I recently had a highly disappointing experience with Westlake Genesis dealership, specifically involving two associates named Nicole and Elliot. I feel compelled to share my encounter to caution potential customers.Having driven three hours to reach the dealership, I was shocked to discover a significant disparity between the pricing I had been quoted and the figures presented by Nicole and Elliot upon arrival. This discrepancy was not only inconvenient but also raised serious concerns about the integrity of their pricing practices.The lack of transparency and apparent deception from these associates left me deeply dissatisfied. I believe in fair and ethical business dealings, and unfortunately, my experience at Westlake Genesis fell far short of these standards.I strongly advise potential customers to exercise caution and thoroughly scrutinize any pricing information provided by Nicole and Elliot. It is disheartening to see such behavior tarnishing the reputation of an establishment that many rely on for their automotive needs.I hope that by sharing my experience, others can make informed decisions and that Westlake Genesis addresses these issues promptly to maintain trust and credibility with their customer base.

Beware if you buy a car from here, they will spam you, and junk mail you, for the rest of your natural life. I have spent years begging them to remove me from their mailing lists and email lists, but the junk keeps coming regularly. THEY JUST WON'T STOP, EVEN AFTER BEING ASKED NICELY, MULTIPLE TIMES! They are so frustrating!

Bringing in a vehicle for any type of service is never fun but Genesis of Westlake makes the process extremely easy and convenient. My service representative, Nick, always provides excellent and efficient service. He is thorough and very communicative. I’ve been to other non-Genesis service departments and their service doesn’t even come close to the first class service that Nick and his team provide.

Over the past 18 months, not one person from the dealership ever returned a phone call. I had questions about the car itself and could not talk to anyone. Messages were not returned. The same with the service department. If you’re lucky enough to have someone answer the phone, consider yourself lucky. I purchased a policy covering tires, wheels, rims, dings, dents and windshields. The policy was never added to my account and when I got a nail in my tire, they charged me for it. I’m still waiting for reimbursement. My windshield cracked and after a week, I’m still waiting to be scheduled for replacement. I love the car but the dealership stinks.

I had the best experience today at the Westlake genesis dealership with James the salesman, I'd like to say this place was super clean, super fast super on top of everything very friendly and James was absolutely hands-down amazing. I recommend this place to everybody to buy a car not only is the vehicle, amazing the staff is hands-down just as amazing and especially James thank you Westlake genesis for your kindness and Hardwork James.

Made a reservation at Genesis of Westlake, with Marycruz, and when I arrived, was approached by a person who asked if I needed any help. I replied that I had an appointment with Marycruz. He stated that he didn't know anyone by that name, then, stated that she was probably the receptionist, and would refer us to him anyway. It was all downhill from there. This person stated that he had been with Genesis since December, and was very familiar with cars. Just felt like this person was stealing Marycruz's customer.I asked him which Genesis he owned, and he said he didn't own one, but, his favorite was the GV70. Didn't have a great deal of knowledge other than Genesis had the best technology of any car. Stated that Genesis had a great service package with 36 month's free service. I asked him what the cost of an oil change was after the 36 month service. His reply "that's a very good question, I don't know". After a test drive, we sat down to talk finances, and, things went further downhill. After haggling about price, he refused to take our offer to his manager, unless, we were definitely going to buy the car. He kept reiterating that it was a waste of his time unless were were ready to commit to buying. Reluctantly, he finally took our offer to his manager.Rather than ramble further about the experience, let me summarize my experience with Genesis of Westlake (O'Gara Coach)Customer Experience - walking into a high end dealership, I outdoor expect a high level of professionalism, appearance, knowledge and articulation. Everyone was dressed in black polo's and black pants, that looked to be old and worn, not the high end professional look that I expected. Looked like something that I would find at a generic used car lotAmbiance and Impression - This dealership sells Bentley's, Rolls Royce, Jaguar, Maserati, Genesis, and Hyundai. From the outside, it's a very impressive campus. However, inside is a completely different story, as, it's difficult to determine who's selling what! Everything looks the same, with everyone in their awful generic uniforms. Overall - Loved the Genesis GV70; however; hated the customer engagement, professionalism, and ambiance that I expected from a dealership that tout's itself as a Luxury Car Dealership.

The genesis dealership is fantastic at sales. Five stars. The service is the worst I've ever experienced in my 35 years of car ownership. You make a phone call to the general dealer number and ask for service. They say they can't get a hold of them and they'll call you back. No return call. Eventually you call a few more times and get to the service receptionist. You asked to speak to a service advisor either by name or in general. The service advisor is always with another customer and you have to leave a message. No return call from the service advisor. You do that a couple of times. I then tried to escalate to the manager of the service department. And as you can imagine, that person is in a meeting and can't come to the phone. Today, alone, while trying to get a status on my car, I've had my phone number taken six times. I gave very specific instructions of what needed to be corrected so I can pick my car up this afternoon. The service advisor texted me back and said hello sir how can I help you? I texted back for the service advisor to call me. And the text they didn't mention me by name, they didn't mention my car, didn't mention anything specific - it was a generic message. I tried calling the phone number that was texted from, and I got no response. If you were thinking about buying a new Genesis, be prepared for this type of service interaction, a Genesis Westlake.Update: went to pay for the car. No accounts receivable office. Have to queue up for the service advisor again. Been waiting 20 minutes now to just pay my bill. Go buy a Mercedes or BMW. You are in and out in 5 minutes for payments. This dealership prioritizes optimizing cost and not staffing service appropriately vs customer service. I'm sure I am one of many irate customers. The sales side should care - I'll never buy another awesome Genesis again because their service is so incredibly poor.

Had a great experience - dealership is classy, clean, has good inventory. Glauco, our sales rep, was extremely friendly and helpful; low pressure. Financing people were very accommodating. Perhaps most importantly, the service department has been extremely responsive, helpful and responsible. And we love the car!

Unprofessional Sales manager, agresive and abusive, I had sales manger cursing at me, a Palastinian manager that found out that I am Jewish from Israel was spitting in face and yelling in front of all the stuff, another sales person that refused to give his name with bird and tatues all over the body had put his face and was ready to hurt me, I am 65 years old man and I made them offer for a car but I didn't think it was going this way, my sales person came and apologized for the behavior of his colleagues but I suggest you not to go close to this dealership, including the Bentley.

Terrible. The worst service center ever. Buying a high end luxury suv with promises of a special experience brought some expectation of competence. what a complete and utter disaster. Brought my gv80 in with 1500 miles on it to hv a few warranty items fixed, not only were they unable to fix ANY but told me all was okay. The service writer I insisted on looking at the car after "service" found my issues and agreed with me and assured me that parts were ordered and woukd call me in a couple of days to bri g into service yet again. Three weeks still waiting for that call. I went ahead and called Genesis concierge who lined up repair n day of repair I'm waiting for non existent valet which by the way I was erroneously told last screwup wasn't available for warranty claims.I will never bri g my car to them againI'll try Santa Monica Genesis
