We've been getting our dog groomed at this location for a few years now, and they have a knack for hiring really caring and awesome grooming staff. The people in the grooming dept are always so sweet with my 13 year old pup, and are gentle with her, too. She has longer quicks on her nails and her nails are dark, so always a pain to trim. They always do a great job with the grinder and she's never bleeding (unlike some other places I've been locally) when we pick her up. She doesn't love baths in general, but they make it the least stressful it can be.

Don't waist your money!!! Botch job hair cut and didn't cut her nails at all and when mentioning her nails are still long the manager was rude and argumentative....

Unfriendly staff and time wasting on grooming appointments. Don't come here for grooming appointments. Go to Thousand Oaks instead.

This Petco was terrible. I went there by Uber to buy a gold fish to replace my daughters that died. I was helped by the manager James. I informed him I just needed to buy one of his small gold fish/feeder fish. He responded by asking what size tank was I putting it in. I inform him a 3 gallon and that it's the only fish. He then told me that these fish get to be 14 in long. He than refused to sell me a gold fish which keep in mind the kind I wanted is also called a feeder fish in which you feed to turtles that cost 25 cents if that unless I would buy a 50 gallon tank or larger from him. I then told him are you serious? James then said yes that I'm just going to set this goldfish up to die and he refuses to do that. Worst service ever will never go back there again. What a waste of an Uber just to be turned away.

Absolutely the worst! Would rate zero if I could. Made up excuses not to honor my appointment - probably overbooked. They send you repeated text messages respectfully requiring 24 hour cancellation yet they do not give you the same consideration. Do a crappy job anyway so probably for the best.

Avoid this Petco at all costs! My dog is vomiting and pooping blood because of the food I bought from Petco, who won't allow me to even exchange it or get a credit because it was over 30 days. No one else has this bad of policy or doesn't accommodate customers when their dog gets sick over their food. Don't trust them. Poor customer service, rude!

The customer was horrible. Not all employees are like that but most. This is definitely running down hills. I left and went to Pet Smart spent my money there instead.

If I could give zero stars I would. THIS is complete and utterly disgusting. Emma SHOULD be fired from working the groomers here. How do you return a dog half effing shaved !!!! What the actual F! Who does this !? Not sure how to report this woman for literally butchering my dog. Emma claimed she was too old to be groomed! Then why would you even start shaving then ? Update: Both of my dogs that were groomed here on Sunday by Emma, are now having health issues. My other dog who is not photographed (though his hair cut was completely butchered as well) will not eat or drink water. My dog in the photo posted has not been breathing properly either. What the hell did Emma do to these dogs. Recommendation to stay away from getting your dog groomed here. What a horrible week this has truly been. Still I have not been contacted by petco themselves. Even though I have filed a complaint through their customer service.

I bought a collar here one week ago and the guy said I could exchange it if its the wrong size. I go there ask this young guy to exchange it and he makes me wait after some lady brings a giant basket of things, makes me wait than says sorry our policy changed we cant exchange it without a receipt. What is the big deal really?! They were really rude and I told them Im not shopping there anymore.

Every time I come in the store I have an issue. I made an appointment for my two dogs to get shots and the vet was a no show. I never got a call or was told the vet wasn't coming in that day. I have found the staff to be unfriendly and sometimes actually rude. I will be going to PetSmart from now on.

The grooming here has become a disaster. When Ashley was there we brought the dogs, she took them with a smile, we picked them up and paid and life was easy. Holy cow has it changed. After having to wait 2 weeks to get an appointment (because of course everyone is too lazy to work), I show up with my Golden for my appointment. First thing the girl does is run round the counter with her little comb and start checking the dog for matting. Okay, this is new. Of course she finds some matting, and proceeds to say "My stylist isn't here today." I said "What does that mean" She actually says "I can't give her a bath today - you'll have to come back". This store has become an absolute disaster on all levels. And they need to start hiring professionals and not these kids who are more concerned with their Tik Tok ratings than they are with their customers.

Apparently there's a new manager at the store, David. I wouldn't know because Everytime I go in to ask for THE STORE MANAGER I'm told he's not in. Doesn't matter the day or the time he is NEVER THERE! this guy is a joke of a manager. The employees are great! Kind attentive. They just need a manager that knows that the hell they're doing!!

AVOID Grooming at this location. We dropped off our 2 Scotties and within 30 minutes we received a call that our 2 year old was at the vet because one of the groomers cut her ear. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS!

Ariel is the best groomer ever. I was super nervous getting my husky groomed, as I wasnt sure how she would react. Of course, I could hear my husky screaming (shes so dramatic) but when my doggy came out, she looked gorgeous. All of her shedding was gone, she was trimmed. And ariel took really good care of her!!! I'm just very happy with the service that was provided today, and please give your kudos to her!!! My husky is so happy and clean right now and it's all thanks to petco already booked another appointment and signed up for vital care!!
