“This Macy's is better than most. I like the Customer Service area on the first floor. There's a few smart women/men who do returns quickly. I shop a lot online due to my size so it's nice to have the area next to parking for returns. I think as a get older I have less patience to shop in the store. Also the variety of merchandise is good. This Macy's is 3 stories. Women's department is downstairs, then Shoes, Purses and Beauty on the second floor. Lastly, evening, sleep and undergarments on the top floor. The Men's, kitchen and bedding (Home) department is completely separate on the other side of the mall. Parking for that is the first/second floor across Carson. I've never had to wait too long to get checked out unless it's the holidays.”

Downside is EVERYTHING is locked up and you kinda get treated like a potential shoplifter, there has to be a better way to prevent loss without punishing the customer and making the staff double as security guards. But hey it’s Walmart the same company that takes life insurance policies out on its employees and leaves them out to dry if they get hurt on the job.”
“It's a hit or miss with this store. I have come to this store plenty of times and got bad service and had to stand in a return line for way too long. But tonight, had a great experience. The store was not crowded and in the process of being stocked due too it was about 1 hour before store closing. The cashier that helped me was very nice and chatty. She was professional and made my shopping trip delightful.”

“The most excellent service in recent memory was provided by furniture department manager, Andrew, at this Big Lots location. He explained the difference between furniture brands, the pros and cons of mattress selection in particular. His advice helped me to see the value and importance in investing in the long term by getting the better quality, (tho more expensive) brands. This was a lesson that my grandfather taught me decades ago, but that had somehow with all these commercials these days had slipped my mind. Bottom line, talk to Andrew when you need furniture.”
