I highly recommend Hollywood Storage in Newbury Park if you are looking for a storage unit. I worked with Lindsay who was an Amazing help. She was so knowledgeable and so nice. She made the process so easy. The units are so clean and easy to get to. Thank you Lindsay for all your help!

I'm very impressed with Hollywood Storage. The place is huge, clean, and safe as well as reasonably priced. Lindsay was the highlight of my visit. She's professional, thorough, and very clear on all information regarding the facility. Her customer service is beyond excellent, and so is her personality. I feel very comfortable storing my items with this company, and if there were ever an issue, I know I could call on Lindsay.

I needed a storage facility quickly and Lindsay was amazing. I called, showed up there 15 minutes later and she showed me the unit we had discussed when I told her what I needed on the phone. It was perfect and the paperwork was easy and I was in and out with no issues!

Lindsay was awesome! She was very friendly, professional, gave me all the options and took the time to show me those options. Lindsay was easy to deal with and took care of all my needs. Property was very clean and organized!

I am a huge fan of their staff, security, and cleaning protocols during this pandemic. I've been a tenant here for three months, and so far, it has been seamless. Other tenants at this facility seem very kind too (I've run into a few).

I love that this place is so active in the community, but not pleased to rent a unit for a few years to have to throw so much away. Apparently, they had a roof leak and it ruined our furniture, books, etc. Mold everywhere. Took plenty of pictures & showed management. Nothing done. Lesson must be to continually check unit & belongings and take care of things yourself. Very, very disappointing to throw away some valuable items.

Every week I receive a massive flood of invoices for bills that I have already paid. For months Hollywood Storage has been totally unable to solve this problem despite the fact that I pre-pay months ahead. I find the number of complaints about Hollywood Storage astonishing. If only they would have effectively addressed customer complaints, this low rating would have been unnecessary. Unfortunately, the management of Hollywood Storage has not make customer service a priority. Here is just a sample of complaints by me and others... Never sign up with them. They will spam your email forever. I have unsubscribe dabs they still spam emails all the time. They don't take responsbility for their mistakes. Their billing system seems designed to be anti-customer. They seem eager to levy fines, etc. Once they get you in on a low price, my experience is that they just keep jacking the prices up. Customer service I found to be terrible. Renters beware!!!! Do not rent from this storage place you will regret it! When I first had my storage they had a promotion for 1 month free which was great I've had my storage for almost 3 years! I will say that one staff member is nice and she has red hair and that's it! They do not know how to train their staff in basic customer service( "hello thank you for calling" or "thank you so much is there anything else I can do for you.") the men are very rude and very very pompous....the worst of them is a manger by the name of Jeremy who has absolutely no respect for human life and a lot of my friends have told me stories about their bad experience with them. Also one time I had called and a young man was actually arguing with me.. I am definitely going to look into different options on how to close this place down. The storage company lacks honesty and pulls you in with false business information. They hid content they can fall back on deep within the contract you sign. Some of the employees are also verbally abusive in the way they communicate. This company yelled at my wife who is 9 months pregnant and all she was trying to do was get something out of our storage. Definitely a company I will not be working with again in the future. I understand their business model but they they raise the rent at EVERY available opportunity without fail. There are other rental companies in town who have a higher entry rate, but raise their rents less resulting in a better deal. Also, I don't use their postal center or expensive boxes. Little value is added. So if you're a long term renter who doesn't visit often, go elsewhere. I have been shipping packages here on a regular basis since at least june of 2016. But since they got this new person working there I have had problems. the b**** working there has a serious attitude problem!!!!!! very skinny, kinda tall and long brown hair. extremely self-obsessed and when she looks at me must think I'm some kind of land whale that's beneath her or something!!!!!!!!!! i'm kinda short and chubby so maybe that's the problem but its whatever!!! I'll take my business someplace else!!!!! unbelievably disgraceful behavior!!!!!!!! she gives me the evil eye every time I walk in to ship a package to my boyfriend in Michigan. very rude, mean and nasty!!!!!!!!! has a major stank face everytime I walk in!!!!!!!! I'm not going to ship packages here anymore!!!!!!!!!!!!! ugh!!!! I lost my receipt that had a tracking number on it and I went back several times to ask could they please look up the name and address of the person I shipped to so I can find out where my package is and all I got was a bitchy, rude, diva, high and mighty attitude!!!!!!!!!!!! "we don't do that here!" "we can't look up packages!" on and on!!!!!!!!!!!! no customer service at all!!!!! I was so pissed!!!!!!!!m I shipped on feb 28th and he still hasn't received the package!!!!!!!!!!! WOW...it the only word I can say. I am a local business that needed to rent a truck at the last minute.

USPS counter guy was very rude and passive aggressive. I asked for a small piece of scotch tape to secure my certified mail envelope (tape was clearly visible 2 feet behind him), and his response was "sure, buy this", and held up a roll of movers tape. He was also rude to the guy in front of me, so the whole time in there was uncomfortable and unnecessarily confrontational.

I have had a storage unit here since 2012 the its 2000 tueni the prices have deathly gonna but just recently my rent was going to be increase $30 but I was able to call in and speak with Bobby in he was able to bring it down $20 which is very appreciated For show and some recognition for being a long time customer in resident at this facility Bobby was amazing I called and spoke with him and he went and spoke to the property manager in it and they were able to do that for me so I appreciate that very much and one Bobby to get some recognition thank you

I've been very impressed by the high-end product provided, and the professionalism of the employees since I signed up a few months ago. They are a bit more expensive than other facilities, but the units are very well maintained, the security is strong, and most importantly, they do a great job of customer service.

Gary was an amazing help and I hope he is compensated for his time and help assisting customers with Penske. I was having a miserable experience as Penske had to change the truck type I reserved and delayed my move by a few hours setting everything back. While it felt like Penske was no help, Gary helped in any way he could to try and improve my experience (even though I was using a truck that wasnt theirs and moving away/never used them for storage). Thanks for all your help Gary!
