I know that this isn't actually review, but still needs to be address regardless.Today, just tried to tell a mother to use mother's room instead of lounge. When I was about sit and relax. Got excuse me instead of that.Tell, you the truth this has happened before when a mother was changing her baby's diaper as well.This also includes for young parent/s to actually find elevator instead of just using escalator. By, the way this also includes ramps and/or staircases.Having actually person/s laying on a bench and taking it over as well.Non native not/understanding English thinking that family restroom is actually thinking that it's their restroom as well.

Store has been remodeled and is beautiful. So glad to have it in Thousand Oaks. Nordstrom has a fresh look and feel.

Had so much fun getting color matched by one of the sales representatives who worked for Laura Mercier. We needed to restock on some Tom Ford foundation sticks and he came over and was willing to help us out! I wish I got his name, but he had on chains and wore a fisherman's cap. He was very nice and gentle with my skin. He really took his time. I've always used 2.0 Buff but he switched me over to 1.3 Nude Ivory and I couldn't be happier. Thanks so much, I appreciate it! :)

Great experience at this location today. Costumer service was very helpful with Sarah's perfume recommendations and Pricillas welcoming energy. Pricilla spent more one on one time to help recommend great makeup products based off my skin tone as well. Loved her !!

I was in the perfume section and I was helped by a kind lady who was very attentive. Her name is Pricilla. Pricilla did her very best and went above and beyond to make sure that my purchase was a successful one and super kind with her suggestions I recommend going to her for anyone who needs help with their perfume selection. Experience has been great with Pricilla and I hope to see you again!!

I was just racial profiled at this store. I was approached and asked if I would like to cash out what I was holding or place my items at the register. All I was doing was walking around the store pushing my baby in a stroller and holding items while my wife continues shopping. What kind of good practice is for a business to ask someone to pay for what they are holding. Red head employee. Not worth even asking for her name. Worse part even after I paid the woman stayed close and my wife noticed she was still staring at me while leaving.This is unacceptable behavior from a business in 2023. Do better.

Went to this Nordstrom to do some last minute Christmas shopping.....OMG! What happened!!! Why would you schedule a remodeling during the holidays! The departments were depleted of inventory.Some departments didn't even exist!!Poor planning on their part! Service, if you could get someone, was very good! This is not the company of the past!! I always held Nordstrom to a higher level, but not any more. I don't know if because of the pandemic or perhaps people don't want to shop in a brick and mortar store! Wow, it'll be a long time before I return to this store!

I absolutely love shopping at Nordstrom because I know they really value their customers and can be trusted to stand behind their products. Service can be spotty but a huge shout out to Carmen in shoes who is a friendly and dependable manager who goes the extra mile. I believe they carry some really great brands and products and they have something for every budget. This store is much smaller than topanga and seems to be under renovation a lot. If you know what you're getting into you won't be disappointed.

Had another excellent experience yesterday in both the shoe dept and cosmetics . Exceptional customer /sales relationships keeps me coming back . I met Erika she's the Manager of the perfume/scent dept , she's terrific! Very knowledgeable about the brands, scent notes , products she's offering promotions . Super easy to talk to and we found out we are neighbors . Nice ! In the shoe dept I don't remember the young man's name but he was terrific, said it was his second week. Very personable had a lot of nice things to say about his coworkers and even one jumped into help at the register . One of the easiest shopping experiences of late, and was mostly Christmas shopping for others . I Did treat myselfto a killer pair of Nordstrom brand lug sole burgundy leather booties in shoe dept for practically nothing ! Thanks for all of your help and much peace & success to you all this holiday season!

I'm specifically reviewing the shoe department.My daughter, who is 15, had to attend an event that required her to wear heeled shoes (specifically in white or nude color). We visited a few other stores including Macys in the same mall and didn't find anything that could work.I think the biggest difference between Nordstrom versus other stores is the service. Once we connected with our sales associate( Leanne), she made everything super easy...she asked my daughter what she was looking for and the requirements for these shoes; the biggest being " comfort and not too high heeled" according to my daughter. The associate provided many options and I felt like she listed to my daughter and ultimately was very attentive and empathetic.One forgets what good service feels like until you get it! My daughter proclaimed she never wants to go to another shoe store! Lol!The only down side, while they don't have the most famous designer brands...it's not a discount shoe store. You get what you pay for and the comfort my daughter had with the entire experience was worth the price at least for me. We went to a total of 5 other stores...I'm sure you can imagine the time wasted and frustration.I have to lookout for the next time my daughter needs shoes...cause I know we'll be back to Nordstrom and it's going to cost me! Lol
