Can you give less than one star? They chased us out of the store when we tried to ask a question regarding a keyboard that we went to buy. They found it highly inconvenient that we asked and disrupted their day. Not one but two members of staff were rude to us. I'm sure they don't care where we make our purchase but it will never ever be the thousand oaks apple store again.

My mac needed repair. The people at the genius bar were friendly and helpful. The repairs were completed and I'm satisfied.

try not to go to this store, Wokies here got spoiled by the locals too much, if they burned your battery during repair, they will hold your device and force you to trade in the damaged phone, if you decline u will walk out of this store empty handed, because they afraid of you suing them using the phone as the evidence, and take every possible advantage of you if they smell any. Those tech and sales teams are worse than ppl in dealerships. Good luck sitting there hours just for them to come out with a “result” for you, well trained employees.speaking from personal experience ????

Traveled 15 miles to the Apple Store at the Oaks Mall to ask a rather important question .With the new iPhone software 17.3 update, there is a feature that has been discussed in various media that is a major security feature update. So I asked the question to an employee and she did not know what I was talking about, amazing, is this “new school”?She searched on her phone for an answer, and then instructed me to call the “Apple Help Line”. Well if that is the case, why do we need an Apple Store? So I left the store, then came back to ask someone else. He was extremely helpful and explained it in about 90 seconds. The bottom line here is a corporation or in this case a store, “a chain is only as strong as its weakest link”. If the late Steve Jobs, co-founder of Apple, was still alive and “shopping” this store, she would have been terminated her on the spot.

Top Notch support and service when I need anything. Please find Betty in sales (she’s in sales at the table of air pod tips and such) or anyone in service.Make an appt first and arrive 5 mins early.Just park at the mid most lot or enjoy a walk past the 99 shops to get there. Certainly worth the trip!

Arrogant and obnoxious staff. The store is expected to be busy during the holiday season, but the staff should still respect the customers. 20+ year Apple customer. Time to move on.

Needed to upgrade our iPhone and showed up on a Friday about 1:30 in the afternoon. Signed up on the wait list and told about a half hour for service, all employees were helping customers. Pretty busy. About 15 minutes latter started the process. 20 minutes latter we were out the door with new updated phone. Be sure you and your phone are ready for the process to make it go smoothly. Great job.

Entitled/Lazy? Either way consistently terrible customer service. "Getting out"- oriented mentality. This is the third or fourth time I've come to the store to buy something, probably the fifth or sixth time to get help +/- buy (last 2-3 yrs). The store never has time to help you. i've been with Apple since the very beginning, and I've never run into something like this... the cool, funky of Apple is long gone and people are needing to get home to their glasses of Merlot, cat and TV.I've started using other locations but don't always have time to drive out of town. I have an unusual schedule which is not predictable and I cannot schedule a Genius Bar appointment simply to *buy a new iphone*!! [and I don't think that is necessary to buy something from the store ... Yes, I made it very clear that I was here to buy an iPhone] Isn't that what you are here for, to sell things? Maybe even HELP your customers?? ) I simply wanted to buy an iPhone, the model of which *I* know (but they do not). i've driven to the mall with my tight schedule arriving at the store and I walked into the store 21 min before closing. Instead of being met by a helpful (let alone pleasant?) sales person, I am met by "Ame" (maybe rest of her name was scratched off her badge)... somewhat perturbed, sounding annoyed that I have a showed up Ame asks me *what I want*? I tell her that I would just like to buy an iPhone. She tells me that it's 19 minutes before closing (been standing there for a few minutes already) and they are having THE only two last associated selling [last?!] phones". Isn't just simply making a sale, the easiest thing in the world to do with Apple? There are 8 emplyees stand around.Apple have you become too big for your britches or is this just a problem with the Apple store at the struggling Oaks mall??I'm Going to Santa Monica or Simi next time.Entitled/Lazy? Yes. I sat on a lovely couch here at the Oaks. I waited 15 minutes --(just to watch the situation unfold— yes I am being pissy and trite— sue me, I'm human. Bit this same story is retold in different forms at this location over and over— I'm sure I'm not the only one. There are EIGHT Managers, associates, sales people etc (does the customer really care what your level of rank is?) ...standing around doing nothing for the last 30 minutes!! Yes, at 10 minutes past the hour their doors are still open with no customers!maybe back in the day when Apple first came out it was cool to be working at the Apple store... but folks those days are gone and you have to just do your work, and do it well. Try.

More than 40 minutes i have waited for an iPhone. that is really ridiculous. I was really disappointed with there service. it's one of the best company and just to buy a phone that much of wait. I can buy a phone from Best buy in just 10 minutes. I'm really angry about them.

Did not have a good experience last time I went there. It is really not managed efficiently whether you make an appointment or not. What would have been 10 minutes anywhere else took over two hours there with no resolution. Also, they have some questionable security policy: taking my unlocked phone in the back and doing a diagnostic without my consent, not a great practice...

Went in to pick up my iPhone 15 with an appointment scheduled ahead of time, associate at check in let me know it would be abt a 10 minute wait as I was “first in line for pick ups”, not too bad. As I’m in the store no one checks in on me and what was supposed to be 10 minutes turned into an hour and a half of waiting… to PICK UP a phone.. that was fully purchased beforehand… no setup help needed… just a pick up. An interaction that took genuinely all of 2 minutes for an hour and a half wait on an appointment. Oh, but after an hour of my wait time a lady with a FUPA barges into the store refusing to wait in line or sign in, and is being rude to the associates over an exchange she needed to make. And magically, she somehow gets helped… on the spot. I wait an hour and half to have someone grab my phone from the back and scan it out, and it probably would’ve been a longer wait time for me as I was only helped because one of the associates acknowledged the situation and took the initiative to help me (big shout out to him) yet some lady comes in being disrespectful and staff helps her out attentively and quickly?? Bad experience for what was supposed to be an exciting experience.
