Pros: Staff are usually pleasant & parking isn't much of an issue.UPDATED 10/06/2023: It's a Friday, first week of OCT with 10 customers in the regular line and 3 in business and the line is BARELY MOVING. Only 2 tellers and more people walking in. They have 2 greeters though, just walking around greeting people. Doh!PREVIOUS REVIEW...Cons: I come make deposits for my employer and started going to stand in the business client/merchant line, but noticed you get called last; it's not like you get priority and the merchant teller window is CLOSED each time I go. So I don't know why they have 2 separate lines; it's a joke. So whether a regular or merchant customer, expect to wait because even with few people in line, tellers are sloooowww...

I have been sitting in the lobby for 45 minutes waiting to speak with a manager... completely ignored. Long slow lines. A cashiers check from my wells fargo to my business account with Bank of America will end up with over a 9 day hold. The deposit is a cashiers check from my personal wellsfargo to my business account with my name on it at bank of america. I handed the check to a girl that met me at the front entrance and she took a picture of it with a tablet, all very quick and convenient. She returned 5 minutes later with a receipt saying the money will be available in 9 days. I was shocked that the bank would hold a cashiers check for so long. She then informed me after I told her 9 days does not work that I could not have my check back because the money was already deposited. I never signed anything, never consented to this transaction, and was never informed that their would be a hold on my deposit.

The last two times I went into Bank of America with problems. I was greeted by an employee who helped me immediately. I highly recommend this branch.

Consistent lack of tellers to assist with long customer lines. Multiple visits at any hour of the day and you'll find one teller available to help--and they are unbelievably slow. Extremely disappointing service with complete lack of urgency at this location.

The customer service here is awful! We had an appointment at 3.30pm, the banker we were booked with - Somaiya, first came in front of all the customers and asked us what kind of document needed to be notarized without any privacy, which was completely unacceptable! Then without even reading the document said she is unable to sign it and told us our appointment was over, this was at 3.20pm and I had to argue our appointment was at 3.30pm! Then she realized she was talking to the wrong customer and told us if we wanted to be seen we would have to wait a long time! The bank closes at 4pm so she wanted to push us out of the door without even reading our document, she knew we had a notary appointment, so she made up an excuse to not notarize our document! I have never been treated so badly by a banker with complete lack of any respect and professionalism for their customers! I will never give them my business ever! Please don't go here unless you want to be humiliated and pushed out the door, so they can leave work early

I came here to cash a check for my mother because she is ill. Because she wasn't with me, Hector, the teller said he can't cash it and returned the check. I'm also in her account and we have more than enough to cover that check. Why didn't Hector think outside the box and ask me to deposit the check and just withdrawal the money from the account that the check was being deposited too? It's the same thing. Why do I the customer have to tell him to do that? You'll go more places in life Hector if you think creatively instead of being robotic and doing bare minimum. Plus I was the only customer in the bank so it wasn't like he was busy.

You cannot call banker if he gives me $710 instead of $7,100 since he cannot count digit correctly. If you want foreign currency exchange, please make sure to say loud the amount you will receive otherwise you will get received so much less money like I am stupid.

Sumaiya Andalib is a great staff at Bank of America Torrance branch very efficient, and helpful she makes the process of opening an account so easy and fast.

One of the worst! Such a shame that a big, wealthy bank like this, is just after making money. Their policies are such to get your money however they can. I called in and paid my MC balance which was a significant amount. Few days later they charged my bank the same balance. I was furious. I explained that it has already been paid, why did you charge me again? They gave me lame excuses and couldn't really answer. I asked for an immediate refund. They said it takes a week. It's been more than a week and I haven't seen any money. Such crooks I don't like this bank. Ready to move somewhere else.
