Does anyone work here? It’s impossible to get ahold of anyone. Accounting? Straight to voicemail. Human Resources? Straight to voicemail. Receptionist? Straight to voicemail. Have someone’s direct extension? Straight to voicemail. Good work????
I am not contacting as a customer. Current/former employees should not have to message a generic email to get in touch with Human Resources. Ridiculous.

Rude and lacking customer service. No business at this local store, and they just lost another customer. Corporate doesn't answer their phones. They will soon notice even a significant loss in revenue in my area.

This is a very racist company. If you are white do not apply. Alex Cruz warehouse manager is very racist. There are people that do what they want and call off a lot, but because they are Spanish Alex Cruz let's them get away with it. I worked very hard there and am a disabled Vetran in the Iraq war. Never had a write up. Alex Cruz would not give me a chance to get my speed up. I was treated unfairly. I was there for about one month. Not a good company.

** If you want a real picture of how this business treats its employees just check out their Glassdoor page **In spite of their prices being higher than competitors, I was a long-time loyal customer and promoter of this store for all the same reasons others have listed in their reviews. This is no longer the case.Very long story short: this company and several of its high-ranking employees let me down when I needed them the most after my property was damaged by another customer at their store on my last visit. For almost an entire month I practically begged them to help by providing me with roughly 15 seconds of footage of the incident from their cameras, but they hid behind their corporate policy and pointed blame at other departments in trying to explain why they couldn't help. It honestly would have been easier if they just said no from the start as I realize they are not required to help. Instead, they dragged out the situation for weeks and I had to follow up with them several times only to be ultimately let down. This situation was not their fault but it wasn't mine either, and they were the only ones who could help prove it. This has had significant financial consequences for me and it didn't have to be this way. During an already difficult time with the pandemic, this situation has added an incredible amount of stress to my life for seemingly no good reason.This company might technically be "family run" it sure doesn't feel like it after this and seeing their Glassdoor reviews. Now that I know who this place is run by I have no choice but to find another place for my pet needs.

Centinela is the only place where I purchase all my pets needs. They have high quality food and offer great deals. Make sure to sign up to their email listing to receive notifications when they have sales. However, this particular location is by far my favorite. Every time I walk in the employees there are ready to offer help and are not pushy at all. They are always looking for ways to help you save and are very knowledgeable if you have a question. One employee in particular, Raymond, is absolutely awesome. His customer service skills are excellent and deserves recognition. He always greets you with an excellent smile and is eager to help. Employees like him make me want to keep coming back and be a loyal customer. I highly recommend shopping here.

Love this pet store, top of the line products at competitive prices, plus cool stuff you can't find anywhere like raw food for your dogs and fun leashes, collars, treats as more. Owners are really knowledgeable too!

I am new to the area and must say this is by far the best pet store around! Not only do they have some of the best brands to offer; they also have excellent customer service. Raymond always greets us with a big smile! He's always so helpful and genuinely cares about his guests. Raymond always asks about my dog, Benji; and Benji is always excited to see Raymond! Thank you, Raymond and Centinela for being amazing!

Raymond helped me over the phone before I dropped in, not the first time. Honestly, I have had good interactions with all the staff at this quality retailer, but Raymond seems to always be the product info guy. He asked good questions, clearly concerned for the welfare of my dog, and discussed the merits of two similar crates. Also walked away with $15 in store cash after a $180 purchase. In many cases, their prices are cheaper than Amazon. Buy local, go Raymond and Centinela!

The poor rating is for the SanPedro WesternAve store. "Jose" on Sunday July 29 kept shoving his opinion on me - UNSOLICITED BY ME- while I was trying to check out! He is either mentally unwell or on meth. He kept yelling! " Im a nutritionist! I am the owner! Get out of MY STORE! I know what is best for animals!"
It was scary and I ran out as well as other customers. Another customer videotaped the nadness by Jose. Posting on facebook. I had to go to Petco. Which I found very pleasant and SAME PET FOOD WAS 40% cheaper!!!!
