Had the worst experience in the thousand oaks store #34. When I bought a Halloween Costume 2 weeks ago the cashier told me I had 30 days for a full refund. Only 2 weeks later, when I tried to return this unopened costume, the only male manager told me I could not return it because Halloween costumes are final sale. When I explained my conversation from 2 weeks prior, he said I was a liar. He then proceeded to text the cashier who was on my receipt to confirm that she told me at that time that all Halloween sale was final. He with a smug look on his face showed me the text on his phone saying "never" I told him that doesn't mean anything because I don't know who he was texting. He then said i was raising my voice and again with a smug look on his face. When I said what happened to the costumer is always right, he said that's not true. So when I said "oh the costumer is not always right" he then argued back that I was putting words in his mouth. But it was too late because I heard what he said. My receipt had no indication that this was a final sale or what I bought was a Halloween costume. He looked at my receipt and said that if i tried to return it a week earlier, he may have been able to do something for me which makes absolutely no sense since I had a full month to return for my money back. When I asked for his name he said he will not give it to me because of confidentiality. At the time I bought this costume there was absolutely no signs or any indication in the store that Halloween costumes were final sale. I wouldn't have bought it for $64. I have never been treated in such a disrespectful and unprofessional manner in any store. I felt like a criminal and that I was doing something wrong because his manner was acting like he was catching me in misconduct. Other costumers were listening to us which made me feel uncomfortable because at this point he was putting on a show. For my intention was to quickly return the item and leave the store happy that I actually returned it on time. Instead I left shaking, very upset, humiliated, and angry. After I had filed a complaint to HQ, called my credit card to stop the payment, and will be sending a letter to the HQ written by husband who is a lawyer. By the mere fact he didn't want to give me his name, not only is he a terrible manager but a coward as well. Instead of Forever 21, it's now Neveragain21.

Not that i'm some massive forever 21 fan but...man they just CAN not be bothered at this store. Store was dead. Nobody in there. Selection was so small, I understand why. I've worked in retail- i know it's underpaid super hard work, so I give them a lot of credit but...you would think I was an annoying high school student the way this woman rolled her eyes when I simply asked her if she could search the store computer for an item I had the item code on from my original receipt. She could NOT be bothered. Huffed out loud as she typed out the item code and not even two seconds later "We don't have it"- not even a "but they have it at these locations"? Never had THAT response before?Then I asked her where the bathroom was and she just said "it's upstairs" I said "where?" She said "in the corner" I said "in what direction?" She mumbled something super snarky sounding under her breath and basically all I heard was "I work down here, I don't know"- and she went back to looking down at her screen.Yeah. Don't come here? I know retail is rough but like...the bathroom? I had to walk over to the Starbucks and ask an employee there where it was since the long haired brunette (with highlights?) at this store could not be bothered. Wish I had gotten her name. You never know what people are going through but it goes both ways. I hope if someone elderly or with a health problem came asking where the bathroom was, you wouldn't make them feel annoying for it.

Jenny needs some serious help.. or therapy! So rude and nasty everytime i come in even when i try to be kind. I worked in retail for years and understand having a bad day, but this girl has a bad day everyDAY. and definitely doesnt make enough to be acting this way. even on my worst day, i try to be kind to those who are kind to me but i dont believe she has a nice bone in her body. I have stories about her, and when i go to tell others they immediately know who im talking about. absolutely steers me away from shopping here. and whoever their manager is is horrible and enabling too, i guess her employees learn from her! 0/10

Damn I never had to review a Forever21 before.... Because to be honest I know what to expect; cheap prices and non-existent customer service... but that's OK, that's the trade off - not a 1-star experience until tonight.One of the amazing staff, Bonafide BadA** 'Bo' had to show what a seasoned pro he was by 'scolding' me for trying to take a shirt off a mannequin because no one would help me find said shirt, and I looked everywhere twice (time consuming pain in the butt).Apparently you cannot purchase the items on a Mannequin - Who knew? - this happens a lot at stores, and it's really never a problem - I mean 'customer service' - right?Anyways, 'Bo' basically slapped my hand back from pulling the shirt up, and very rudely (with a snobbish tone that I'm sure everyone he hangs with has to deal with) tells me "you can't buy that off the Mannequin" then persists, "I was going to tell you that about the jacket you took off too"... then proceeds to race to the register to tell the guy holding our pile of clothes that he has to take the jacket out of the stack!... What a win 'Bo' - You just couldn't my come up and explain the policy politely and professionally, you had to be a Prima Donna - I'm imaging you're always that way with everyone.Needless to say the probably $300-500 (I know, at Forever21 !! - there was a lot of stuff being bought tonight) all had to go back, because as much as my daughter wanted the stuff, there was no way I was going to reward Forever21 for having such a BadA** like 'Bo' to take care of customers. Darn shame - I had told the first 'nice guy' checking us out that I was going to apply (and certainly get) the Forever21 credit card for the reward points... now I don't have to worry about being tempted to shop there more if I was stuck with their card. Thanks 'Bo' - you rule!

Well I don't care much for reviews, but since I had the honor of walking out of this particular store leaving behind all my stuff (couple hundred bucks worth of stuff & all the time I spent finding the items I wanted etc...) so yeah the reason I am never going back to this particular store, & possibly forever 21s all together... The feminine looking little "man" .. not sure if he's an actual man, or if he's in the middle of transitioning to a woman, or if he's a woman who's already transitioned to a man, whatever it is, I'm just trying not to *mis-label* someone... but back to the point. Let's just say, he lost a very good costumer. Literally would consider coming back one day if he got fired... I mean he/she/it behaved just disgusting. Such a prissy little b****.. haha you all get the point. By the way, the princess' name is BO..

i walked in and asked a worker if she could help me order me a specific item, she told me "well if you want it you can order it yourself" even thought she was just relaxing behind the register. that's after i asked another worker for help and i got ignored. i felt like i was such a problem and i was only in the store for less than a minute. worst experience ever

I highly recommend Forever 21 if you're looking for on trend clothing. Forever 21 has affordable clothing and has staff that definitely know where all the clothes is and can always help you. Forever 21 also changes their clothes around each week or so, which can allow you to try all sorts of different clothes on and never have to wait to long for more clothing. You can even use their website! ( Overall Forever 21 has super cute and trendy clothes, nice staff, and affordable clothes!

Was treated horrible by cashier today 7/8/2021 at 3pm..The Oaks mall. She basically waved her hand in our face to get lost. Will not be returning. One stop rip off. Clothing is cheap, sizes are off unless you are considered large and wear a size 6. This shop should be called twelve forever. Service is horrible. Sales are final, they will not take returns. I would skip and shop somewhere more reliable, respectful and customer centered.

Moises at the Thousand Oaks store was so nice, patient, knowledgeable and friendly. He should be employee of the month as all customer service providers should follow his way . Such a great addition to this store . He was so friendly and works well with the buyers . Definitely would shop there just for him !! Moises is definitely five star service and great to know ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I would give a negative rating if I could. Extremely rude management. Shamed and embarrassed me for having a plus-sized body. Refused to help me. Don't go here.
