terrible service and even more terrible mobile operator! their internet does not work even on the street near the store! they constantly tell some fairy tales about a tower that they should put up just about, but it’s still not there and there is no and the quality of the Internet is terrible

This is about T-Mobile coverage and data rates in Newbury Park,CA. If you work or live near Rancho Conejo Blvd exit on 101 , DO NOT SIGN UP for T-Mobile service as data rates are 2G ( 0.1MBps) . This has been going on for years and the carrier does not do anything about it. I have been a loyal T-Mobile customer for 20+ years now and their service has certain advantages especially if you travel abroad. As for the dead spots and data rates, you get what you get and they are not going to move a finger for you.

I visited today (12/26) with my sisters and came into the store for assistance on setting up our new phones. Needless to say, we had messed up during the process the day before and came for help to fix it. Korina was incredible when helping us. Super kind, accommodating, patient and helpful! Thank you so much Korina! I recommend visiting this store if you have an issue that cannot be resolved with help from the T Mobile website. terrible service!!! The phone was not accepted for trade-in, saying that there was a defect, but it was not there, when it was sent by mail, everything turned out to be in order. they sold an uncomfortable glass protector on the phone that was not added to my account and in case of replacement it was not free, but I had to buy new glass!

I switched over to T-mobile and went in to activate my phones today. 09/17/22. I was extremely happy with the service that was provided. The young lady that attended me was very welcoming, informative and professional. Made switching over a breeze.

The service and equipment I received at T-Mobile deserves an A++. As a senior, I needed an incredible amount of help in selecting phones and payment plans for my husband and me. I have been so incompetent with cell phones that I dreaded having to shop for a new one. Ivan not only helped me select the best deal for seniors like me, but he also helped transfer my data from my old phone to the new phone. He set up a new phone for my hospitalized husband as well. He did everything possible to accommodate my needs. He was the epitome of competence, service, and kindness. He turned what could have been a stressful encounter into a pleasant confidence-building experience. Thank you T-Mobile for hiring and training such admirable workers and for manufacturing such great cell phones.

Great store with super helpful staff. I stopped in yesterday in the pouring rain hoping to avoid the Christmas crowds and was delighted to be greeted immediately and helped right away by Ian and his coworker. They helped me find exactly what I needed (which 3 trips elsewhere failed to do) and they were very friendly and outgoing. Great customer service!-

The service at the T-Mobile store was very good a 4 star at least. I was switched over to the "senior" plan with the able assistance of Chris. However, if you want poor reception or bad cellular service....T Mobile is your go to provider. If you live in Newbury Park, you will not be able to access the cellular towers. It took 5 telephone calls of 2 hours total to determine that. EVERYONE at T-Mobile, from their cellular engineers to sales folks knows their service in Newbury Park sucks. Their coverage map that says 4G LTE service is available. It is fake (a lie). Data rates outside in front of our residence are less than 0.4Mbs and the network is so unstable the phone is unable to connect to the internet. I'm planning to switch to a more reliable provider in the near future. BEWARE!

I want to give a big thanks to Ian as he was able to get us switched over to T-Mobile. Super cool guy and was very professional. It was a very easy process from start to finish. There was a glitch in the system with the promotion T-Mobile is offering. Came back a couple of days later and Ian took care of it. Make sure to ask for Ian when you come to this location.

*Update - it ended up being a debacle with my phone, this store meant well but the system is broken for Sprint folks, T-Mobile just wants to make everything so difficult that you just switch*\ I'm a Sprint customer who upgraded his phone to the T-Mobile network which was problematic but they have a representative named Roland, who is amazing! I am willing to drive an extra 20 minutes one way so that I can work with Roland directly. Kudos to him and this location.

Worked with Christopher today at the store in Newbury Park, and his service was great! He made everything super easy to understand and knew how to meet the needs we had. He was fast, efficient, and thorough. We've never had such a good experience at a phone store EVER! This was a first!
