This review is long overdue. There are so many things I love and appreciate about DeFrens: They carry beautiful high quality items that are unbelievably affordable. Even though this is highest quality consignment store in area by far, the staff is welcoming, store fun to explore, so many unique items and I always learn from helpful staff. It is a joy to write a review for this gem of a store hidden in an business complex. We are fortunate to have DrFrenS around and you will want to come back again and again to see what's new.

What a charming store.. I felt like I was walking into someone's home yet everything was for sale. The women who own De Frens were so knowledgeable and helpful. I especially enjoyed the unique French products.. I felt like I was in a boutique in Paris.

Absolutely Beautiful. I have been looking for high end antiques in my area and have finally found my go to spot. I will certainly be back for a large haul when I have more time. I highly recommend checking this place out

Though like most people my age, ahem, I really should bring stuff here to consign not buy, but couldn't help it browse for I don't know what.... Settled for some imported pantry specialties, tea, olives, vinegar. I would have loved to bring home some beautiful pink glasses and maybe a coffee table and a poster, but left quickly before temptation overwhelmed my wallet. Prices are very reasonable compared to the Whizin Center but also a smaller store. The store ladies are genuinely nicest and wish they got a Cappuccino machine or serve that perfumy Marie Antoinette tea and I would hang out here indefinitely.

I purchased a full set of furniture for my apartment from here, the place has incredible treasures and and I have nothing but good things to say about Anne the one who helped me find them. There is a great variety of things to look through. Anne was extremely courteous and helpful, her caliber of professionalism is seldom seen. The prices were great and Anne drives a fair bargain, but most importantly, she is passionate about her work and helping you get what you came for. I couldn’t recommend a better experience for furnishing a space full of beautiful things. Let me be the first to say that I couldn’t recommend DeFrenS enough. My endeavor was complimented by the amiability and resolve of Anne in helping me find specific furniture. Even if I came away with nothing I would recommend coming here just for the pleasant experience I had meeting and conversing with Anne! It is a hidden gem!!!

DeFrens is an incredible discovery. Chock full of beautiful and interesting pieces. Anne Vasey was very helpful and willing to negotiate price (not to mention simply being a lovely person)We bought a spectacular set of Brutalist furniture which was SO much more interesting than anything we had seen anywhere else.I will visit often as this place is full of hidden treasures.When we went to pick up our pieces two days later much of what had been in the store had been sold and new things were already coming in.Highly recommend!

Amazing products from France ! They have beautiful Art and furniture. They also have design workshops.Today it was a Hands-on Floral design workshop . Under the masterful expertise of Anne , everyone created beautiful arrangements for their home in artful surroundings treated with French pastries, fruit and Champaign !!!

It’s so hard to find unique presents for friends, family and colleagues. I LOVE DeFrens because everything I’ve gotten there has been so well received. The ladies are incredibly helpful and enjoyable.

New little gem of a store located just off Thousand Oaks Blvd, filled with hidden treasures to compliment any home. Surprisingly, the French theme also provides a flair for the finer delectables in life, and for those with a strong sense of fashion, this store delivers with a colorful and stunning collection of fabulous accessories.

A great consignment furniture store plus so much more. The best in French jams, biscuits and mustards. Lovely and unique household items, too. I bought beautiful wooden jam and cheese spreaders. New items coming in all the time. They have jewelry now from estate sales as well as new pieces. The handbags are gorgeous. They even sold three of my furniture pieces! Fatiha, Isabelle and Michelle make it all seamless and beautiful. Totally recommend taking a look for yourself.
