I just wanted to share how wonderful Sean and Chris at Import Car Specialists have been over the many years that I have been bringing my cars to this repair shop. I was referred to Sean at Import a few years back - because many friends were telling me how honest Sean is - and how fair his pricing was. Sean has always gone 'above and beyond' to make sure that my vehicles were running smoothly and that I was safe. He takes the time to get to know his clients, which is a quality in a business that I greatly value. Chris is always so pleasant to deal with, he's very courteous, knowledgeable. The whole team has been such a pleasure to work with, that now everyone in my family (even my extended family) brings their vehicles here for repairs. Choosing a repair shop is all about trust - this is a shop that you can trust!

Needed to have my car serviced. Got tired of going to the dealerships. Was recommended them from a friend. When they were doing the service, they found that my rear brakes need to be done. I would highly recommend them.

Absolutely the best auto shop on the planet. Fair, honest, and incredibly friendly. Chris and Sean are the absolutely best. They can get booked up a bit, but that's only because of how good they are. It's worth the wait.

We have been coming to Import Car Specialists over the last decade or more. Hadn't been there however, for a few years, as our cars were new. We recently returned, after our newer cars " aged out" from car warranties and we'd been going to dealer service departments. So glad that Import Car Specialists is still around! Fabulous customer service, and they really care about their customers and go the extra mile. They work with integrity and are wonderful at what they do. A lot more reasonable rates than the dealer too!We noticed It takes a little longer to get an appointment, but it's probably because the word has gotten out about them.

This is the best mechanic in Thousand Oaks. Recently brought in a 99 Infiniti with 200k miles on it. Every other place I took it to was quoting well over the car was worth to fix the engine problem. The guys here took care of it in an economic and smart way for my situation. Their fix was good for a couple weeks until my light came on again, but that's a situation I am ok with because they started the repairs and got it running without me having to drop all that money at once, and I'm bringing it again to see what the next fix is. Keep in mind it's a 24 year old car with 200k miles. When I brought another car that was a lot newer, my old 2008 Mazda 3, they fixed it up perfect.

This is THE BEST place to bring your car for the maintenance, and/or if you have any issues. The staff is wonderful and Chris is just phenomenal! They seem to take pride for what they do and Chris takes care of you as if it is his issue. There is no hidden fees, he explains the details about what's going on with your vehicle (if there are any issues), and he is forthcoming about how much it costs before he does anything. Their price is reasonable as well. Very honest, skillful, trustworthy company which is extremely hard to find the company like his - especially now. Highly recommended and we will never bring our vehicles anywhere else! They ROCK!!!

My Audi Q5 needed new brakes all around. I thought that the dealership quote was too high, so went looking for an independent shop. I found Sean at Import Car Specialists and could not be more pleased. They did an excellent job with quick turnaround and I've got new pads and rotors on all four wheels for a great price! Plus, I got a free ride in Sean's "weekend" car! I recomend these folks and they'll be doing my scheduled Audi maintenance there from now on as well! Thanks
