My 5 year old Cantilever umbrella blew off the deck from a gust of wind during a storm. The umbrella was closed and tied. The base had the recommended 100lbs of gravel. A $2000 umbrella is a total loss. Worse, the cost to fix the deck damage is over $3100! Obviously, I not recommend this umbrella. It has a serious design flaw that makes it likely to tip over (this is the 2nd such incident) from an inadequate base support combined with a tall profile. Luckily nobody was hurt. Legal action is seriously being considered.

Expensive product...ZERO SUPPORT.A two dollar cable failed on a $2000, 4 year old umbrella. They will not sell the part, even though they still manufacture it.Instead I'm told to buy a new base for $780 plus taxes.I'd buy someone elses products.Mike WebbNaples FL.
