I have been getting my Toyota Rav4 serviced here at the Thousand Oaks Toyota service department since I bought it, and I have been very pleased with the service I have received. Raul Avalos is an amazing service advisor and person. I always appreciate his positive attitude and his willingness to help in every way that he can. He has given me wonderful advice on how to care for my car and recommends only what my car needs. Everyone I have interacted with here is lovely and smiling. Thank you Raul and Toyota Thousand Oaks for making my service appointments pleasant and smooth!

I come all the way to Thousand Oaks Toyota just because of Raul Avalos always takes care of our vehicles. He’s the best service advisor and will never recommend anything that is not necessary or will recommend when it should be scheduled.Raul has great skills and as long as he is here we will be returning!! Thank you Raul and Toyota for taking care of us!!!

Just wanted to share my experience with Thousand Oaks Toyota. I have been buying cars here for years and always have had the absolute best experience. I always deal with Hala and she goes above and beyond every single time!!! She is awesome!!! We also love Al the manager, he also goes the extra mile every time! They treat us like family every time we walk through the door. If you are in the market for a new car, I highly recommend you go see Hala and she will take great care of you!!!

We saw a Nissan Rouge 2021 on CARFAX and we emailed the dealership and asked if it was still available and they said yes and to come in today. We messaged them back and said we would be coming in 30 minutes. When we arrived they made us wait for a while and then they apologized and said it’s actually not available anymore because there was something wrong with the person who sold it and their financing wasn’t complete (clearly a lie bc it’s been on the lot for over a month). But then they said they do have a 2021 Nissan Rouge that is $3,000 more, but because it was their mistake that they can reduce the price. So they showed us that one and then discussed financing and didn’t reduce the price at all. We told them the price was way over our budget and said no thank you. Then they made us wait for another 10 minutes and came out and said actually we do have the car you came in for, but we can’t find the keys. We said okay and tried to leave again, but they said they will try to find the keys but in the meantime they will show us other cars they have. We went through some other options that weren’t anything we were interested in. After making us wait longer they came out again and said sorry we actually don’t know where the car is, someone took it off the lot a few days ago and we have to track it down.We came to this dealership because we figured it would be fair and reliable, but the whole thing felt like a scam and a classic bait and switch. I’m honestly really shocked and disappointed by this type of behavior by a Toyota dealership.

Service is a rip off here. Brought our Prius in to repair /remove a nail in a tire. The tire pressure light was on . The service tech told me they would be unable to remove it and tried to sell me 2 tires and a wheel alignment totaling almost $600! I took the car across the street , literally , to Tire Man , where in 14 minutes they patched the tire free of charge! Told me all the tires were in good shape , no alignment necessary. When I called to complain , tech who answered phone was rude and sacarstic. Wrote an email to service manager, who was not available.Typical auto dealership ripoff .Julie D. Westlake Village

Service Department- Raul Avalos, my service advisor was amazing. Professional (met me in the driveway), Knowledgable ( I purchased the new Prius 2024-showed me some tricks I didnt know the car was capable of), and welcoming. Mr Avalos, explained how the process would go, and it went exactly as presented. I was in and out in about an hour. Unheard of in anything "dealer" related services. I even received a video of the walk through the service technician did with my vehicle on the lift explaining and showing all the components he checked. Who does that?.. Amazing.. Raul, also recommended some items I may want to look at buying. Not in a sale pitch way, but brining up concerns other Prius owners have had. Such as a catalytic converter protector, wheel locks, and dash cams.. IN the end I purchased all three..The waiting area is huge, clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The furniture is well spaced for those concerned of germs, and the combination of couches, high tables, chairs, and work stations, makes the waiting not so unpleasant, as waiting for a car can be..Toyota has a Gem in Thousand Oaks Toyota, and Raul Avalos as a service advisor

Disappointed with this dealer to say the Least!Especially the service department. They one are Crooks putting things on your RO that weren’t even done just so they can get paid by Toyota. And 2 They are horrible at returning Phone calls especially there “Management” Team.Their Sales team on the other hand i wouldn’t trust them for a split second especially when a salesman tells me “ i just snake my customers”. Very Very unpleasant feeling.I will definitely be speaking with the HR team and getting in contact with Toyota Corporate.

My recent visit to Thousand Oaks Toyota left me feeling disappointed and disheartened. As someone searching for a CPO vehicle, I entered the dealership with high hopes but unfortunately encountered several issues that overshadowed any positives.Firstly, the customer service experience fell well below expectations. Despite making an appointment, there was a lack of organization upon arrival. Our sales rep was working with 3-4 customers at a time and appeared preoccupied and disengaged, making it challenging to get his attention or receive the assistance my wife and I needed.Moreover, when explicitly asking about a burn mark on the center counsel was from a cigarette, the sales rep repeatedly denied that this vehicle had been smoked in. Approximately 15-20 air fresheners had masked the smell and were removed before driving the car off the lot. Due to the amount of air fresheners in the car, we didn’t notice a cigarette smell until a month later. After we had directly provided the dealership with a subpar review, they reached out to inquire about our experience. Upon calling out the now-found cigarette smell, I was told the GM would reach out. After five calls back to the dealership, to no avail, there was no returned call.Furthermore, the overall atmosphere within the dealership felt rushed. There was evident pressure to purchase without adequate time for consideration or exploration of other available options. This created a pushy environment, detracting significantly from the overall experience.While I understand a dealership’s challenges, especially in a busy setting, a greater emphasis on customer service, accurate information dissemination, and a more relaxed, welcoming atmosphere could vastly improve the customer experience.My visit to Thousand Oaks Toyota was far from satisfactory. I hope this feedback is taken constructively to enhance the dealership's services and improve the experience for future customers.

I had a great experience at Thousand Oaks Toyota,trying to buy 2024 Toyota Prius, after my previous car was totaled.I was lucky to be dealing with sales associate Hala. She was informative and professional, trying to help me to expedite the process of car availability ... I was told that the car would be available in 4 to 6 weeks ( other dealerships quoted 6 to 10)She promised to try to expedite it because I had a rental and insurance would stop paying for it soon. A few days later I got a phone call from Hala, telling me that if I get there within a few hours, she would have a car for me. Within a few hours I was driving home in New beautiful Silver Prius. I'm so grateful that I had an opportunity to encounter such a professional and wonderful sales associate at Thousand Oaks Toyota.

I always buy by cars through the Costco Car Buying program. The specific model & features I wanted were not one TO Toyota would do. However, Nate, the sales person I worked with, didn't give up on me or my request, and was eventually able to meet my needs. That's what I like: someone who worked to bend the rules just enough to make a customer happy; and I am happy.
