Avoid this location if you can. I have rented here 4x and consistently the service is substandard. They charge your card, then make you wait >20 minutes to give you a car. They leave the door open in the rain. Filthy interior. They attempt to upsell like used car sales. The lot laborer is especially rude and disrespectful. Go somewhere else. Surprising that Avis allows this.

I always get very good service at this Avis / Budget. Sometimes it looks busy but they're so efficient the wait is not bad. The cars are always in great shape and I love the variety. Everyone is nice but a special shout out to the sweet girl with the glasses who has helped me several times exhibiting exceptional customer service.

Incompetent tards. (Management ) I don't know how else to put it. I went there after making a reservation for a car through Uber, what happens when I get there greatly pisses me off, it goes like this:1. Changed the price. Reservation was for $345, but they told me it's 395 cause insurance is not included and I have to get it-- which is not true because I subsequently rented the exact car without this fee from different location.2. They only won't accept my debit card. I had to call and try to fix it to no avail...3. The car that I reserved was not available.In contrast to the other location I went to where I made a reservation showed up, signed couple papers, paid and picked up the car in >15 minutes.Great waste of time.

1. Called for a pickup, someone answered and asked me to hold; waited for 30 minutes before they hung up2. Called back 2 more times, 1st call they hung up immediately, 2nd call someone at a call center answered, told me I had to schedule a pickup on their website but there is no place to do that on their website3. Called the local office got a live body Gary (I think) asked for a pickup, he said they stopped doing pickups due to covid and low staff.4. Onsite, the car wasn't ready at the pickup time 2pm, had to wait for it to be cleaned (shouldn't that be taken care of the morning of?) The person behind the counter was nice enough and there was only 1 person in front of me waiting for their car to be cleaned as well5. Price: $52 for a 1 day rental of a Prius with 62,000 miles on it and a cigarette burn in the driver seatI've read all the horror stories about their accounting practices and bait and switch techniques, so take plenty of pictures.Think of them as a low rent car rental agency that AVIS doesn't want to pay enough to staff up to provide the services they say they provide. The car rental is cheaper than my normal Enterprise bill which is about 60% higher but you have to find a way to get there since they don't pickup even within 4 miles like Enterprise does

Have rented from here several times now. Even though I’ve always had a reservation, the car is never ready when I arrive. Have always had to wait an hour for them to clean a car for me.

If it weren't for Juan, my experience would have been way worse. My car was in the shop, and I first rented a Toyota Corolla. Well, as I drove off, the check tire light was on so I turned around and Juan gave me a nice Toyota Prius. I told him I was going to drive on the freeway and I didjt want a flat tire, especially if it was scheduled to rain. Well, all was good until the afternoon when the check tire light came on. This was past 1pm when Avis closed, so I put air in the tires. No problem. I went about my day. Drove to see a show in LA, and left the venue at midnight. I noticed the car sounded weird so I got worried and drove all the way to my exit. I had to call my sitter because I had a flat tire! Well, after waiting a few hours my nephew came out to help me change my tire. He finished changing my tire in the rain. AAA wasn't coming until 4am! I called Avis at 8am and was able to swap out my car AGAIN, but this time for a Kia K5. Juan was very helpful. The only thing I didn't like was that each time I changed out my car, my card had a hold of $250! I still have a hold pending even though I returned the car 4 days ago! I guess just don't rent Toyotas. Their tires are cheap.

Terrible customer service by Josh with an overcharge that was his own negligence, he said he fixed it but never did or adjusted and i never got the credit. We've been there 5 times to have him fix it and he continues to give excuses having me go get the credit card and never fixing it,. I will be making a huge complaint to Corporate.

Renter beware!!This location has an obvious scam going on for up-selling by telling you they do not have the vehicle size you reserved. Expect to spend about 1-2 hours easily as they perform this odd chaos creating scene leaving you mid-transaction to go help someone else and rotating again at some point. I watched as this activity continued for every single customer in their office waiting to rent their vehicles. Since I. Had to stand around waiting if and wondering where the heck the rep went - the location and office are very small so she could not have gone far I thought — I began speaking to other customers about the ridiculous circus we were all experiencing that morning.Interestingly enough, we were all experiencing the same issue — our reserved size car was not available, but they would “give” us an upgrade for $Xx. Well I rented the size I chose for a reason, I did not want to spend more money unnecessarily.Since by that point I had been there for an hour, the frustrations across the board were enough to get me to agree just to get out of there.I left with a large vehicle I didn’t want and spending more $$. I had family waiting for me who unfortunately had to wait that extra time because all 3 of those AVIS/Budget/Uber Rent employees were all pushing these upgrades to earn their commission.I reported them to Costco because it was such an inconvenience overall that I sensed it was not the service Costco wants their customers to experience. I was correct. Costco was amazing and assisted me with the matter immediately. Extra fees removed and that location is most likely going to lose the contract with Costco.So save yourselves the headache of using this location. It won’t matter if you are a preferred customer or a new customer—it won’t make a difference here.

Took them 25 minutes just to go get my car, once they got it it had to be cleaned. I drive off the lot 45 minutes later and all tires were low on air so had to go back. Took another 15 minutes to fill tires.
