On June 28th, I visited this location to have four new tires installed and an alignment done on my Infiniti QX80 with 22” wheels. After the work was finished and I walked to my vehicle, I started to take a quick look at the wheels and tires to make sure the tires were seated on the wheels correctly before driving away. I immediately noticed a significant amount of scratching/chipped metal inside of the recessed area where the lug nuts go. I take really good care of my vehicles and detail them regularly. I had just detailed the car a few days prior and this scratching wasn’t there. I looked at all four wheels and the scratching existed on every one of them. As though the technician put their impact wrench into the recessed area without making sure it was securely around the lug nuts and let it bang around and scratch each of my wheels. I went back inside and informed Oscar of the scratches and asked if he’d take a look at them with me. He walked out to the car with me and didn’t have much to say other than, “sorry that happened.” He didn’t offer to fix my wheels or anything else. I had just driven to California from Colorado two days prior and was starting the beginning of a five week vacation in Ventura County. After a couple days with the scratched wheels on my mind and after showing them to a few people including another tire shop, all said that the damage was unacceptable and that I should reach out and ask for Just Tires to do something to fix the damage. I called and talked to Oscar. I asked if he was the manager or if there was a manager or store owner I could talk to and he informed me he as the highest level of management at this store. I explained that I was not happy with the damage done to my vehicle and that I was on vacation, but had five weeks for us to figure out a solution and asked that he do something about the damage. He asked me to send him photos and to call him the following week. I called the following week and he said he needed to talk to corporate and to call again the next week. I asked why he needed to call corporate and why his store couldn’t take care of me and he said that’s how they handle this sort of thing. I called again the following week on the day he said to call and he wasn’t there. I sent him a couple emails over a few days and did not receive a reply. I called again the following week, now, approximately three weeks after the damage was done and Oscar told me he had talked to corporate and that they were going to review any video footage from the store and that they were going to buy one of my wheels ($1,500 each) and see if they could replicate the damage done to see if they agreed that Just Tires could have done the damage. I asked when to expect to hear back and he said a couple of months. I asked if he had a case number for me, he said no. I said, “ok Oscar, so I have no case number, no contact at corporate, nothing in writing, I’ll be back in a Colorado in a couple weeks and I’m supposed to just wait for a call from you or someone in a couple months?” He said “yes.” I asked if there as a regional or district manager and he said no, they don’t have those. After this conversation, I called Goodyear corporate and got in touch with their property damage department. I summarized the interactions I had with Oscar and the property damage rep told me that what Oscar told me was a fabricated story, that they don’t buy wheels and try to reenact things as Oscar explained. He also said he saw no record of this store reaching out to corporate for anything. Also, he said there is a district manager, contrary to what Oscar told me. Long story short, corporate is taking care of me and will be purchasing me four brand new wheels at a cost of about $5500.

The place is open on Sunday, this is an advantage. Rob, the manager, is attentive and at work, answers the phones, follows up the work and the staff. The place is tidy and clean. Customers who come leave satisfied.

Rob was able to help me after I had bought my tires previously about a year ago from the now closed Simi Valley location. He extremely helpful in quickly determining a damaged tire which had a bubble in the sidewall was covered with my road hazard protection. The previous location had also put on 2 of the non-damaged tires inside-out which the team here flipped/fixed for me. Rob was quick at ordering a new tire and finding one that matched the same style since my other tires make was no longer available. The small fee for new roadside hazard on the new tire was so much cheaper than a new tire. The old tire wasn't immediately dangerous, but I had two people tell me to have it replaced so I was super glad I was able to get it replaced. Thank you a ton!

I feels like everyone here is an owner of the business The care factor is high at Just Tires in Thousand Oaks. And free tire repairs. We are 15 years with them, the lotalty rolls both ways. Love these guys!

Got a flat tire today and all I could think when it happened was how my day was absolutely ruined. I thought it was going to be several hundred dollars and take at least 3 hours to get fixed. No joke, it took less than 20 minutes and was less than 120 bucks for a brand new tire. Robert at the front desk was the greatest. Absolutely coming back here.

My son's car tire popped on the Fwy on his way back to college on a Sunday after break, where everything was closed for the most part. I found this place and miraculously they had the Pirelli tires in stock! The wheel lock wasn't in the car & the car dealership service was closed so we couldn't get the wheel lock the same day. It took a lot of back and forth & calls to get everything sorted on our end but Rob at this location was above and beyond helpful and patient and worked with us on all possible solutions. He stayed past closing to help us and let us keep the car securely in their garage overnight until we could come back the next day. He was extremely kind, professional and truly went above and well beyond normal customer service to help us out. He even identified the cause of the popped tire (the alignment was totally off and the 2nd front tire was also on the verge of popping!). He took care of everything very quickly knowing my son had to go back to school in time for an exam later that day. He deserves high praise for his exceptional customer service and genuine care and kindness. He even gave us a great deal considering the bind we were in. I very HIGHLY recommend him and this location. Thank you Rob!
