It's fine. A bit old and messy inside, it's got the general stuff that you need with no frills. Just be sure of what you want before you go there and be ready to shop around.

Nick, The manager has been so amazing at this big 5 location in Torrance! - extremely polite and very courteous - went out of his way to find a solution, and is a problem solver. -Best customer service I have ever experienced, and I have had horrible experiences at other locations, but Nick being the professional leader he is, he made my experience very pleasant. If you need to get anything sports located, come see Nick! You will be taken care of! Once again, thank you, Nick, for changing my idea of how Big 5 treats their customers

Came into the Store to buy ammo, nobody in the Store is certified to sell it. RIDICULOUS if you ask me. This is the Second Big five Sporting good I've been to tonight. Both stores had no one on deck certified to sell the ammno. Kind of had to laugh that one off. Why have ammno and then have workers that can't sell it?

Brought my son a pair of Adidas the male cashier dropped the change in my hand as if I was infected r something. Any the store is huge. The guy in the shoes department was ok but.

Message to the owner: Either install some mirrors like most other Big 5's or stop using the second changing room as a storage closet.
I really wanted to buy some snowboard gear but a family was hogging the only available changing room, so when we asked the employees for help about the situation, rather than attempting to defuse by asking the family to share or take turns, they continued to just sit on the counter and tell us "first come first serve" despite them going in and out multiple times and "have a good day".
