I have been banking here for years. Everyone that I have ever encountered has been so nice and friendly. I love this credit union and I will definitely recommend if someone needs a new banking home.

I don't typically leave reviews but my recent experience with California Credit Union was an extremely positive and I felt compelled to do so in order to give props where they were due. They have truly turned around my perspective on banking. Having previously encountered negative experiences with other banks, I was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional service and professionalism exhibited by California Credit Union. I want to first express my gratitude to Francisco and Lizbeth, who went above and beyond to ensure my banking needs were met with efficiency and care. Their dedication to customer satisfaction was evident throughout my interactions with them. Lizbeth's expertise and attention to detail provided me with valuable insights, making my banking experience seamless and stress-free. Francisco's friendly and approachable demeanor created a welcoming atmosphere, making me feel valued as a customer. California Credit Union not only excels in its customer service but also stands out in terms of its user-friendly digital banking platform. The ease of managing my accounts online and the availability of useful features have significantly contributed to my overall positive experience. Went in today, all new tellers. Teller 683679 was not very personable. When done with my deposit she just gave me my receipt. No thank you, goodbye greeting nothing. smh ... I'm sorry for the ones that are actually good and having to see this one star.

Terrible customer service. Went to CA Credit Union, Torrance location to open a CD. After answering all their questions, they ran out credit, without informing us, asked if our credit was frozen. We said yes to keep our credit safe. They said we couldn't open a CD until we unfreeze our credit (we weren't asking for a loan). We asked them to delete our application and we come back during the week. The manager said our application would be delete. We went back during the week waited for over 30 minutes without anyone acknowledging us and when someone did speak to us they asked us to make an appointment because someone who made an appointment was coming soon. We called their 800 number before going and was told we could walk in, no appointment needed. We left the Torrance branch and went to another branch and found out the Torrance location did NOT delete our application like they said they would. If we didn't go to another branch our information would have been in their system even if we didn't return. The other branch (Carson) was very professional and set up our CD in less than 30 minutes!

This bank really seems to have made a lot of changes...for the better. I went there in person (new location down the street) and was greeted by the nicest tellers and manager ever. The manager gave me his card and sadly I misplaced it, but I did promise to revisit my Yelp review specifically for him and the very proactive and courteous way he treated me. I also feel a lot of loyalty due to the simple fact that they extended an emergency loan to me during a certain Payroll Debacle Situation that had left me in a total lurch upon my arrival from another state thousands of miles away. I had just been reading the reviews a week or so before and added my two cents worth based on long past experiences. Going in there in person changed my mind. I really felt a different vibe to go along with the new building. At this point in time, I would recommend people give the credit union a chance before you decide.

Love coming to this Location! Brisa Alaniz is always very efficient and a pleasure to talk to. You can also tell that her manager Genevieve really cares about her clients and staff. I always bring my parents to this location because I know Brisa is bilingual. My parents are Spanish speakers so she is able to help them out with anything they need. Thank you California Credit Union of Torrance Keep giving the best customer service ever !

I have been a member of the California Credit Union since 1987. They have always provided me and my family with excellent service. I especially want to recognize Nancy Titiriga, Senior Financial Services Representative, for her knowledge, expertise and positive attitude while assisting me on a variety of financial decisions. From car loans, personal loans and notary services, to recommending the Real Estate division of CCU for my mortgage, Nancy always has provided sound advice. Nancy recommended Allan Shelley from Real Estate to handle my mortgage and he has been a trusted, patient and knowledgeable person who I have recommended to many others.Both Nancy and Allan along with Branch Manager, Andy, and the friendly, helpful tellers are why I continue to bank with CCU and will never go anywhere else!

Came in looking to get a loan to purchase a car for my daughter. Was greeted by Andy. He took the time to explain the specific about getting a loan. He was very informative & thorough. Nice to know a branch manager would take the time to take care of members in this manner.

I previously wrote a negative review regarding my overall experience with the back office of California Credit Union. The review was attached to the Torrance branch because it was the closest branch to my residence.Shortly after posting my review, I was contacted by Tina, a bank representative, who asked me to contact the Regional VP which I did. From there, things moved rather quickly and my problem was resolved within a matter of days.My family and I would like to thank Alex, Andy and their staffs for all of their hard work and followthrough to create a set of happy customers. They went beyond and above to resolve the issue at hand and my brother and I are very grateful. I wish all of our banking experiences were this good.

I've been a Business member at this branch for 8 years, and decided to open a regular checking and savings account. It was the absolute worst experience ever. The person I worked with made me feel like a criminal, so much so, you would think I had not banked with this credit union at all. She essentially questioned me about everything on my credit report as if it were not me. Salary? I need to tell you my salary to open a basic checking account? Sounds illegal to me. After spending 45 minutes there, to no avail, the manager, who was too busy counting money to give an approval for the large checks I tried to deposit, walked over to our desk and still no approval. What was the point of his presence? So, here goes the person calling everyone she could on the face of the earth to get an approval. It was daunting and I left. Is this the same branch I've been doing business with all these years? They really suck and I was no longer excited to patronize CA Credit Union. They will not get any additional business from me as I look forward to closing out my account.

I have an EXCELLENT credit score well above 700, and my Auto loan application was APPROVED, so DO NOT mistake this review for someone unhappy about not being qualified. I submitted all required paperwork and these guys failed to respond. I called back twice, got an apology, and then still no follow-up. You might as well look elsewhere. In today's auto market with limited dealer inventory, nobody can afford to WAIT for California Credit Union. Review applies to ALL branches - my contacts were virtual.

I don't say this often but I love going to CA Credit Union. The customer service is excelent an everyone is so helpful and friendly. I love how I have never had to wait more then 5 Minutes to be helped, and they are so accomidating to me and my account.

I was born in Torrance California I barely remember it but I remember my stepdad bringing me to the ocean a couple of times that was awesome! And also somewhere else in California important people are looking at the copy of the first book that I wrote through the Holy Spirit that Amazon gave a five-star rating before it was released! We'll see what God does with this book and what happens!

I am a member and can only get 2 rolls of quarters at a time. I can get that much at the grocery store. This is a BANK! Ridiculous.
