Mr Dong was the best nail artist I have had in a long time! He is very polite and respectful. I highly recommend going to this place for Dong!

I have been to this salon twice. The salon I had been going to closed, and I was trying to find a place in Newbury Park that did a good job. My first stop was a disaster and cost me $100. Second place tried to undo the first disaster but the manicurist just didn't listen to me. My third stop was Natural Nails. Couldn't be happier. It's a mom and son, they're open 7 days a week, and my nails look just the way I wanted them to. Pretty reasonable prices too. Please give them a try!

I had been here 1 time before and loved how my nails came out even though at some moments they were to rough and it was uncomfortable. Thought I'd try them again and it was a huge mistake. I wanted to have my nails removed and a full set done because of the current length I didn't care for them being that short. I was told by the man the process to remove the nails would take to long and it's quicker to do a fill and the short length looks perfectly fine (not a single other customer In salon). He ended up sighing and saying ok and started clipping my nails even shorter to begin the process. Now I get my nails done often so in my mind I believed he was prepping to soak my nails. He then proceeded to clip my pinky nail and then pull it as if to pull off the nail from my natural nail. It hurt and ended up making my finger bleed so I told him to stop because he was going to try and continue. He then looked at my hand and said "so um I'm not exactly sure what to do at this point". I said you know what I will just go somewhere else thanks. :'( I was looking forward to getting my nails done for valentines since I dint have much me time. The way this whole situation played out...I don't believe he knew how to do nails or was even licensed.

I’ve been to this place twice but never again. I’ll give them one star because the lady was nice enough but it has been an ordeal with them from the get-go. The first time I went in i already had bio gel from a previous manicure from another salon and regular gel on my toes. Well, I went in explaining to them that I wanted to take a break from bio gel and do regular gel for my manicure and pedicure. The employee working there said it wasn’t possible and that the bio gel had to grow out, etc etc. He then kept saying that bio gel was better for my nails, fine I did a bio gel manicure and a regular gel pedicure. Fast forward to last weekend when the bio gel was detaching from my nails and honestly, I was ready to take a break from bio gel. I went back and explained that I just wanted to take a break from gel and wanted a bio gel removal, regular manicure, and gel pedicure. Immediately the employee started interrogating me and telling me that bio gel takes forever to remover and regular polish only lasts for a day. (If regular polish only lasts for a day then why do they offer it??). I stood my ground and said that I wanted the removal and I wanted it soaked off to prevent damaging my nails. He said it would take long but I had money, time and they weren’t even busy as I was the only customer there. And so, they started, they weren’t happy but they started. For one, they kept hurting me trying to remove a part of my toenail that was curved and would go between doing my fingers and toes. When they started doing my manicure they hurt me with the nail drill and the nail tech started RIPPING the bio gel off of my natural nails. I told him again that I wanted it soaked off and he ignored me. It wasn’t until he started drilling and he hurt me once more that I said enough was enough and demanded them to be soaked off. I’m not sure what he said but he seemed upset and told the lady that did my toes that she can finish my manicure…..she then proceeded to push for a gel manicure. To all my gals and pals that like getting their nails done, avoid this place like the plague. They might be somewhat nice but they either don’t know or don’t care to take care of your nails.Services: Manicure

I went in to have my acrylic nails removed, a pedi, brow and lip wax. Pedicure was horrible. Didn't wash my feet. Didn't use lotion. Didn't remove dead skin from my cuticles. They massaged my feet with a massage gun! They obviously have never removed acrylic nails or were to lazy to do it correctly. I could have chewed them off and done a better job.Service: Pedicure

THE BEST mani/pedi I’ve ever gotten! & I’ve been to many different nail salons. They are friendly, & take their time to ensure perfection. I’ll be back! Happy I found a great nail salon that does great work, but also fairly priced.Services: Manicure

Well, ever since moving to Camarillo I have been on the hunt for a really good nail salon. I decided to try Natural Nails in Thousand Oaks. Boy, was that a waste of my time and energy. I went in there and I wanted a basic manicure and a basic pedicure. I had gel already on my toes not acrylic just gel. Every woman knows that when it's just gel, they take their drill with the little sand roller and sand it off. He barely touched my toes with the silver metal roller then told me that he had to soak them off. I looked up the pricing on soaking off and it runs up to $15. So I proceeded to ask him, why are you doing that? His response is "Oh it is to save your nail" Now I have been getting my nails done since I was 15 years old, you do not need to do that. Soy next remark was, " All you have to do is use the grinder with the sandpaper roller and it comes right off. There is no need to charge me for soaking off my gel. This is not acrylic." He proceeded to argue with me on how it needs to be done this way to protect my toenails. I looked at him and said very politely, my toe nails have been great using a drill for 26 years. Please do not do that. Just use the drill. He said well I will need to take off the rest of the acrylic on your fingernails anyway. I had maybe six little spots on each finger that had a little bit of acrylic left. You could get it off with a plastic tip which they use to put on acrylics, or some nippers. They were lifted already. So let me clarify then with you. You want to charge me $33 for a pedicure, $15 to soak off my gel toenail polish, then for a manicure $30 and a soak off fee as well. Which would be another $15. He said yes. That is when I took my foot out of the pedicure bowl and said thank you for your time. But I will be leaving now. He looked at me and was in complete shock. I looked at him and said I am not going to be hustled. That might work for some women but it doesn't work for me. I would never go back there. I would never recommend anybody to go especially with kids.

This picture was taken three days after my nails were done by Ken at Natural Nails. (Ignore the old lady arthritic hands, I'm stuck with those, but they've served me well for a long time and are still hard working hands.) If you had seen what they looked like when I walked into Natural Nails, you'd be as impressed as I am. Spent a few weeks laying pavers and thrashing my hands, then had some long nails put on (somewhere else) for a dressy event. Ah, vanity. If my nails were a mess before that, they were really trashed after the long ones started lifting. Wasn't interested in going back to the last place to add to the damage. Ken cleaned them up the best he could without bloodshed or tears. I can live with these shorties as they get healthy again.

Hands down the best nail salon in the area. Ken and his staff are so wonderful and always accommodating. They do a phenomenal job. Ken especially goes above and beyond for me and my nail care - he is always considerate and providing me products out of kindness. I have never been disappointed with the outcome of my nails. Not only are they exactly the way I ask for, they last way longer than anywhere else I've been to!

Mani and pedi’s were great BUT they charged me $97 for a regular manicure, a gel pedi and my daughters nails and toes to be painted (just painted) $45 just for my toes is absolutely absurd…another $22 to do my nails (not gel), $25 just to paint my daughters nails no actual manicure just paint, and $5 for an extra massage which actually is the only thing that was priced normal. If you go here get the pricing UPFRONT, because $100 for a mani pedi gel or not is absolutely ridiculous. I have gone to many places and this was by the the most over priced. Good work but for that amount.Services: Gel manicures

Horrible experience. He destroyed my natural nails by prying off the gel polish instead of filing or soaking off! New gel application already peeled off! My long healthy nails are completely destroyed! Like paper from him peeling and prying off gel coat.

If I could give this place zero stars I would! Literally felt like I was in the twilight zone, not one other person in the salon. The gentleman started doing my pedicure after I watched him lay down for five minutes, I then asked him if somebody was going to be doing my Manicure at the same time as my pedicure and he said there was no body else working although I saw two women in the back. About halfway into my pedicure he stood up and walked away and One of the women from the back came and finished my pedicure with no words spoken, LOL! In total it took two hours and 10 minutes for me to get a manicure and a pedicure. This place is a JOKE, Do yourself a favor and go anywhere but here!
