An employee (Wolf, that's his name) sneakily up-charges for unnecessary photocopies when you get a Live Scan. He says, "I'll give you 2 copies of the paperwork for you and the employer," as if that's the normal paperwork you get. But then he charges you for the copies. He doesn't ask, "Would you like to buy extra copies of the paperwork?" When I realized I was charged for unnecessary photocopies without my knowledge, I asked about it. He got very aggressive and defensive. He was incapable of acknowledging that he could and should have asked if I wanted copies. He said, "I go by percentages, 99/9% of people we charge the copies for." Uh - that sounds like you regularly don't ask customers if they want extra copies, instead you decide for them. Exactly my point - that's a problem. His ego wouldn't admit or even acknowledge it. I wonder if he sneakily up-charges other services, too. I wonder if all employees do that here. In general this place is very overpriced. Never going back here.

Got my expedited passport renewal handled by this efficient expert team and got my passport in 7 days!!! amazing!! As soon I said "passport renewal" 3 staff members started working in unison and like a coordinated ballet-- got my pic taken, application sorted out, and packaged with both functional and ornamental stickers--I was like "what the.." but the proof is in the pudding! 7days!!..amazed....this is my first review in 20 years...

We love this spot ! John and his crew are the best !They know their business , are always friendly and willing to help ! They do great packaging , no request is ever too much ! Their selection of “goodies” in the store is eclectic and fun! You’ll always find something you can use .We’re so happy to have you in the neighborhood!

I want to give a shout out to Wolf, who took a lot of time & care to help me package up a passport renewal. He knew all of the details needed to ensure that it will get processed on time. Wolf is a very sweet kid and very detail oriented... Every time I've come in there for something, he takes care of me.

This place is a rarity in the world we are living in in 2023. Brick and mortar small businesses like this are seeming to be less and less to exist. It's not that people don't need the services, it's the people working at these places in Los Angeles don't care about their jobs and providing quality service to all of their customers. This place however is the exact opposite. It's a gem in a small community. They care about making the customer feel taken care of. They care about providing a great service. They are not out to crush on profit on each transaction - a lot of the things at a place like this have a controlled cost anyway. They are just here to help you get your letters and packages (the only services I've used - but they do a lot more) to where they need to be properly and on time. Today I came in looking for California post cards for my niece on Long Island for a school project. While they didn't have them, they recommended a place that might. I went and got the post cards and brought them pack to the Mailbox Store to get mailed. This place is so thorough, they put the stamps on the post cards for me and the guy ran them to the post office himself to make sure they got out today (it was already 4PM)!!!!! THAT TYPE OF SERVICE DOES NOT EXIST ON A REGULAR BASIS IN LA. They play good music. And each time I am in there, they have other customers so you know they are doing something right. Cannot recommend this place enough.

I have been coming here for YEARS and Jonathan has always been quite aggressive about pushing his vocal remedies on me but very nice. Today I walked in and had to practically beg him to come over to assist me. When I asked him about a couple of products, he just gave me grunts as answers, and when I finished paying, he handed me the receipt without looking up at me, already turning his body away to walk towards the back. I hadn't been here in about a year, but even if he didn't remember that I was a good customer in the past, he was EXTREMELY rude. I have sent people to him and have brought people in with me to see the "Vocal Dr" so, there is no mistake that I have brought business to him over the years! Before I left, I said "nice doing business with you again", just to see what his response would be. He LITERALLY grunted at me without even looking in my direction! Honestly, I don't know what's going on with him, (I know everyone has bad days). I don't know why it seemed like such an effort for him to sell me one of his products, but I am extremely put off to the point where I don't know if I will ever give him my business again. Part of the reason why I come to see him is because I like to support small local businesses, even if they do charge more, (and he certainly does charge a LOT more), but if he is going to treat his customers like THIS, I'll just get my vocal remedies from Amazon from now on. FYI... there is a USPS, a UPS, and a FedEx very close by, right in the neighborhood. You could easily get your business done at those places instead, without the nasty attitude. Judging by some of the other 1 star reviews, I'm not the only person Jonathan has offended with his insulting, unprofessional behavior!

Okay besides the great mail service, this place is THE place to go for any throat stuff--sickness, soreness, health. It literally is wall to wall with different natural remedies. The best!!!

I don't usually write reviews but I just had to for this business. I have shipped tons and tons of boxes before but NEVER EVER have been asked to pay for taping. Yes, I paid for this place to tape my box. I first thought it's odd but didn't say anything. I ran to my car and grabbed my wallet; so I didn't question it and agreed to pay right away. After coming back from my car, the lady helping me proceeded to say they have minimum for credit card and that I needed to buy something from their store to be able to pay AFTER she had already taped my box which let me with no option but to buy something. She saw me holding my card and waited to finish taping before she says something. Seriously, avoid this place if you could!!!!

was hired as part time and the owner Jonathan and his side kick Wokf were so rude to me very belligerent, tacky and very malicious with their wording. i was there for one day and the second day I walked. Unfair employment practices. I arrived to work 20 minutes early and I was told I was disrupting the other employees and that my training time wouldn't start until 12 so I just needed to be quiet and sit there I was so shocked to be spoken to in that manner by Wolf Who has no knowledge of how to respect an employee. oh my God I just had started my employment with him I was once a customer of theirs for many years and I will never step foot in that store again.

I came in here looking for a gift for my boyfriend and ended up buying him a baseball bobble head. He said it was waste of money so I returned it the next day and the owner was cute and sweet and gave me my $40 back so I will give him a five star for being so nice! As far as mailbox services, I'm sure they're great! They have great greeting cards too!!
