!!!DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE!!! If I could give no stars I would. This place is absolutely horrendous!! The vet literally traumatized my dog!! They grabbed my dog, got in her face, and wouldn’t give her any space when she was clearly panicked… they took her temperature wrong, injuring her in the process giving no other apology other than “oh whoops!”. She the appointment to look at something in her mouth and the best thing they decided to do? Muzzle her! This place is a joke! Do NOT take your animal here no matter what!! She is usually a happy dog and coming from this place she is so jumpy and scared of anyone touching her/standing over her. She is just a puppy and one interaction with these “vets” traumatized her so bad. To top it off they tried to charge us $1600 for this!! They said X-rays and putting her to sleep was the only option for this. What a liar!! How can you call yourself a vet when you treat animals like this?!! Unacceptable!! I hope that everyone wondering if they should come here sees this to avoid traumatizing their pet, having their time completely wasted, and spending a ridiculous amount of money for this so called “vet” to do a quick glance and slap your pet around for a quick grab at your money. No compassion!! NOT fear-free!! STAY AWAY everyone!!!

Kind and compassionate! They are super nice and caring and take excellent care of you! You’re not just another number to them!We needed help with export papers for my elderly dads cat, and not only did they take care of the problem, but they didn’t charge us an arm and a leg like other vets wanted to!We will forever be grateful!Thank you Tiffany and Thank you Dr. Runion❣️?

Dr. Siringo has been amazing with our cats. Very personable/ thorough with us and our cats. We never feel rushed or pressured to do any unnecessary tests/ procedures. 100% recomme d him. And the office staff and vet techs have always been friendly and helpful as well.

I absolutely love being part of the VCA Veterinary Family! I have a breed of dog that needs extra space, a gentle approach and patience. We receive all that plus fantastic care at VCA El Rancho. The vet tech's approach my dog with a gentle touch and patience, which we both appreciate. Dr. Runion and Dr. Siringo are amazing with my guy, they always have a calming demeanor with my little guy and offer the best advice. They take their time with us, move slowly with him and take great care of us. Hailey, Tyler and Morgan are sure to take their time with my guy and he has grown to trust and love them. Which puts me at ease and allows for my guy to have a good visit. Tiffany usually greets us at the lobby check in and she always has a smile on and is so friendly. And I absolutely love that VCA offers touch-less payment. They send a link via text and I pay from there. My paperwork and receipt are emailed to me and loaded into my VCA app portal. Easy and seamless! The Hospital Manager suggested we do "Pawsitive" visits which allow us to stop by and say hello to everyone without it being an actual vet visit appointment. No poking and prodding means no stress to my guy. He just gets to stop in for a 'hello', some love and a cookie. I wouldn't go anywhere else!! We have found our forever Veterinarian Family!!

I had a bad experience at this vet clinic. I came here on the weekend because my regular vet was closed. The vet himself was very kind but did not correctly diagnose my cat. The vet tech dropped my cat(who couldn't walk) onto the scale. When they brought her back from her tests she was drenched in alcohol from her chin to her stomach to the point where it was burning both our noses and eyes. I have never had a cat come back from bloodwork like that. They prices for the bloodwork, xrays, and medication were very high. When we went back to our regular vet they charged $500 less for the xray and were able to correctly diagnose our cat.

Dr. S is a good vet and I believe he cares about his patients. However, Dr. R is one of the worst vets I have ever met. He takes 90 seconds to "evaluate" your pet and barely listens to what you have to say. The woman at the front desk, Nicole, has no business working at a vet hospital. She is rude, judgmental, and unprofessional. She should really get some training on empathy and work on her emotional intelligence.

I emailed you at this recommended email address and never heard back. I'm not sure why you requested I contact you if there was no intention on making things right.

Sarah and Dr. Saringo are the most wonderful people I have met in an extremely long time. I will never go anywhere else as long as they work here

I was hopeful and after our first visit I was pleased with their honesty. However, I was told that both of my kittens had giardia and when I went back a month later with a stool sample for one of them I was charged $122 for a routine fecal test. I looked it up and the test should cost between $45-60. I'm not sure why I was charged twice the normal amount. I will not be coming back. Also, beware of similar scams at Animal Friends of the Valley. These two groups work together and have both ripped me off.

Another 0 star review. Been taking my dog here for a year with multiple appointments and multiple Pain medication refills. I called after 1 month to refill my dog medication and now they can't find me in there records and I don't exist. They said I never came in . I can't believe this is happening . The worst pet hospital ever!!!!

And the businesses' response ...you get in touch with us. No, actually, VCA El Rancho, take responsibility for the almost $300 butchering DR RUNION did to my dog's foot, the pain he must have inflicted on her and his sheer lack of indifference. Never again

Worst experience ever! The doctor did not take the time to properly evaluate my dog. He had a tooth infection and they decided putting a muzzle on him was the best way to inspect him. Ridiculous! After the evaluation, the doctor said that he needed to be put to sleep and have the tooth removed. He quoted $1, 400. I asked if there was an alternative until I can save up the money to pay for the procedure. He told me no and that this was the only option. I asked if there were antibiotics or anything else that may help, and he said the only thing that will help will be to have the tooth removed. My whole interaction with the vet was less than 2 minutes and he refused to come back to my room to explain anything. Then I had to deal with the receptionist, the whole interaction was just negative. DO NOT BRING YOUR BELOVED PETS HERE!!!!

I’ve been around veterinary clinics my whole life because my mom is a veterinarian, and I’m surprised this location has stayed open this long. The staffs attitude, one woman in particular, was awful & not welcoming in the slightest, and the vets lack of thoroughness was absolutely shocking. The vet talked to me for 2 minutes, didn’t let me ask any questions.. he could barely even examine my dog, told me immediately that my dog needed surgery, took two horrible X-rays photos and that was it…. as I was leaving the parking lot he stops me and asks to take my dog back for another hour! I asked why? He said because the staff was on “lunch” but he wanted a second set of X-rays because theirs were so awful you couldn’t even read them…. only because my mother is a vet and I told them she would be reviewing them along with her Colleagues at her clinic. I came in after 40 minutes because I could hear my dog barking and crying, and I was clearly feeling uncomfortable…. the lady at the front rudely asked if I wanted my dog back as if I was inconveniencing her by checking on my barking/crying dog. After the X-rays were done I took my dog and got the heck out. Horrible experience.. I will NOT be going back. This is not how I want to feel when I’m taking my fur baby to be seen for a medical issue. Do better.
