Worse service ever, my latest debacle is with their curbside. After letting them know on the app that I had arrived, no one came out. I had to come in and let them know I was outside waiting. Whats the point of curbside if you need to come in. And then I was told told that I should be thankful I was being helped, well THANK YOU for doing what your paid to do, thank you so much.

When the listed phone number only goes to call centers in India and they say it is impossible to call the store directly they wonder why Amazon is taking away their business. I can get the same products plus more at a better price on Amazon and they will deliver in 1-2 days. Tried to call and see if a product was in stock because last time I went in and it wasn't and it was nothing but a headache. So I spent my money at Amazon and ordered it in 5 minutes with it being delivered the next morning. When you make it difficult for people wanting to spend money at your business they will just find another that won't. No wonder Best Buy will be out of business in a few years!

customer service does not exist in the Thousand Oaks store. Two months ago I went looking to buy a tablet, and I was unable to find anyone to help me. Today I called on the phone and was put on hold by the automated system and no one picked up the phone so after 10 minutes I hung up. I then went to the store wanting to buy a TV today and I was there for over an hour and was unable to get any assistance. There were more employees in the store, then customers and yet customer service was lacking. I will never go to Best Buy ever again. I called the competitor on the phone and they assisted me immediately. It is a pure shame that customer service doesn't exist in some stores.Bye, Bye No Buy

I bought a brand new MacBook back in April 2023. To make a long story short, I took it to Apple in July, because I noticed it had problems charging. Apple said it needed a new logic board and when they went to open up the computer they said it had extensive water damage. The computer was brand new and I had absolutely no idea how I got it. I was all ready to pay the $300 have Apple repair it, but I thought it would be worth asking Best Buy to pick up the cost. After all, the computer was brand new and I had Total Tech. Well, were they totally willing to send out the computer to Apple, but they offered to replace my computer for free. Now this is the way to do business. Thank you to Joel and the entire Genius Bar Team. I plan on purchasing a Desktop within the next couple of months and will definitely be coming back to this location. A big thank you. Saved me a lot of unnecessary stress.

I have attempted to arrange for delivery and installation of a large TV. I was given a 4 hr. appointment time of 12:00 to 4:00pm for delivery. With me working and my wife taking care of business I get a text saying that 'Austin' will be there at 10:25am. Needless to say nobody was at home. So much for appointment time from 12:00 to 4:00pm.Best Buy wrote it up as a 'no-show.There are people who love Best Buy, I'm not one of them. Their service motto is: You need us but we don't need you!

WORST BUYA good friend bought a new, $400 Samsung TV from Best Buy (May 2023, Thousand Oaks, CA), opened the box and found a damaged screen. She had a family emergency (her daughter was hospitalized) immediately after the purchase, so she opened the box 4 days past Best Buy's ridiculous two week window. Samsung said the TV was damaged during shipping, so it was Best Buy's problem, not theirs. And Best Buy (and Geek Squad) told the customer it was no longer their responsibility. Attempting to return the TV, the customer found several identical TV's being returtned that were damaged during shipping. Clearly they had a shipping problem. PLEASE don't give this company your business, they're as bad as they come. The absolutely heartless customer service meant a single mother (raising two kids) lost $400.

Long time, no visit, but today's visit immediately brought me back to my old memories: an old customer who likes BB very much, and visits it often like a neighborhood store.Especially, once I stepped in, the first rep, Kyle, came to welcome me with a genuine smile, and offered me efficient and professional assistance, which made me so happy and satisfied. Kyle then again helped me to the end, seeing to it that I was served well completely! I was feeling as if I were treated like a VIP!Actually, the whole team is great! Hunter, Echo, and the other two(sorry I forgot their names). Besides, the supervisor, Anthony, also talked to me in a very amiable way! After years of Covid, with many chaotic things in the world as well as in America(the wars, the gun shootings...), people are so easy to be angry, sad and scared, without much expectation of the kindness. Yet, my today's BB experience was an excellent heart-warming one! Who would say enough to kindness and great service? Yet, the service I received today at BB touched my heart, and made me feel more than satisfied!I do respect the whole team!

Since the remodel they have turned it into a Target with their shiny concrete floors and painfully understaffed stores. I did an entire 2 laps of the store and couldn't find a single employee. I did an in store pickup this same day and was dumbfounded to find an empty in store pickup area. Not an employee in sight!! I had ordered my item for curbside but it was changed to in store pickup. Ok, no big deal but you know, don't make people stand in this empty line for 5 minutes before someone finally comes to help. I would curb side order here all the time, they were fairly quick and efficient, even after 5pm. This WAS my favorite store compared to Oxnard or Simi Valley but I don't know anymore. There are conference rooms and strange areas all around the perimeter of the building, the bathrooms were moved to the other side of the building and made smaller to accommodate those weird empty conference rooms. Why, why does Best Buy need those? No idea. This place in particular has become very sterile compared to how welcoming it used to be.

My wife and I took our computer into the Thousand Oaks Best Buy store because a CD was stuck in it. We are Total Tech members of the Geek Squad and are seniors that are not good with computers. They took it in for repairs. The next day we picked it up at the store. They had totally cleaned the insides and fixed the hard drive. They did not charge anything and were very friendly. Michael, Stephen and Joel were the techs that did a great job. I would recommend this store and the Geek Squad.

If I could give no stars, I would. Best Buy is the worst place to do business with they have no customer service. They lie to you and every time you call customer service you get somebody from another country and if they don't like what you're saying they hang up on you. I will never purchase another item at Best Buy. I went in and bought a phone 4 weeks ago and promise delivery November 12 but the phone never came. I called today they told me the phones are not available till sometime in January but they've already charge my credit card. Be smart do not buy anything at Best Buy. Management doesn't care. Corporate has no phone number to reach them and honestly they figure they're so big they can screw you if they want. I even sent an email to their customer service complaint department two weeks ago with no response. It's a nice company that doesn't care about their loyal customers. I will be telling them to cancel my credit card as well. They suck.

I did a curbside pickup. It says it would take them 10min to get the products. I was tired and sleepless that day thats why I chose to do a curbside. Since I was tired, I dont have the energy to go inside and wait in line. I was at the curbside for an hour. And still no sign of any Best buy associates. So I went in, theres maybe 5 people(working there) standing by the entrance door. And I dont know why they missed the curbside pick up an hour ago. So I talked to one of them, and yes, he doesnt have an idea about the pickup and told me that its still in the warehouse. They are not paying attention. Whats the point of the curbside pick up if you still have to go in and tell them?

I cannot seem to get anybody within the Best Buy world to assist me with my replacement order. I am beyond shock at how this company operates between the communication with the geek squad, the warehouse, shipping...it's astounding to me. People are kind however the systems they use to operate or communicate are nonexistent. End of day, give me my money back. I've been dealing with this situation of a replacement for over a month. I cannot believe how many hours of my life I've wasted to be given the run around and yet, still no replacement order. I paid for the product and the "replacement plan"...guess what, no product and no refund!!!!
