We have always had a good experience here for multiple pets and various issues. The doctors are kind and knowledgeable. We will continue going!

When I followed up with my regular vet, I was informed that the ACCESS ER medical team must have done a bad job of finding my dog's vein to draw blood, evident by shaving 3 of his legs rather than 1 leg. I was deeply saddened to hear this because my dog was already experiencing immense stress from various treatments and being kept in an unknown environment many hours for observation. But to hear that he had to go through this unnecessary medical incompetence from being poked around in 3 different legs was heartbreaking.
Additionally, the receptionist LATOYA ARMSTRONG's customer service was far below average. She did not show any compassion towards dogs and dog owners who must be under a lot of stress. It was clear that she did not want to be bothered and only seemed to care to be on her personal phone while on duty. Her rude and condescending tone was hurtful, inappropriate and unwelcome at a place where the exact opposite is expected. When I expressed this concern to another receptionist, she knew exactly what I meant by LATOYA's demeanor and tone. I really hope the management addresses this issue for future customers.

Had a good experience at ACCESS South Bay. We followed Dr. Tori Diccicio Langley from VCA West to ACCESS. My cat, Ampersand, loves Dr. Tori.

Great Service, just tooooo expensive for the average pet owner. I spent $1500 for my cat's fever.

I was very impressed by both the quality of the customer service and the speed they saw us at, even though we showed up at 10:30pm. Our cat had what looked like a seizure or a stroke and we called them, hoping there wait wasn't multiple hours. They said the current wait was 3-4 hrs but for an emergency they'd try to get him evaluated immediately and take it from there. Dr. Nivison and Sandra at the front desk couldn't have been nicer. We were there for only 90 minutes start to finish, even though they told us they had reached capacity with critically ill patients and were turning away less serious cases (which Sandra said happened only once or twice a year). Plus, the fee was only $195 for the visit, which shocked us, as we had no idea what to expect. True, they didn't do any expensive tests, but you never know when you're at an emergency vet and we've been charged many times more than that elsewhere.
The cat has a condition which will probably come back so we're glad to know there's a reliable emergency vet not far away, with reasonable prices and excellent care.

I had to say goodbye to my frenchie Chopper tonight. I called beforehand and they took us right in without having to wait. Everyone at Access was extremely kind and caring towards both Chopper and myself. Truly appreciated. Thank you for being there for us.

I took my cat there the other day because he wasn't urinating. Walked in as a ER patient n everything went along pretty okay. Check in, initial communication were all fine. However. I felt the ER vet wasn't listening to my concerns n wasn't addressing my questions n just repeated her diagnoses over and over again, and even tho I told her I have had cats for over 20 years, she still went over things like I was a newbie. N she kept saying my cat may need to stay at the hospital for 3 nights for the procedure to unblock his urinary tract that would cost thousands of dollars. I wasn't happy with that. She didn't address or even try to ask if there were any sudden changes in our/his daily routines that might have caused a raised stress level and in turn affected his litter box habit. It just so happens that we had a death in the family n everyone's routine has been turned upside down!! Whatever.
Their front desk receptionists were also less then helpful. After I was kept waiting for hours, it seemed each time I asked they did a little more for my cat. After waiting initially for over 2 5 hours, i asked n got in 30 minutes. Another hour later, they said a doctor has been assigned n she'll talk to me in a bit. Another 30 min. I had to pre-pay for the procedures. Then they told me it'll take 2 hours to get an xray and urine sample. 4 hours later. I called for status n they said the doc will call you. By now i was very frustrated and i asked to talk to the doctor, n the gal said, "be nice"!!!!! I was being pushed back over n over again n I had to ask or call everulu single time for any type of answers!
Then, two days later, I received a survey for this place n the form doesn't submit unless you "agree" with all their questions. I disagreed on a couple questions about the care I received n the survey insists that I did not answer their questions??!! There was no comment box provided for why I disagree.

I was referred to Access by my veterinarian Bay Animal Hospital as my baby girl who was 16 years old, was battling kidney disease. The doctors and staff at access were amazing with all they did for my girl! I can never thank them enough they went above and beyond for us, and I truly appreciate them.!

The care our dog received at Access was excellent. Dr. DICICCIO's care and concern put me at ease. Her frequent phone calls with updates on procedures and results was comforting. I really appreciate the time she spent with us.

From check-in over the phone, to arrival and treatment I am very satisfied with service. My dog got a fish hook stuck in his paw and they were able to sedate him and remove it successfully. The doctor prescribed meds to treat any infection that could develop. Everything was explained thoroughly and costs were broken down so I could understand every charge. I would definitely seek care again from this pet hospital in an emergency.

We all hope we never need emergency care for our pets, but thankfully Access is there for us when we need it. It appears doctors and specialists are always on site or on call.

They are wonderful. I watched them take in one emergency after another between 11pm- 3am on a Wednesday night. They care and are very gentle. Four stars because their prices are very high.

I called to make an appointment and got a voice mail and said they would call back within 48 hours. a week and a half later I called again and got a call the next day and booked an appointment. They only care about money. I was referred by my vet and they told me I would no longer be dealing with my vet but this new vet and that was a blatant lie. They refused to give me results and I still don't know the health of my dog. They are a money making pit and I would never go back there or recommend to them to anyone.
