I went to Cali Camp back in the early ‘90s and it was a pretty unpleasant place with extremely aggressive older children seemingly encouraged by nasty, immature counselors who did NOT like the parents. As a child of that generation of parents, I can imagine why.

I attended CaliCamp as a camper, a junior counselor, and a counselor. The excellent program has just continued to improve. I have very fond memories of CaliCamp and would highly recommend it to any parents looking for a safe, well organized, diverse camp for their children.
Nestled in a wondrous natural world in the heart of rock-lined Topanga Canyon (with bus service included daily), Cali Camp is a welcome kids camp adventure in LA. A place to forget the city and roam streams, meadows and oak trees. Established in 1955, our iconic summer camp welcomes boys and girls, ages 3 to 15, to the Santa Monica Mountains. Cali Camp is a place of ultimate fun with activities such as rock climbing, arts & crafts, archery, horseback riding, go karts, dance, drama, music, martial arts, yoga, nature-skills and so much more! Campers also get to take a daily dip in the olympic sized swimming pool. To top it all off our staff holds hundreds of years of combined experience. Welcome to the best summer camp in Los Angeles!
