I typically don't enjoy shopping and not sure that visiting Nordstrom often is high on my list of things to do, however when it comes to selection and quality products, Nordstrom is my "go-to". Service is mostly decent in my experience. I'm not sure how the salespeople are paid or incentivized, so unsure how that factors in but they genuinely seem like they want to help. In my experience, Nordstrom is unrivaled in the department store category (and their online presence is excellent.) 5 stars

The customer service here is always at best unimpressive. I generally avoid this Nordstrom at all cost but the few times I have shopped here have been insanely disappointing. No one seems to actually want to help in the shoe department and they don't honor marked prices. I came in to exchange a brand new pair of shoes I purchased online because they were damaged and the manager informed me that if I were to purchase the last 10 of anything in stock it's a 50/50 chance of it being damaged. Yes, you read that correctly, you can pay full price for a new item and run the chance of getting a damaged/used item. Lucky for me they're out of stock until next month and no one cared to even suggest a solution, just a "better luck next time". Absolutely ridiculous.

Wow! Just went to Nordstroms and had a little difficult transaction that I thought would be hard for my customer service rep to handle but instead I met the most delightful rep named Hemida. She was able to help me get my needed items and did so with the biggest smile and wonderful attitude! It is a busy time of the year during this Christmas season and it is Saturday too!! What a great experience shopping at Nordstroms where you can still get great service!!!

This is a review for Alejandra D from the cosmetic department. Thank you for your knowledge, honesty, and friendliness, which resulted in me finding something that I have been searching for for three years. I have spoken with at least five other makeup pros in multiple stores ranging from the super elite ones to widely known places, but none could give me the recommendation you did. And connecting over gold and green fairies is sure a fun bonus. THANK YOU, Alejandra D, for making me feel beautiful again and brightening my initially blah evening. Love, love, love this Nordstrom. Much like everyone else these days, a huge amount of my shopping is done online, however if I do go shopping in person it is always at Del Amo Mall, where this Nordstrom is located. It's fairly sizeable- noteworthy is the huge collection of sunglassess. Overall a five star Nordstrom as it has everything you'd want/ expect, it is is clean, and my staff experiences are always positive. The department I have visisted most frequently over the past year has been the women's intimates- they carry a pretty good amount of Skims brand clothing/ bra's, etc. and I love going in person to be able to try on and find my sizes. Each time has been a pleasent experience and staff members were helpful and nice, unfortunately I forgot to ensure I remembered all of their names in my past visists otherwirse would have mentioned here- Most recently Staff member Celeste in the intimates section was AMAZING. I went searching for a strapless bra and didn't even know where to start. She was so cool to talk to (huge bonus) and the best thing ever, was that she was able to help size me for bra's very quickly, brought all the options directly to me in the dressing room and found my size- no effort on my part. She also informed me about their price matching with brands online! I will definitely come here in person again and again and I hope to see Celeste there :)

Though not quite as spread out as a Sak's fifth avenue would be, Nordstrom still ended up being a less crowded place to shop during Black Friday, than the rest of the very busy DelAmo fashion mall ended up being. As usual, the associates were very nice and helpful. As my wife explained, Nordstrom will price match any item sold at a competitor on the spot, even if the competitor is not located in that mall. Thus, my daughter bought a Free People shirt at a good discount, being able to match what Sak's was offering. It's a good feeling.

My friend and I always visit this Nordstrom. EVERY interaction we have is friendly, helpful, and professional. Today we met Kay in the makeup/perfume/haircare section. She was amazing! We asked her a million questions about different beauty rituals, Clinique products and perfumes. She definitely helped steer us in the right direction and I needed up purchasing multiple items for myself and for Christmas presents- I can't wait to gift my family the products! If you need anything at Nordstrom, make sure to find Kay! She's magic!

When I entered the store I went to the purse section looking for a backpack. I spoke to an older African American lady, who told me I could find the backpack upstairs. When I returned downstairs I went back to the purse section, to look at their selections, since it different from the Nordstrom in Cerritos. As I was in the section, I was looking at purses and I wasn't greeted by any employees. A tall male employee walked right passed me without even a "Hello" or asked if I have been helped. I understand that he could of been helping someone else, but at least greet other customers if they are there. After browsing for a few minutes without being greeted I left and went to the jewelry section. I had a couple of pieces of jewelry and once again I was ignored. I wasn't greeted so I ended up putting the jewelry back and leaving. This happened before during my last visit, but once the employee realized how much jewelry I had she came over and offered me a tray and became very helpful. This Nordstrom needs to train their employees better and teach them on how to greet ALL customers and not ignore by appearance.

Very clean and well organized store. They had a nice restaurant on the 2nd floor that I probably would love to come back to. Besides having the cute dressing rooms and cute new good American jeans I want to get, I really liked the selection of designer items they were carrying here at this location as well. The atmosphere was calm and not too many sales associates running around on the floor. Under garage parking was free as well.

This is regarding their customer service in terms of purchasing.Every time I come here, someone is eager to help me. I know they receive commission on sales, but I've received better help here than other stores that have the same business structure with employees. They help me pick out a bunch of pieces to try on, and when I'm alone, they let me know which dress looks best and don't try to sell me on a piece that obviously looks horrendous on me.

I want to start this off with the fact that A, I don't shop for clothing (let alone nice clothing) and B, I have never been into Nordstrom.I am looking for a jacket/sport coat for a work function to requires dressy attire. We walked through the Mall looking at multiple stores for over an hour. We wind up at the end of the Mall where Nordstrom is and walk in. I am looking a jacket that seems nice and put it on. A young man walks by and lets me know that there is a mirror off to the side. Being I do not really walk around "looking" at ny own appearance, i declined. He then told me the jacket looked nice and sat well on my shoulders. (now I know i have someone to pick the brain of)I started a conversation with him and he was down to earth with me the entire time. Never tried to upsell...asked what the event was and what I was wearing. He helped me pick out a Sport Coat (proud to say, I now own a Sport Coat), and he helped me pick a new belt for the occasion. I made some more small talk with him and the experience overall was great!!!in reality, the only reason I stuck with this was his initial interaction. We spent an hour with no service and minimal help. This young man went above and beyond. I inquired about giving feedback with the company (which I never do) and promised a Yelp review for him. Insanely grateful, he told me he is trying to elevate to another store to be a "Luxury Outfitter"....how can you not support ambition?If you get a chance, please look for Maliek R. for assistance as He will help you with everything you need!**Side Note....the alarms were going off when I walked out, so i double checked with Maliek (i did not want to show up with a sensor on my back). We double checked and couldn't find anything....turns out the sensor was removed and left in the inner pocket. Since Maliek and I had traded numbers (i want to support his journey) I sent him a text giving him a little bit of s****** Great dud to interact with!****double Side Note....got a handful of compliments from coworkers and others met at the function, turns out it is nice dressing up a little every now and then.

Wanna give a shout out Erica O at the Kylie counter. I ran in today to do a quick return. She delivered customer service the Nordstrom way. She was bubbly, smiling and processed the return in a timely fashion. She shared with us about the Kylie brand and gave us some samples. Overall a great experience.
