I bought a pretty expensive set of 800 thread count bed sheets from this Macy's store. I went to Macy's because I thought that I would find quality products there. I didn't want to take a chance on spending a lot of money on sheets that were going to fray or pill within a few months. The sheets I purchased at Macy's were garbage - they ripped within 2 months after washing them maybe three times on medium cycle. Macy's refused to take them back, issue an exchange, or take any responsibility for those sheets. So I have decided that I will never shop at Macy's again. When you go into this store, it's literally a ghost town; there is not a single customer to be found. There is almost not a single staff member to be found either. I now know why. If I wanted to get ripped off on low quality products, I could have just shopped on Temu.

The Shoe Salesperson did not even look at me in the eyes when talking to me,and suggested sweats which i was not even asking about, also they have shoes on display that they dont even sell. Makes no sense

Rachel in the Macy's men's department needs customer service training. Literally was on autopilot and was a robot for her customers and monotone. No Christmas spirit and felt like I was just a transaction to her. Do better.

Worst customer service and is really turning into a crap company. I could imagine a world without Macys if they keep doing business the way they are.

I've lived down the st from this Macy's for yrs.. go there pretty regularly .have gone my whole life.. The last three times I've been there the customer service I've has been HORRIBLE. One time my husband and I had to wonder around in the men's department to find a cashier for 10 -15 min. We finally gave up and left because we never found anyone ..& the one guy we saw..& tried to get his attention .. he went into a back room and ignored us. The next time was Halloween and my son had asked me to go get him some white undershirts for his Halloween costume . He wasn't sure of the size . So I got him one package small and one medium...& it was same thing.. took forever to find a employee to check out... Today I went back to return the small package unopened ..( perfectly packaged because it hadn't been opened) I also had original receipt with me.. so no biggie ( you would think) The lady is sort is sizing me up ..& asks me how many tanks were in package ? I said I'm not sure.. so I looked at package and it said 4. So I said "here.. there are 4" She looks at me again ..opens package and starts to take them out and count them infront of me. I just left it alone and waited til she was done . Then she couldn't process the return ( I forgot I used my husbands card which I didn't have with me) then she calls another woman over. And I asked if they could just give me cash. Then the other woman says "no..& these aren't even on the receipt !" I said "what are you talking about ..it's right here .. men's underwear $32.99.. and here's the same price and sticker on the package ..& the sticker to scan! " .. then she said .." well .. we can only give you store credit " I said no thanks.. I'll come back with other card " and I left.. but what there hell? Based on how dead Macy's has been lately.. you'd think they wouldn't want to lose customers. But they have lost me .

Friendly service. If you like early Christmas, add this to your list to go and browse their displays. Great discount items too.

This is not a review for Macy's but an employee. I shop at Macy's all the time. The quality' of service is usually below average but today was different! I went in looking for a suit for my husband. I was kinda in hurry bc I had my 2 toddlers with me. I ran into Mike T. and he was breath of fresh air. He helped pick the right brand and made sure to find his size in the suit coat as they only had 1 in the store. If only everyone was as wonderful and helpful as him. He should be teaching others in the store about customer service and he deserves a raise. Thank you Mike for you time and patience

Great selection of goods and I love their sales! I was redoing a guest bedroom and I went to Macy's site for bedding. I ordered sheets, pillows and a comforter in no time. They arrived promptly and they look fabulous!

I bought a sterling silver and pink sapphire ring from Macy's on line. It was on sale for $50. It arrived fine, I took it out of the packaging and examined it, inspecting for any faults before I removed the tag. Removed tag, put ring on, did not touch or lift or rub up against anything. However, when I looked at the ring on my hand to show it to my husband not 5 minutes later, one stone was missing. This is not uncommon for Macy's jewelry for 'stacking' rings or rings with numerous small stones in them. I worked in the fine jewelry department at Macy's and the returns on these type of rings should have been a red flag especially since I took so many returns back. Unfortunately, I have to return the ring. I won't be buying anything else from Macy's jewelry department that is a Macy product. Macy's products simply are not as well made as other jewelry such as Effy (of which I have several pieces) or really, any other fine jewelry brand they carry. As to fashion jewelry? Same is true. Just not the Macy's or the Macy's products we've all depended on all these years. Things are cheaply made, the store itself is dirty and not kept clean, nor are the clothes. I wouldn't wear anything from Macy's without having it dry cleaned or washing it first. The dressing rooms are filthy. They can't keep employees so there is a phenomenal turn over, and those they hire they treat poorly. I quit working there due to the ugliness they perpetrated towards the associates and the atmosphere of continual threat to get more credit cards opened or else, packaged nicely with other vague threats. I asked to take the last 4 hours of one of my shifts off so I could take my child to the airport as she was moving cross country and hadn't lived on her own before. My manager that day said "Too bad. You can't have that off. You need to get your priorities straight." Apparently this Macy's "lite" is supposed to be more important than my family. Every day was rife with the worst working atmosphere and managers hiding or yelling at employees for insulting customers by following the rules they give us then allowing the customers to have what they like the way they like while shaming us. Awful fucking place. I shop on line or at another Macy's. Maybe if they had sent the ring to me in something like a ring box rather than the small plastic jewelry bag and a padded envelope it wouldn't have broken so soon or at all.

Great selection, pleasant environment, music a little too forward but bearable. Associate forgot to remove ink anti theft button off an item. I didn't check until home of course. Had to go back and get the thing off of there. Still a casual place to browse but prices aren't TJ Mx for sure.
