I recommend Jim's moving to my daughter. I had used the service a number of times. She called with a last minute challenge. They came on short notice, did an excellent job. Highly recommend

Stay clear of this place. Practically every item they touched has a mark or damage. That's all I can say. I had a very bad experience.

The best movers I have ever worked with. Easy to set up our appointment, patient when I called back with questions. I have -never- had movers take such care with our furniture or home. Not a single hit to walls or doors, kind and professional. Dave and Ryan are amazing gentlemen and cheerful. If you are on the fence, you can not beat this sort of quality and care for the price. They told me they go as far as Simi often, and I already plan to use them again when needed.

I hired Jim's movers to move my mother. She had a glass table top dining set. They broke the top glass piece. I called them multiple times to replace it or compensate for it. After multiple calls and messages left to him he finally got back to me and said I did not buy insurance for the move.. the cost to replace glass top is roughly 380.00. He said he would give me 60 cents per pound of the table, which is about 30.00. I will never use or refer Jim's moving again. There are so many other movers to use in our neighborhood that are good honest people..

Jim's moving moved us from California to Utah in December 2019. They came with a truck too small for the job. I made a huge mistake by trusting them to store the rest of my belongings until they could get them to Utah. Although the fist truck arrived on time and went well, the second truck came months later and several things were broken and several things were missing. I made another mistake by paying them in full after the first truck came. The worst part is that I can not get Stuart, the owner of the company to return my emails or phone calls to send me a claim and bring me missing items. He has just simply decided to be a dishonest person and not respond and take accountability for what went wrong. DO NOT use Jim's moving as your movers. Is anything goes wrong he will not respond.

I can't say enough good things about this company!I had to move my mother from her condo of 40 years to a private assisted living condo. Meredith (owner) was not only immediately responsive to my inquiry, he was able to schedule the move quickly.My mother had been in hospital, and it was clear that she could not go back to living alone in her own home (age 97!). We found a fabulous option for her, where she could have all of her own furniture.My brother insisted on moving her bedroom on his own so she could be checked out of the hospital faster. I BEGGED him to let me hire professional movers (and pay for it) and he got angry and insisted on doing it himself.So on top of moving my mother's stuff, I had to ask Meredith to now take two pieces of furniture (that my brother damaged beyond belief in his DIY move efforts) to a furniture repair location - which he happily accommodated.Jim is prompt, reliable, polite, efficient, kind, good humoured and just great to work with - AND his pricing is very reasonable.

Joshua, Cliff, Ryan, Andy, Jeff, were our crew today for a local move. They showed up ready to go. They are efficient, hardworking, and know how to move furniture without damage. I highly recommend them for any moving needs that you have.

Jim's Moving Service has done two moves for my family in the past four months. Each move went very smoothly, and from start to finish each person from Jim's was very professional and have excellent customer service. I truly felt that they care about their customers, treat the items that they are moving with care, and overall did an exceptional job each time. I rarely write reviews, however I felt that Jim's Moving Service should be recognized as a great company for all of your moving needs.

Very nice movers but wouldn't use again. I called the office and told Stuart they were nice so I tipped them $100 on a move that was just shy of $500. They didn't use good judgment and commingled dirty things with clean things. Steam mop and broom and lawn chairs in wardrobe boxes with my clean clothes. Also white floor lamp shade being carried in the lid of my litter box. What I didn't tell Stuart is that the screws were missing to my flat screen tv stand. They alleged they popped out during the move and have put zip ties in my tv to keep it from falling over until I get screws. The guys were nice and the damage was done so I didn't belabor the issue. I also didn't tell Stuart that they failed to get my apartment number down until the third attempt. When I called in the move order I told them my apartment number. Then 6 PM the night before they asked to confirm my address and didn't have the apartment number so I told them. Then the morning of the move they called again asking which apartment. Lastly they mentioned to add more coolant to the truck because it might be overheating. Scary to hear when you are mid move.

Jim's Moving Co. moved us in November. Our broker recommended him. I had checked out two other movers in the area, one never even returned our call. Stuart came to our home twice to make sure everything was in order, what was going & what wasn't. When I finally unpacked everything a few weeks later, I noted that not one single item was damaged or broken. His guys could not have been more helpful, courteous and polite from start to finish! I'd use them again.

Jim's helped my mom move today. I don't know what some of the other reviewers are talking about, it was the best moving experience- Cliff, Curtis and Andy were professional, courteous, caring and efficient- highly recommend!!

Great moving company, highly recommend to anyone looking to move. I had 2 other companies give me quotes and Jim's was by far the cheapest and Stuart (the manager) was extremely helpful from start to finish. He not only came out to my house the day I called to give me a quote but he also came out on my move day just to check how everything was going. The movers were also really good, I had Dan, Dave and Josh and they were all super careful with my things and very friendly. Will be recommending them to everyone I know who needs to move.
