“I have lived in this apartment complex for 18 months and I have never had any problems. The grounds are always kept clean and maintenance usually comes the same week that a request is submitted. The manager Vonny is so great at her job, she is so sweet and caring. She's always smiling and she's always one call away if you need her. Vonny is so welcoming and friendly and she truly makes Emerald West a great place to live. She has helped me so much while living here and you can tell she loves her community. I would definitely recommend anyone to live here.”

“Highly recommend this place!!I've lived here for almost a year now and I don't see myself moving out any time soon. Kenneth is very easy to communicate with over text, which I really like, but there are plenty of ways to get in touch or submit maintenance requests. When I viewed the apartment, I had to apply quick because these apartments get rented up so quick since they are so nice for the price. The application process was online and made me feel really comfortable about giving my security deposit and information. I also got to meet his dog which was awesome! Move in was so easy. It's way more affordable than anywhere in the area, you get an assigned gated parking spot, and there is not a single time of day that you don't find street parking. There's a pool, jacuzzi, gym, laundry, pool tables. Amazon and other deliveries never have an issue getting delivered. There are cute little restaurants, bars, and a brewery in walking distance, and tons more within a 2 mile radius. It's very dog friendly, and I feel safe walking my dog any time of day or night in this neighborhood. My studio is almost like a 1 bedroom without a door, so there is still some privacy. In the time I've been here, Kenneth has made huge improvements, including redoing our parking lot, which is huge! There's an amazing view of the sunset over the Palos Verdes hills from the back of these apartments, and not a far drive to hiking right over those hills right on the ocean.”

“I lived here for nearly four years. It sits in a good, clean, safe neighborhood in Torrance. You are within a 10 minute drive to the beach (we have walked to it too, it isn't terrible, you just have to be down for the exercise) great local restaurants like Hey 19 and Ortega 120, Riviera Village, Rolling Hills, etc. Pet friendly complex is a nice perk as we know how hard that is to find. They have upgraded the property, gym is much better now than when I moved in. Living on the first floor I had a large porch where I could have a sitting area, plants, etc. Enjoyed many nights out there. It was good to see Theresa back managing...there basically was no property management in the time she wasn't around. That speaks well for the future of the property. The neighbors were mostly quiet and respectful, especially during what you would consider "quiet hours." A lot of kids running around outside playing, but that's what they do. The only downside was my latest upstairs neighbors let their kids run amok all over my ceiling day and night. Their lack of parenting isn't the property's fault, but I would at least ask the question of who would be living above you before moving in just to be on the safe side. Just my bad luck as I didn't have that problem for a few years. I had some good years here...best of luck to them in the future!”

“This was my first apartment with my husband and we lived here for almost a year. The location is perfect and close to all the stores you could want (Whole Foods, Sprouts, & Costco). You are right down the street from the beach and I was able to take PCH all the way to work and the drive was my favorite. The complex is small, quiet, and has all the amenities you could need (garage parking/tons of street parking, laundry room, pool & jacuzzi, small gym, sauna, and billiard room). The manager on site, Karra, is the best and I couldn't recommend living here more. She is very helpful and always willing to work with you. My husband and I moved out before our lease ended because we bought a house and she helped us get our apartment leased as soon as possible so we wouldn't be stuck paying the apartment and a mortgage. If you are looking for an apartment in the South Bay, check out Casa de Oro!”
