I never expected to return to this dealership because my first experience wasn't so positive but, they are the only dealer that could get me the Grand Highlander I wanted. Delivery of the vehicle didn't exactly go smoothly... but, the manager did do his best to make things right and I had the pleasure of meeting Nate. Nate taught me everything important I need to know about my new car. He made me excited and he made me feel at ease asking as many questions as I needed. I drove away feeling extremely satisfied with all the features my new Grand Highlander had. Employees like Nate keep customers coming back.

Purchased a new truck from them and it went great. I feel like they took pretty darn good care of me as far as the price. Also, The service department is fantastic. They did a great job on my 2024 Tundra TRD suspension lift. I get a sense they truly care about their customers and they are flexible and timely.

The service guys here do not care about the work they provide. just two days after getting my car serviced here my battery died. I just didn't understand how my car could have battery issues after they told me they serviced everything. So i went to autozone test the battery and ofcourse it was in poor health and the terminal connector was loose!!!! If i come out all this way to get "routine maintenance" you think they'd check the damn battery and give me a heads up that i need a replacement. they didn't even bother to tighten it. For the gas it took to drive out there, the amount of time we waited, to get a shitty service is just BS. after purchasing my vehicle here, i am NOT returning to get my car serviced at this location. what a waste of time

This dealer seems to have good selection but the service is not up to my standards.Ali our sales man was relatively new to the dealer and kept on throwing the reputation of the dealer at me and my friend every time she brought up a quality concern regarding the car we test drove. Very pushy in my opinion, the typical stereotype of the used car sales man.On the plus side were not rushed when looking at the lot even though it was closing time.I will not be returning

I'd like to share my recent positive experience purchasing a vehicle from Thousand Oaks Toyota. For too long I tried the private seller route only to be let down time and time again. Whether it was a scam artist on Marketplace, or a seller blatantly lying about their vehicle, I was at my ropes end. I decided to go the dealer route. My budget was under 10k OTD. Also fully understand I'm in a very fortunate position financially to be able to do this as the reality is a lot of folks can't. So please hear me when I say this: If it's in your budget, and you're in the market for a Toyota, please save yourself the time and stress and check this location out.Onto the sales experience. Can you find most of the same vehicles at different Toyota's. Yes. That's known. But how much is it worth to feel like your family right off the bat? How much is it worth to deal with good, down to earth people? I kept hearing about this "Toyota Family" and now I get it. Right after arriving on the lot I met a man named Ali. Immediately he'll make you feel like he's the older brother, best friend, or most likable cousin you've longed for. There's a genuine warmth to him that is unmistakable. He was, however pulled away on another sale right as we sat down. I was sad to see him go! But that's where Laith enters the picture. He carried the rest of the sale and personally fought to make this happen.Laith's a young guy, pretty close in age to me. He'd just started a 12 hour day. Oh and did I mention he also works at a second job as well? It's damn refreshing to come across a young, hardworking and well spoken (SO to your parents) man. He promised me a killer deal, and with some negotiating, along with the help of the rest of the sales department, we got a it done and I couldn't be more elated about. I kid you not right when the sale was finalized Ali gave me a big hug! He had no skin in the sale, just genuinely happy for me. If you find yourself on this lot, ask for Laith and Ali and they'll welcome you in to the family with open arms. Hopefully someone finds this helpful/useful. Truly my honest experience.

Service review:First trip in I booked a 10k service in November 2022. My car was roughly at 55k miles and needed an oil change. For the most part folks were friendly and I didn't get much from them other than some notes that I might need to get my battery cleaned and new tires. First time here, and when I came to pickup my car they handed me someone else's keys and car. I had to tell them to bring my car out a second time. They bring me someone else's car again. But hey third time was the charm. Fast forward to January I get the new tires at Costco. Fast forward to march I get a brand new battery and battery connecters cleaning service from AAA. Second trip I book an oil change in June 2023. They tried to upsell me a ton of services. $50 for a battery cleaning (marked red - urgent - must do). $400 transmission fluid service. $300 for coolant fluid services (marked red - urgent - must do). $200 for evaporator foam cleaning. Marked my battery health as red. New cabin filter, which I just replaced in the fall myself. That's interesting because I just got a new battery, and the entire battery area was just cleaned. Now I can't trust anything they are saying or know if any of the other services they recommended me are just bald faced cash grabs. Which sucks because I do want an honest mechanic to tell me how to keep my car in good condition, but they've just lied to me. Here's a pic of my perfectly clean, brand new battery. That was all marked as red, urgent, and needing.

I did my due diligence in looking for a Prius. The people who were most responsive, efficient and ready to help me where those at Thousand Oaks Toyota. Kholoua was my point of contact for a Blue Book offer on my car and helped me connect with everyone at the dealership. She was so on top of things. At the dealership, I worked with Laith, Kareem and Mark and they were all fantastic. Laith was kind and easygoing, Kareem was so thorough, kind and on top of things and never put pressure on me to make a decision. He got me a great deal and helped me understand the best options. Mark is my new best friend! We had such a great conversation and he was so on top of things--I am so glad I got to work with him! I got the exact car I wanted and felt like I could trust the process. My deal was handled in less than an hour. Such a great experience.

When you go to Toyota Thousand Oaks blv for repair your car in the reception never go with Mr Scott he is very rude impolite hate this guy if you need help ask for jayson costa he is very nice help the people totally satisfied with jayson and totally dissatisfied with Scott I will try never go back that place because I don't want see Scott

I need to sell my car and I used Kelley Blue Book to get a great quick offer. Thousand Oaks Toyota has two wonderful staff that made the hold process so smooth and fast. A Big THANK YOU to Kholoua and Juan. They contacted me about the KBB offer and set an appointment right away. with in 20 minutes I had a check in my hand. no hassle on the offer price at all. Absolutely horrible. Could've been a fantastic experience but Gary, (Jacob?) and ESPECIALLY MANAGEMENT along with others sensationally fell through. After some negotiations I was offered an out the door price for a used car on their lot. Eventually, I agreed to take them up on their offer but they then proceeded to mark up their original offer an additional $6,000.00+ without explanation. They proceeded to waste my entire Saturday afternoon with their garbage "price negotiations". They also presented me a falsely created KBB value of several thousand dollars. An empty lot of vacant dirt would hold more value than the facilities/employees that are currently there. There is no hope for their redemption and may their god of choice have mercy on their lifeless souls. Their only redeeming factor of the experience was free bottled water.
