Great experience all around. Smooth check in. Not crowded. Dr Smyle is very knowledgeable and personable. I’ll definitely come back.

Very nice people but when I got my note for work it said “unspecified open wound” when I told them exactly what happened. They don’t seem to bright here.

I can see a lot of negative as well as positive reviews, but my own experience was a good one. I am vacationing from out of state & my insurance referred me to Exer as being in network. There was a little misunderstanding about that when I called but quickly cleared up when I went in person. It was Friday night but they weren't busy & were able to see me right away. I had a pretty clear upper respiratory infection so had some Rx meds in short order. One thing to note is the bldg has a weird layout so there's no entrance from the parking lot, you need to access from a walkway that seems like it's the back.

Great experience, in and out with the care I was looking for. Check in and registration was a breeze with the mobile process.

Very professional and accommodating. Facilities were what would be expected. Friendly and kind service. For someone who rarely has gone to doctors in 51yrs, it’s nice to have this type of service in Thousand Oaks. Thank you to all of the staff.

I love the doctors and staff, they are very gracious and professional and I usually see the doctor within 15 minutes of arrival time

Took my girlfriend into this location because she had been wheezing and coughing up mucus. The doctor on duty refused to see us and said we have to go to the emergency room. Ended up going to another excer location that thankfully had no problem taking us in even with only an hour before closing. This location seriously needs to be investigated for medical mal practice my girlfriend just had a cold your gonna tell me you can’t treat that?!? It’s honestly disgusting and this isn’t the first I’ve had to deal with this level of incompetency from this location. I hope something changes but I urge anyone who considers going here to go somewhere else.

After being turned away in Camarillo we drove to Thousand Oaks and I'm so glad we did. We were camping and my son developed an eye bacterial infection. Staff was kind and efficient. Wait time was minimal. Thank you!

What can I say, I was very satisfied with the service from the front office who received me up to the provider who examine me.
Keep up the good work. Thank you.

Doctors and staff are always great!
UPDATE: I had to update my review about a specific staff member who went above and beyond to remedy my condition. Practitioner Mrs Michel Wall dealt with my condition for 2 months until she found a medication that worked. I couldn’t get a sooner appointment with my primary doctor so Mrs Wall, NP stayed diligent on my case each time I went in to Exer Urgent Care. She was personable, caring, and funny. I can’t say enough positive things about this amazing medical professional! If I could give 20 stars to her and this facility I would!!! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

The poor reviews are unfortunately very right for this location. By far the worst experience I have ever had at a medical facility. It seems like the doctors and staff are in training.
I visited this location over a week ago due to symptoms that turned out to be a contagious virus. It took 10 days of calling and being put on hold because they couldn’t give me my diagnostic since DR.Mike was never available to review the lab results: when I finally got a hold of him today (10 days after my lab work was ready) he came on the phone told me the name of the long medical term name of the virus I had and told me to google it: when I asked if he could tell me anything about how it’s acquired or what I should to resolve it, he told me he had to go because he had a call to get too. 10 seconds into speaking with him. I was NOT worthy of his time is what I felt like.
I had to come into the office to demand my lab results so I can now take it to another doctor because I do NOT feel at ease with this diagnostic.
the quality of un professionalism this location had with me was very unsettling. And I pray you guys do better because we as patients are seeking the men and women who took an oath to help us resolve our medical needs.

EXER in branding only. not in actual quality of experience. this place was bought out by EXER and branded to improve perception. but it’s definitely no where close to actual EXER quality. Chronically understaffed. no return calls to messages left. long hold times on phone, and while the person who answers the phones is very nice, she engaged in a conversation about a medical extrapolation of the chart that should not be patient led nor presumptions made by non medical staff. Again the woman was lovely and tried. I suggest this place places more emphasis on training staff and properly staffing up rather than overburdening the existing staff. Until this happens I suggest going to an actual EXER in Newbury Park.
