I received great customer service from this place on 12/31/2023. I forgot my wheel lock and the mechanician is very patient and be able to change my vehicle tires quick after I pickup my wheel lock. I really appreciate his help!

Costco is usually great, but their tire center at the Torrance store is simply awful. Their service design is fundamentally flawed with too few employees for too many customers. The counter employees were courteous, but the wait times were excessive: 40 minutes in line just to check in for a 1pm appt, then another 3 hours for installation with no text sent when finished. The new tire sidewalls and existing alloy wheels were damaged in the process, and the tire pressures they used were not to the car's specification as shown on the door panel. It just can't get much worse.

Juan great guy, however waiting in line 30mins and there was 5 people in line. Need to improve customer waiting time and may need try responding with closed ended answers to serve more customers in a reasonable timeframe.

Got a estimate nice employee helpful. He told me the estimate was only good that day. I did not understand why the estimate was only good for one day, do tire prices fluctuate by the day? He did not explain why the estimate was only good for one day so the encounter left me scratching my head.

Worst tire exp ever. Appt for 3pm, showed at 245pm, they just put my car up at 412pm. Ridiculous speed, poor customer service, and no point in making appointments. Never coming here again and I advise you take your biz elsewhere.

Beware.. Person named Brian Santana who works in tire shop is really rude and don’t want to do any work and gives wrong answers and misleading information. First when I asked his name he told me wrong name and seemed like he was doing something wrong in his work so he was hiding his real name. Beware of him. When I complained about him to the store manage and tire manager , they did apologize and were very helpful in completing the work correctly. I really appreciate the support and service of store manager, tire manager and other staff members who were very respectful and helpful. But again Beware of Brian in tire shop.

I can see why this Costco has such bad ratings, I made an appointment over the phone, when I showed up the guy working said I had to buy the tires beforehand, then basically called me a liar when I told him no one told me that. Bad service for sure

I had one out of the four tires that had the valve stuck and won't open... I came in on a busy Sunday morning at 11:15 AM, and at first this gentleman named Alex seemed busy and said that he was going to have another person come out to help me... There were 2 more parties needing to air up, so he decided to take me on & help. I told him about the valve & tried to take it out.. he suggested that if he tried taking it off, it could break the sensor or worse, the stem (I think was his term), that may just cost the whole tire. I decided to go for it because how else would I know.. so he brought out a wrench & good thing he kept trying gently and finally the valve came off. It did corrode & a lot of metal dust particles floated up with the air pump directed into it. Anyway, he suggested again not to use metal ones--so I asked if they sell it there.. he said they have cheap plastic ones he can give me for free. He didn't have to do that but he chose to, & I really appreciate him going the extra mile to help a sister out! Thank you Costco for hiring kind-hearted & helpful people & thank you personally Alex for helping me with that morning's struggle! You made my day super grateful

No one was there to help me. I found the 12 volt battery by my self and paid for it at the regular checkout cashier.

Be prepared for the following: having to pay for a replacement tire even though it was apparently “under warranty”, wait weeks for the replacement, and then after weeks upon weeks of waiting being unable to contact them because no one picks up the phone.
