Worst bank ever. They play with our money and place extra lengthy holds on only certain checks of their choosing . They asked why 3 out of the 4 checks cleared and were available immediately but one was not. They said it was out of the kindness of their institution. But when I asked for the last check to be available the said no it needed to be placed on a 10day hold. Most checks in the past either were available immediately or in 3 days so why a 10 day hold. The managers reason " the people.in the back decide which check they want to put a hold on". Be aware they are playing with your money. They dont care about you being a customer or that it is OUR money not theirs.Be careful. Dont do business with them.

Worst bank ever. Do not bank here. They closed my moms account without any notice during COVID then sent a check for the amount. We had no option other than going several locations many times to try to get her money back because they wouldn’t cash it for me even though it was a joint account. I have to work and banks close early due to Covid-19 and Saturdays and still hasn’t able to get her money back. I recommended going to chase or Wells Fargo this is the worst bank I would never do businesses with them again.

This Bank of America has very nice employees. Sanj, is an outstanding manger, who overlooks everything, to make sure all details are in order and correct. Cameron was really nice and welcoming. However, the BofA operator said he was suppose to help me with the online and app. They promised me that the vault door, which was open, would normally be closed as well.

I personally don't like Bofa. However, I need to have an account here for circumstances. Banker's name is Sanj who assisted me. He was able to help me very much. Only reason for the 5 stars is him... Highly recommend asking for him if your going to open an account or have any questions!!!

The lack of customer service has finally driven me to look for a new bank, after 23 years with Bank of America. I took a heavy bag of coins to the Oaks Mall Branch, like I did 5 months ago, to be sent to their location for counting and deposit. I was told flatly that the policy changed in 12/18, and that they would not do it for me. I said that I had done it 5 months ago, and was asked who I worked with on that (Really? Like I would recall that person, since they switch Tellers frequently?). I was also asked if it was personal or for a business. (So - they would have done it for me, if I owned a business?). The Manager was not there to speak with (of course), so the other Teller suggested I try another Branch - really? What this comes down to is that BofA does not care about serving the needs of individual retail clients, and has not for some time. They would not take US currency from me to deposit - plain and simple - while they did this for me 5 months ago? It's not like I am a coin collector that comes in weekly to turn around coins - this is just a more realistic means of depositing the money - than getting ripped off by Coinstar at Von's or Ralphs. I am not a political person, but maybe Elizabeth Warren is right - the banks are too big, and do not care about individuals - unless - you want a mortgage, car loan, or something where they make gobs of money. BofA serves their shareholders well, but not their customers. You stick my coins in a bag, ship them to your central location with other cash that needs to be moved, put them in a coin counter, and then enter the amount as a deposit from the enclosed form. Is that so hard? So costly, that you cannot serve your clients, while you make money on their money every day? Shame on you, Bank of America. After 23 years, I am now looking for a friendlier bank. For anyone else looking for a new bank - try another bank.

The manager "Annette" has the Worst customer service ever, she needs a course on how to treat people and that goes for the tellers in the front too. Lora mootz the relationship manager is the only person in the building who cares about the people who come into this bank.

worst bank. I only come here because of work and i really wish there was a different branch we could go to. There's never a good time to come because they lack staff so there's 100% chance there's always a long line of people. the clerks are okay, the boys are nice, and the lady with the fancy nails is good to talk to, but ivelina has an awful attitude and I see right through her "happy to help you" schpele. Plus I've received incorrect change more than once and the other employees sitting in the lobby are no help. Just close this place down tbh.

No matter which B of A location I use, it's always the same story. Most of the time, there is a problem with the ATM. Last time, it was unable to accept the checks I tried to deposit. Then I had the pleasure of going into the branch, where I waited in line for about 20 minutes, while the one teller on duty tried to accommodate the 10 people in line. Time to find another bank.

Hopefully my last whine of the year. I have a free Bank of America e-checking account, I needed to withdraw $2,500 cash & the atm only gives $300 at a time with $300 max per day. I walked into the branch and withdrew $2,500 at which time they told me about a $10 fee but then graciously agreed to waive the fee after asking me what they could do to earn my business from Wells Fargo I replied, you could start by not charging me $10 to access my money. I looked at the account today and Bank of America charged me $6.73 for the privilege of touching my own money, I called the Bank of America Corporate Center to ask why, they told me that I should have gone to multiple ATM's until I reached the $2,500 Well if that's the case then why was that option not afforded to me? Instead the Bank of America Thousand Oaks manager lied to my face then let Bank of America Corporation charge me for accessing my own money. They also charge $5 to replace their cheaply made ATM cards & autopay overdraft payments requested by computers, then rescind the money, wait 24hrs to notify you about it, let you deposit the funds then swipe a $30 fee for overdraft charge & $30 rescind fee then do it all again at midnight. Bank of America Plaza (Charlotte) is Evil and they are crooks! I don't have to tell you, just look at a check from Bank of America, 666 is right on the check, on all checks.

I stood in line for 25 minutes w someone coming up to each person trying to get them to use the ATM. Each and every person in front of me had a reason to be in line!!!! None of the banking could be done by ATM. Ok I understand it takes time that's fair. I get to the teller and he says "I can't cash the check". The check is from an Attorney so my heart drops thinking something is drastically wrong. I say why??? Are the funds not there? He says "no you don't have an account". I say May I speak to a manager please? Maita Avila is the assistant manager and is clearly flustered and says "I can't cash the check" I say "Why?" She repeats because I don't have an account at BofA. I again say that the person whose account it is who wrote the check is the customer, I'm the payee and there is no law that as the payee I have to have an account. We went back and forth for probably 3-4 minutes and this was. Wet embarrassing as the line at this point was about 12 people deep. After much adu about nothing she says come back Friday. Today is Monday so I'm confounded about what day to do the banking. Again we go back and forth and by this time EVERYONE is embarrassed. Now she says something about a shipment. That they don't have the CASH to cash the check!!! So I say if the person who wrote the check came in could they get their money out and she said "yes". Ok. So I don't work for BofA but I'm assuming that she could have just said"I'm so sorry please forgive us but we don't have enough cash at hand right now. You can go to another branch or try back Friday". Where is the training at BofA that this can be an assistant manager and she can tell me that she can't cash a BofA check because I don't have an account????

Worst banking customer service. Everyone is rude and they do not put their customers first. So happy I closed my account with this bank.

Wildly understaffed. I've never seen anyone run the business window. Which is especially ridiculous considering most of the banking activity is from the local businesses in the Oaks Mall. Also, they consistently leave the business queue open. Block off that aisle so people don't line up there for no reason.
