I have processed mortgages for five different homes and in my experience, Sherwood Mortgage Group, Rob Scheuing and his team was BY FAR the best experience I have ever had! There are a lot of options out there to finance, going via direct with a bank/lender or brokers that have direct partnerships with specific bank/lenders. Don't make the mistake of going down the wrong path, having to endure an entry level / journeymen point of contact reading from a script, with little-to-no mortgage/finance experience and limited on what options they can provide you based on their company's rules and regulations. Mortgages are not cut and dry and each client has unique circumstances/situations. Sherwood Mortgage will take the time to listen to all of your needs, check all of the boxes and put you in the best finance situation possible! Sherwood Mortgage also has at their arsenal a toolbox of partners (Real Estate Agents, Home Insurance Agents, etc.) that are second to none in business acumen, quality and service. Communication with Rob and his team was stellar from beginning to end, going above and beyond on numerous occasions to facilitate communications with all stakeholders in the home buying process. If you truly want to have the best experience possible you need to utilize Sherwood Mortgage Group and Rob! You will not regret it! Thank you, Rob!!

STOP! Don't go ANYWHERE else, this IS THE guy - Rob Scheuing for all your mortgage needs. This is the 3rd time we've used him, no coincidence, he is the BEST! Knowledgeable, helpful, humorous, kind, crazy efficient, seriously awesome. Rob has been my go to for over 10 years and we just refinance with him again. Rob Scheuing came recommended by our Real Estate Agent and we are so glad we took her up on it. Not only was Rob helpful, clear, and concise, he got us the BEST rate... BY FAR. We had gotten quotes from two other lenders and Rob beat them by so much, we even took a credit on the mortgage rate. And the funny thing is, one of the other lenders was the same company whom which Rob actually secured our great rate with. A true testament that his relationships and knowledge with lenders will get you the best rate. Also, don't buy into the big mortgage lender talking points. Once we notified them we were going with another lender, it was like dealing with a desperate ex! Calls, pleading, and getting managers to call us... and they'd never put their quotes down in emails. Rob gives you all the information and is happy to put it all down in writing. We had an insanely short escrow request of 27 days but the Sherwood Mortgage team managed to get it all done smoothly. 5 stars!

This is seriously a great company with the most honest people I have ever worked with. Rob is excellent at what he does and will find you the best rates for your individual financial income. Great guy! Super nice assistant! Whether you are like me and purchasing your first home or you are a seasoned home buyer, you should consider Sherwood Mortgage. The qualities that sets this mortgage brokerage company part from others are that I know am provided with loan options and I know that the loan options are what is best for me as the customer/home buyer. Rob is trustworthy, knowledgeable, and enjoys helping people. He helped me purchase my first home and now he his helping a family member with his refinance. We are both extremely happy with the results and financial savings.

My husband and I highly recommend Rob Scheuing and his team at Sherwood Mortgage. There is a lot of choices when choosing a broker to work with and you will be very pleased you chose to work with Sherwood Mortgage. Rob is a consummate professional to say the least. He is definitely knowledgeable with regard to all facets of mortgages and real estate as well. I would venture to say that if he can't make it happen, then it can't be done. He used his knowledge of the industry to get us the best rate. From start to finish he went over our finances and options, answered all of our questions, and more! He was always forthright and so easy to work with – he made not one mistake with our loan and is a total advocate for the client even catching our realtor’s mistakes and making sure that all facets of our home purchase was handled properly! The client is always his number one concern. Rob was with us at all times through the entire process and always just a phone call away. Rob and his team are truly devoted to their clients and have their client’s best interest at heart. I have referred several clients over to Sherwood Mortgage and will continue to do so.
