This was our first visit here with our parrot Jimmy. The Vet was professional and took time to know Jimmy's history, prior care and about us. We were totally impressed with the friendliness of the entire staff. The office was pleasant and clean. Our first impression was excellent and we look forward to continue his care here.

We had an appointment set up for our cat for Spay that we waited a month for. We had her dropped off by my mother, in which I reached out to VCA beforehand to give them the heads up she was dropping her off and also she speaks Spanish. They mentioned it wasn't an issue at all, they have someone who can speak Spanish with her.Later in the day I picked her up for a successful surgery and they tell me she's also been chipped. I was thrown off and reviewed with my mother and wife and no where did anyone request this.We did not request this and feel taken advantage of because they also charged us for this, of course, and to remove it would take an invasive surgery and would cost us more money.Over the phone, they mentioned "If the cat is not chipped, they will just go ahead and chip the cat" and the constant "Why why why" for not wanting her chipped, that's not their concern! If we wanted it, we'll ask for it or why not ask us first! Why did they not mention this to my mother when she dropped her off? Without our consent for our cat to be stuck with a giant needle in their back? And there's nothing we can do now. Unbelievable. Clear communication could have prevented this.

I blame VCA and Dr. Nasser for the death of my pet. They don't care about animals only running tests and giving vague explanations. They don't take the time to actually figure out what is the matter. They are just about money. If you care about you pet then don't bring them here as they will not properly diagnose anything. This place neglected to properly diagnose my pet and as a result death occurred. I cry everyday and it's been months. I have depression and horrible anxiety. I am going to file a complaint.

It saddens me to leave this review since I've always liked this hospital, but I was so disturbed with what happened today I feel compelled to write this.I've been coming to this hospital for many years. This is the hospital I brought my dog (before she passed away) and now where my wife and I bring our 2 kittens. Our kittens had their spay and neuter surgery today. A month ago, we were told Dr. Pavlik would be the one performing the surgery. We had never met him, so we scheduled a call so that we could feel more comfortable about entrusting our pets' health and well-being in his care. He spent time on the phone addressing all our concerns, and we also learned he has over 30 years experience. My wife and I felt reassured and comfortable moving forward. We find out today (after the surgery has already been completed) that a new and inexperienced vet was the one who performed the surgery. Not Dr. Pavlik. I couldn't believe it. My wife and I agreed to an experienced doctor whom we trust to perform the surgery. Dr. Pavlik said he supervised but that is not the same. Had we known it was going to be an inexperienced doctor, we would've looked elsewhere, even if it meant for a higher price. We weren't even given the courtesy to be notified our vet would be changing.I wanted to just let it go because I always had a good experience with the hospital, and I did my best to write this review in a neutral tone, but what happened today was so extremely disappointing. They said the office manager will call us on Monday but at this point I don't even know what they could say to make things right.

Staff are rude, I couldnt plug in credit care correctly and she was like “is there anything else you don’t know how to do” and they looked very unhappy. And the shadey rude snarky ‘jokes’ theyd make.

I have loved this place for the past 25 years with all of our pets taken well care of. Unfortunately, we have to move on because it was very disappointing to hear that I could only get an appointment on August 22 (7-8 weeks away). I called a few months ago and same thing. I don’t feel like my years of service was rewarded in any way and it is more than a little frustrating.

After our last vet completely traumatized our family's 2 year old German Shepherd, we were skeptical and nervous to say the least. But so thrilled that we took the chance to come here to see Dr. Joni Nasser. She and her team were so kind and understanding even when our pup was barking and scared. She remained calm and encouraging and was able to get him calm enough to administer his vaccines. She was also very helpful in guiding us to help our pup when he was stressed and anxious. I really appreciate her and her team for working with us and we look forward to seeing them again! Making an appointment was also pretty straightforward through their website.

This is the 2nd time they canceled their appointment on the same day after several emails confirming it. I understand that thing happens but 2 times in a row is a bit much. My baby needs care and deserves to receive the care. If they would have let me know in advance, I could go to another Vet until of rescheduling then to have it reschedule again. Hopefully this is the last time.

I have always bring my little dog here for her anual check ups and vaccines, also she has to have her anal glands express every couple of months with the technician, always had excellent service until this year that I tried to make an appointment for her anal gland express and was told that she needed her anual exam in order to get that service, since I'm having financial difficulties I had to take my dog to get the anual exam at vetco for free and then I called back to VCA to schedule an appointment for the anal gland express and I was told that they will have to do the exam at vca ,I told them I can bring the print out of the exam, but what is important for vca is the money they will get for the exam, this place is about MONEY they don't care about the animals, terrible. No compassion. To bad this place changed ownership.Ripp off VCA.No kind hearts in here.I will never refer nobody to this place.Terrible experience that's not what we had in the past in this establishment.I don't know who this business manager is that is responding but like I said before "I took my dog to vetco to get the exam for free and I told VCA that I will bring the exam record to vca but that's not enough they want to do the exam their self to charge, VCA doesn't care about your pet only about the MONEY.

I too like Brandy have been taking my animals here for years. But their care has lost its shine. Disappointing!

Yea, we've been taking our pets here for years and now I want to find a new vet. They have too many clients apparently. They won't see your pet for 3-4 weeks, the other option is you can drop your pet off in the morning and they will keep it all day which I am totally not comfortable with. It's been this way for probably a couple years or so and I'm over it.As a long time client even I cannot recommend this place, there has to be something better out there.

I called to see if they could see my dog who had an urgent injury. The staff told me they would not be able to see her for 2 weeks. I was told to take her to urgent or emergency care instead. I took her to emergency care and they would not see her because they had too many animals who had more urgent needs waiting. I got the same response at urgent care. I have been taking my animals to VCA Community Companion Animal Hospital for 10 years and have spent several thousands of dollars there. I won't be taking my animals there ever again. The staff are rude and take an "oh well" attitude with clients. It would seem that the hospital really doesn't care about the animals who come there for care.

Brought my dog in for an emergency on a Sunday morning. The attending doctor would not see her. Their excuse was they were booked. Where is the compassion and ethics at this Doctor and hospital for a dog that may have to be euthanized!
