Fun place with all kinds of things. Toys, food, kitchenware, etc. Wifey loved finding Hello Kitty gear. Fun place, biggest knock is having trouble interpreting price tags.

I had a hard time figuring out how much things cost against their pricing schedule so I had to ask for help. Their staff is very friendly and informed me that no price tag/indication means it's $1.75. I wish it was clearer on the packaging because every item you pick up, there's a number written on it which makes you think you need to convert it. I had them show me an example to tell me what's what so I was clear - there will be a red/orange sticker on the item to trigger the price lookup. I've never had this problem with the other locations I've visited in the past. Also, I thought this store would be a little bigger coming from the outside. I've been to the one in Northridge, CA and Carrollton, TX and they are pretty huge so I was expecting the same setup.Overall, I'm glad that this store is in our neighborhood albeit small, it still carries a varety of items. I looked all around and landed on my favorite aisles: stationary and arts & crafts. They carry a lot of items and I was able to find everything quickly so I'm coming back for a bigger shopping haul. Everything adds up fast but it's fun and you get a variety of goods for cheap so it's a win win.

I love this store. So many goodies as well as useful little tools, containers, make up tools, snacks and drinks, dish wares, and affordable. So affordable you might buy too much. Lots of stocking stuffer / gift exchange ideas too!

I love that this area now has a Daiso!! I only wish they had matcha powder, which is surprisingly hard to find in this area outside grocery stores (which usually is limited and not the best quality). I did see other matcha products and teabags. The store was clean, employees were friendly, and many options to check out. Overall prices were pretty good too. I can wait to come back.

This store has a lot of Japanese products at a reasonable price. I always look forward to going to one because they get new things a lot.

I've been looking forward towards this new Daiso location for a very long time now and was ecstatic when it finally opened! Throughout the first weeks, I've been here too many times to count. Top tier items that are affordable and good quality! 100% would recommend

I saw they opened a few weeks ago. I usually go to the Northridge store. But I had to check out this place. Not too far from the house. Save a few bucks on The drive up there. I like the store and will beBack in the near future.

Grand opening today. Awesome little place. Everybody was having fun checking out. All the Japanese goodies. Kind of like a Japanese dollar store. Definitely worth checking out.

We love this place! Not quite Ventura County yet but at least we don’t have to go as far as, Northridge, Los Angeles, or Santa Monica locations to get our useful goodies at great prices. You’ll be amazed what you’ll find in Daiso stores and how useful the items are, and how they make life easier. We have been visiting many of their locations in Northern/Southern California and each have many awesome & different gadgets. You can gift all your friends stuff they didn’t even ask for and it won’t hurt your bank account. Thanks again Daiso!! We are waiting for a Ventura County Location.☺️??????❤️✝️❤️??????☺️

It's very clean in there and a lot of selection, picked out some stationary goods. Check it out if you're in the westlake village! Also support Azuki Tea House next door, they have great boba drinks :)

So happy that we finally have a Daiso in Ventura County! If you've never been to Daiso, it's an international discount store that sells cute, Japanese products for a reasonable price.I always enjoyed walking around the store to look at all the cute things they had including stationery, housewares, organizers, arts and crafts supplies, gifts, and snacks! And they also sell seasonal products like Halloween products, Christmas, spring/cherry blossoms, etc. I always get my decor here whenever I wanted to decorate my home or office. The shelves were well stocked, clean and organized. They have baskets for you to use while you shop. Don't forget to bring your own reusable bag or buy one of their reusable tote bags so you don't have to pay for a paper bag!Staff was friendly and I think the location was perfect. You can go get boba, eat, or shop at Trader Joe's once you're done shopping. Lots of parking in the plaza. Can't wait to come back and buy more cute things!

Do all items sold ostentatiously (Daiso)? This is the 1st time I found out that Daiso is finally arrived here in my neighborhood!I have been following Daiso for a long time in different cities always hoping it may come to my hood. So, this is my first excursion in this location, and hope, to see more cute stuffs. So far so good.Cashiers are courteous & friendly.Price per item varied between $1.75 to around $10.Many cute items when you find them. Buy them or they may be gone on your next visit.Enjoy shopping...

Went in grand opening day (but jn the afternoon)! I was pretty surprised that it wasn't packed, but I guess it comes with a territory. Which in this case was a good thing a because I am assuming a lot of people from Westlake Village don't know what Daiso is :)I personally was really excited about this store and have been waiting for quite a while. The store still had a lot of people, but not crowded. Tiles were full and it was nice seeing items that were both familiar and new from visiting other stores in LA. (No vacuum sealed corn friends lol) They had the quintessential storage boxes, houseware items and snacks and prices ranged from $1. $75-$16. And while they need more signage for the conversion rates as the prices were in yen, I thought it was pretty easy to navigate the store.I love that there was a self check out option and will definitely be back soon.
