I updated a picture from my hair appointment on Tuesday , November 21st. My hairstylist is the bomb and good energy vibes! Would I recommend, Eman.? Yes, 100% and I don't think she gets enough credit for the hard work she does, and also making a customer smile.

I went in trying to get a butterfly cut and came out with ugly chopped hair, one side was longer than the other. I did get a refund from Eva the salon manager after I was told I was already Homma's customer?? (Homma I guess is the lady that chopped off my hair) I had never been to a jc penney salon prior to this nightmare visit. One of the managers told me to just shave my hair off??? Main manager Douglas never responded to my emails. Very disappointed, I guess the hair dresser was new and did not know what she was doing since she also made a comment to the receptionist in her language (I found out later) that she did not understand what I wanted with the feather / butterfly look. stay away !!!!

Went for a kids haircut, they had a Back to School special through August and included a cut and shampoo and styling for $12, much cheaper than a franchise haircut place. Friendly staff, Ashely's work was quick and gentle with our grade schooler. Clean and cool inside. I will definitely go back.

Worst salon experience of my life. Whatever you do do not go to this business. Two ladies working there that do not understand English Refuse service to us. We had paid for a Groupon to get our hair done. Booked appointment five weeks ago. We had stated it was a Groupon appointment. Come in today to the appointment to find out they do not honor it because they're stating they are "master stylus", and that is for new employees, which they don't have their at the time. So we were refuse service, unless we pay an additional $45 each. What a SCAM! So unprofessional and the manger even was confused to his knowledge why Groupon is selling JCPenney hair styles and using them. As they were so confused, why the company is out sourcing. They felt they needed to get more money. This place is so unprofessional and so unreliable I would never make an appointment ever again I'd rather go to Supercuts in this place

I loved going here but the upcharge. I get I got highlights but they charge me for olaplex add on like I never asked for that. And glossing why the heck is it 30$??!?!? Next time I’m going to make sure they know that I don’t want anything other then HIGHLIGHTING not that extra random static they don’t say they’ll charge you for or explain it’s a charge?

Fantastic experience! Zahra is one of the best hair stylists I have gone to in the past 30 years.I have been to top notch salons paying up to $250 very unsatisfied with the skills of haircut/styling.. Zahra was pleasant professional and great with color as well. I appreciated the one on one attention as I have experienced other stylists working on two other clients at the same time .. JC Penney Salon is a pleasant atmosphere and right on with pricing.Services: Haircut

Don't come here, as someone who is previously worked at the JCPenney salon I thought I could trust going in here to get my hair done. I was wrong! I went in for a simple toning that should cost between $20-$40. I was told by a master stylist, the highest level of stylist that toning was not an option. That JCPenney as a company does not allow for toning's. As someone who was a receptionist at a different location salon I know that this is false. If you have bleached your hair or done whatever and just want to tone out the brassiness that is an option. I sat down thinking that I could get what I came for and leave and be happy! The stylist informed me that would be over $100 and that they don't do toning's and that it was being counted as a single process color. A toning is not a single process color! I am not dying my hair one color all over, I am just toning out the brassiness. Luckily I was aware of this, it's concerning that this knowledge is being spread to other customers and are essentially being conned out of their money into paying for a higher service. She then continued to tell me that in meevo, their booking system they don't have toning. Well I used to book toning's and I know for a fact that they do exist! I know toning has just been added to meevo so I asked her for a glossing. Which was used to book toning's before they had the toning option. She continued to tell me that people get fired for doing that, which is also false! The stylist I was with continued to tell me that the company doesn't allow for toning's, the company will fire anybody who does a toning and that only people who are in beauty school can be a receptionist. These are all lies! She continued to tell me that her client went to Nevada on a trip and that the JCPenney in Nevada did a toning and then asked why she only paid $20 there and had to pay over $100 here. I would strongly recommend not coming here because none of this information is true and you should be able to trust your hairstylist.

The lady that did my hair bragged about how good my hair was going to turn out and when I got home and looked at my hair better. She did a horrible job. After paying $140.00, I decided to go back and have her fix it. She still couldn’t get it right. I would never go back there again!!!
