Took my car in twice for servicing on the hybrid battery for our Hyundai sonata. Not only did they not fix the issue, they were unresponsive to calls and were very vague when answering questions about the car. Do not recommend this dealership.

Absolutely terrible group. Massively regret leasing a Genesis from these people. I called with concerns for weeks without getting a single call back from the 6 different people I was told to speak with. I finally walked in and addressed a big problem with a vehicle. It was looked at, the concern was documented by their people and they refused to do anything about it, referring me to Corporate Affairs. Joe, the GM here tried his best to show a concern face, all the while giving standard replies about nothing he can do. The car is not holding its value nor its battery life. Their preferred charging operator (Electrify America) is never fully operational and they claim its not their problem. This dealership has offered no solutions. They made plenty of promises at time of lease and now 15 months later, its been a nightmare.. Yet again, not their problem they say.

The worst! Had an appointment for a recall repair only to receive no notice, but a reschedule to some date possibly next year. No call from service, no explanation, and certainly no courtesy. Genesis is a wonderful automobile, but clearly Westlake Genesis sees no value in courtesy, nor concern for a safety recall that puts their owners in danger.

If you get a service here, make sure you review your credit card transaction. They took my credit card info for deposit purpose but charged my CC without letting me know and for no reason. Whenever I try to reach the finance department, they are never there. One who answers the phone told me to leave a message but never received a call back.

I emailed, called and spoke to, AND texted a person named Sarah at this dealership. She had in writing exactly what I was looking for and assured me multiple times she had two vehicles that matched it in stock. She scheduled me an appointment with Jake to go over paperwork the next day and knew I’d be taking the day off work and driving over an hour with another person to be able to come in and take the car home. When I arrived and spoke to Jake, he looked at me in complete surprise and said he didn’t have those cars and they had been sold weeks/days ago. I obviously was furious. After they tried to sell me on the newest model and I said that was out of my budget, he had another person work on locating me a similar car at another location. After waiting for about an hour, I was told they located a car and would have it shipped for me, but to go home and give them a few hours to finalize the deal. I told him I couldn’t just keep waiting around and I don’t live in the area so he assured me he would call me in a bit and we would do paperwork over the phone. I shook Jake’s hand and thanked him for putting the effort in to sourcing something for me and headed home to wait for their call. Guess what - never heard from them again. I called the other location they had found the car at and explained the situation, and was told they were not going to sell Westlake their stock. I couldn’t even get so much as an email from Jake saying they couldn’t fulfill their promise. This has been a pattern at every Genesis I have visited and as much as I really would like this car, the fact is that I have been lied to multiple times and had days of my time completely wasted by their salesmen. It’s a shame coming from a brand that supposedly excels in service and luxury brand building. I don’t know why it’s so hard to try to give people your money - buying a car has become such a burden on the consumer. I’m unsure sometimes whether it’s laziness or pretentious attitudes of salespeople but every single Genesis (12 of which I’ve called) has had a similar “Yes, of course!” demeanor when I first call and then completely ghosts me when they have a little bit of work to do to get a deal done.

I love my 2025 GV80 and I want to give a shoutout to Adel and Jason for making the car buying experience simple and easy. Also, a huge shoutout to Nareh for making the finance process fun and easy.
