Extremely disappointed in this company. My in laws used them for their vinyl flooring. 1 year later and the entire floor is dimpling . The owner, Alex, came out before the holidays and told us he’d fix it. It’s been 3 months and since then crickets. After multiple calls, emails and text we’ve received no response. So I’m unfortunately resorting to leaving a negative review which I don’t like doing. Please call us and make this right.

Alex Garcia is a terrific owner. We've used him for over 10 years now. He talks in an honest, straightforward way. He provided us multiple options and pricing based on our immediate and long term needs.

Horrible installation!!!! Bad seams, metal under foot and carpet coming up on stairs from day one!! To ANYONE looking to install new flooring in your home or office, I HIGHLY SUGGEST YOU DO NOT USE CARPETYME. They did a terrible installation and you can never get a hold of anyone. The owner Alex Garcia promised to fix or replace the carpet they horribly installed, but he gave me the run around and evaded my calls. On top of this, he charged my credit card without my authorization for the final payment, and the job is still incomplete (months later). I write this to help save others the stress and money for a horrible job! It is such a shame as they have been a fixture on Thousand Oaks Boulevard for over 40 years – the new owner Alex has dredged mud all over what was a wonderful, family-operated business. Be forewarned!!!! Go to Flooring 101. They are very helpful and you can get a hold of them. I made the wrong choice. Don’t make the same mistake.

Alex at Carpet Tyme was so kind and helpful. We had them cut and bind some rugs for us and they did a perfect job! I cannot recommend them enough

Stopped by in June and spoke with Alex. He showed us carpet samples and we took a few home. Alex came by to a few days later to measure. He called backed the next day and left a message. Called him back two weeks in a row and never heard back. Terrible business ethic and a waste of our time. Avoid. This falls under the if I could leave no stars category

I originally had Alex install some beautiful carpet on our second floor of our home in Agoura Hills. His crew did an amazing job and we received many compliments on the carpeting over the years. Flash forward three years and we are now in the process of selling the home after 35 years. The carpet has held up well, still looks beautiful, but a couple wrinkles in the hall and middle bedroom have arisen in the past couple months. Nothing major but noticeable. Since we will be showing the house I wanted to get it “tightened up”. I called Alex fully expecting a charge to do this. Alex not only remembered me, and our house but he also said he would send a couple of his guys to tighten up the carpet at no fee. The work was done today and it looks as amazing as day one! Alex is one of those rare businessmen who truly take pride in whatever service they provide and also knows the value of satisfied customers. I would highly recommend Alex and Carpet Tyme to anyone in the market for flooring in their home. Thanks again so much, Alex!

I originally had some beautiful carpet installed about three years ago on the second floor of my house in Agoura Hills. Alex and his crew were great to work with and they did a wonderful job. We received many compliments on the carpet. Flash forward three years and we now are selling our house after 35 years. Since the install three years ago the carpet has held up well other than a couple wrinkles in the hall and one of the bedrooms, nothing major but noticeable. I called Alex to hire him to "tighten" it up. Not only did Alex remember me and our house, but he also said he would send a couple guys out to take care of it. A man of his word, we had the carpet tightened up today and it looks as good as the first day it was installed! And Alex didn't charge us a cent! In this day and age it is really nice to do business with a man who knows the value of good customer relations and also takes pride in the quality of his business! I would highly recommend Carpet Tyme to anyone looking for flooring in their home. Thank you and your crew again very much Alex!

Alex and his team at Carpet Tyme could not have been more professional and accommodating. Alex help me chose the perfect carpet (which I did not even think I wanted). He was right, the result is a beautiful, high quality, at a great price carpet. Highly recommend.

Alex was so great to work with @ Carpet Tyme! I got the exact carpet I saw elsewhere for a MUCH better price. He was always so easy to communicate with, got the carpet ordered quickly and installed soon after. The installers were fabulous! Very careful of everything in the house, moved furniture and were so friendly and respectful! We have used Carpet Tyme many times over the years for different projects and couldn't be happier again!

Alex Garcia did me a solid in cutting down (resizing) a beautiful area rug to properly fit in my mom's entryway with a color matched border finish that looks clean and tailored. He went above and beyond to assist me for this custom request and will most definitely recommend his great customer service to others.

I dropped in at the store one day a couple of weeks ago and had a nice conversation with Alex. I learned some things and was eager to pick a carpet that I liked and go ahead. Since that first day I have not been able to reach him. I came back to the store, left a couple of messages during business hours and the last time I called the message said that the caller had not set up voice mail. I'm sure he's busy, but that's not the way to get my business. Disappointed to say the least!

Allen came to my house on Benson Way for an estimate and never came back or returned my calls. Very disappointed in him. Will never recommend or use him!
