We visited last year it was more fun in this year, the owner doesn’t like any body she is uncomfortable with any one. This is a farm you need to try what you will buy but the owner doesn’t let you. By the way is very expensive too!

Went last year and we did like everything about this farm. Dates are great, Price is decent, very informative in the way they produce dates and farm history, and folks there are AMAZING. Just call them couple days ago to check on their availability this season. Will definitely go back and highly recommend them for anyone who is looking for good produce and significant customer services.

They are very good people and produce superb dates of many varieties, very good prices too, it's like a little oasis , beautiful palm groves. The trees were originally transplants from the Middle East around a hundred years ago, these trees now produce some of the best dates on the planet

Our bike club asked Janice if she would give us an overview of Anderson's family farm and the trials and tribulations of date growing. We spent a very pleasant and informative half hour learning about how much work and water it takes. Very nice folks, great dates, and good prices. Highly recommended!!

Good delocious date.a bit getting pricey.i drove from san diego to anderson, and planning to buy 20 boxez. But the price was so high we left with 4 boxes.

Drove down from La Quinta today, Saturday 1/8. Bought two boxes of super tasty Medjool dates. Janice at the date orchard very nice and had free samples. Definitely go back. Nice to buy from the grower.

If you want fresh dates, this is the place. I found this place on Google maps and decided I would check it out on my way to the salton sea. The woman that helped me was extremely kind and showed me many different varieties grown here and told me about how her family had been growing dates for over 100 years. I walked away with a 19lb box for an incredible price. I will be recommending this place to my family as well as anyone looking for dates!

We purchased two boxes of the 11 lbs Mejdool dates and 3 boxes of the 5 lbs Mejdool dates. The 5 lbs size boxes were in fresh and in perfect condition; however, the 11lbs size date were a total disappointment. The boxes contained three qualities of dates; the top layer were fresh and from this years harvest; the other two third were dry or last year harvest. For those who go to these farms know, one can freeze these dates and can last over a year and taste as fresh as the current harvest. The price for the 5 lbs was $25 and the 11 lbs was $35; all were presented as similar quality; they were not. We travel over 90 miles from San Diego or Temecula to get fresh and current harvest; we are willing to pay the price, but, not to be cheated in such a manor; we have been buying from Anderson for over 30 years, but, never expected such unethical treatment! If we were living close to Indio, we would have returned this 11lbs boxes. Price them by quality, but, don't mix and present the fresh dates at the top. This is unethical behavior. We give 5 stars for the 5 lbs and 0 star rating for the 11 lbs size box.

I don't recommend this place, don't waste your gas and time by coming here, you will not be able even to taste what you are going to buy!!We are disappointed by what we bought.
