Nice club. Good amenities at what seemed a fair price to me. Golf, tennis, pickleball, restaurant, bar, pool… really everything you’d think a country club would offer. Docked a star just because the course has seen better days and the driving range is a weird little 150 yard spot next to the parking lot. All in all. Nice spot, but lots of other options if you’re an avid golfer.

They discriminate against women. Mens fitness has a sauna and really nice fitness facility vs. woman. Woman's has no sauna. For years it had disgusting facilities they just remodeled it a bit but still have the mens way above the woman's! Shame on them!

Great bang for your buck. Not the nicest or longest course, but for a right and short course, it's really fun and challenging! Offers great food and drink, although I only saw the Bev cart once in 54 holes.

It's an enjoyable Country Club to be a member of. Sometimes there are more people in the pub than there are service people to take care of them properly. Staff is very friendly. The biggest downfall is that there are only 3 available places on the driving range and it is intended for irons only. There is a net for metal wood usage but you really can't tell where the ball is going.

Sunset Hills is an absolute gem. Unpretentious, friendly club but a challenging and fun golf layout that will test even strong players. The course isn't the longest, but there are several interesting holes and some quirks that keep it interesting round after round. The new superintendent is making a big difference in the course conditions, even with the ongoing challenge of the drought. I love playing at Sunset Hills and I'm delighted that my wife and I joined in early 2022. The pro shop and restaurant staff are professional, courteous and friendly. The food is very good although some more frequent menu changes would be welcome. Practice facilities are "alright". The sand / bunker practice area needs to be updated and fixed. It's not great. Iron-only driving range is good but could be improved. The putting and chipping greens are nice. For full-swing driver practice, the course should invest in some permanent tracker tech in the "net" range area. All in all, Sunset Hills is a great family club, a fun place to hang out and and a nice test of golf in the Conejo Valley.

The element of the members is of low standard. One such member was Brent Lacho. he defrauded investors of Citigroup Inc and more recently he defrauded his own family in a scam to take a rightful inheritance from his cousins and more so on one welfare recipient living out her senior years in poverty.. This amount was allocated evenly to all cousins. Each to receive one million dollars. This was 2016 . He persuaded an old man not mentally competent to change his trust of approx 5 million dollars. He and his sister Stephanie Garber worked together claiming that this relatives money would go to charity however he immediately upon decadents death purchased two homes.He is not of high integrity. A scam artist . Beware .of Brent Merrit Lacho his wife Peggy Lacho, his 2 son's in law's one known by Lawless and his 2 daughters Michelle and Charlene Lacho. They sought sympathy from an old lonely man named Ralph Levine
