I didn't really want to have to do this exercise. I'm giving them two stars because we've done business with them in the past and it was OK. Here's the problem. Tuesday morning December 27 I needed to rent equipment. Figured they would be closed the day after Christmas on the 26th so I waited till early Tuesday to call them. Attempted three times and all three times got their voicemail. Now here's where it gets problematic. No message on their voicemail that they're closed or on vacation. No word they are closed early or late. I made the determination to drive down to Thousand Oaks from Camarillo thinking that they were open and just couldn't answer their phone since it was a busy week. You know where this is going. I arrived at Lister Rentals to find them closed up and lock tighter than a safe in the bank. I understand this is the week between Christmas and New Year's and many businesses are closed. Issue here is there's no information on their voicemail or on their website or on Facebook? I know small business has suffered the past three years and I understand that. This is 2022 and it takes no effort to populate your website and put on your voicemail you're closed for business or on vacation. Almost every business has a Instagram page to let consumers know the hours and days open or closed for business. Happy New Year!

Rented truck to move a piano so I needed a lift poor brakes to start off got clipped on the gas 99 cents a mile drive 40 miles plus gas tank was almost full BS look elsewhere

We went to get our RV tanks filled. I drove up. Someone asked if I needed help, immediately. We drove to the tanks and they were filled in less than 10 minutes. $4.00/gal + $2.90 tax. Easy peasy!! Highly recommend this family-owned business in T.O.

So incredibly disappointed in this place. I had a reservation for a truck with a lift, confirmed it earlier in the day by driving in. And when I went to pick it up, they said I had no reservation and literally gave the truck to a guy that walked in behind me. Must have been a buddy of theirs but left me totally screwed. Never, ever going to depend on them again. If there was a way to leave 0 stars I would have!
