You go in the store and the attendants are unfriendly and often rude. I haven’t seen the attendants wear a mask since the pandemic began, so I wonder if that’s a Shell policy decision not to wear masks or complete disrespect for their customers at that particular station. Had enough after today and will be passing it on to family and friends not to bother going there. Gas is expensive everywhere so at least show a little respect and friendliness to consumers.

Hampshire Shell is akin to the neighborhood hangout that you'd find in small town America. There are gas stations all over the place, so what makes this one different? There are a number of reasons: - Ease of access / exit - the two other gas stations in the area have extremely dangerous entrances and exits. At Shell, you have the option of exiting onto a lightly traveled side road with traffic light safety to get back onto Hampshire road. - Prices are comparable or slightly better than competition in the area. Generally, I've found them to be 10-20 cents a gallon cheaper than the Mobil in town. - Great snack shop. Who doesn't get the munchies before a road trip? Great selection of beef jerky, candy, chips, bottled water, and soda. - Lottery tickets, if you're feeling lucky. - Very friendly employees Best gas station in town.

Although the gas station is fine, I have to say going into the store to purchase anything isn't. I've worked in the area for several years now and truly avoid this am much as humanly possible specifically because of Harry the cashier inside. As a young woman, having a guy you don't know ask where you live while you're trying to purchase water is a little unsettling. Harry will often try to strike up very uncomfortable conversations with me when I clearly just want to get my water and leave. He also argued with me one time when I was trying to purchase a kind bar and insisted that the power one bar was so much better. Honestly, he creeps me out and makes me really uncomfortable to the point that I just drive a little further to the gas station up the street.

The Indian guy at the register tried to start a fight with me for no reason I just came in to pay for gas. The guy must be bipolar or mentally insane and he should not be working in customer service he needs to be fired I will never return there again.

Some believe this is a lucky gas station for scratchers. Hard to get back to the freeway though.

Just left this place, get gas here all the time. Well I won’t anymore. There are two Indian guys cussing loudly with customers inside the store!! Didn’t even care, just kept going on with their story dropping f-bombs and laughing. Thousand Oaks is a family oriented town. This is unacceptable!

Every time I put gas in my car, it makes my car go. The gauge goes up, most of the time to full. The nozzles always fit into the tanks. The locking mechanism on the handles keep the gas running, and stops the flow when it's full. When I'm done, I put the nozzle away, start my car, and go. The gas has done its job, and so, I guess, has the station.
