Cathe is a gem. This store started in 1977, (I believe), in Carlsbad, with the original name of Aphrodite's Closet, and has been serving up timeless Goddess attire ever since. Cathe personally oversees the hand curated collection, which consists of everything from high function, feminine pieces that go with everything, to fully assembled, accessorized looks that make you feel like you're just absolutely fabulous and just walked out of a museum. You would never find these looks or unique pieces anywhere else because Cathe has been putting the store assemblage together for decades with a keen artistic eye. The store inspires and instructs anyone in the mysterious arts of wearing scarves, and large accessories, and takes special pride in serving customers of all ages and sizes.

A beautiful boutique, filled with a fun and eclectic selection of stylish pieces, both clothing and jewelry. I loved it! The owner, Cathy and her beau, Kent, are both friendly and professional, not to mention helpful. And, something I really love is the sizes! My kiddo is super tiny and I always have difficulty finding things that fit her off the rack. This place has so many things in her size! I am so glad I had the opportunity to come here and can't wait to bring my kiddo back! And I love, love, LOVE, the necklace I left with (and I expect to come back many times in the future.) It was sitting on an outfit I loved and it was unique, not a repeat and was just one of many unique pieces!Oh and the shop is so much better than it looks, so walk to the back!

Visited this store yesterday with my sister's in law, while visiting Temecula on vacation. So glad we got to sneak away for some time and visited this store. We all came out with beautiful dresses, all very different styles. Kathy, who worked there, was very helpful and kind. A beautiful store with classy styles.

Super cute clothing. Make sure you watch out for those hidden fees when using a credit card. I was charged over $7 on top of sales tax and city tax. Good business practice would have the shop owner or cashier let people know in advance. A tiny hidden sign doesn't cut it.

The store itself is lovely and they have all the outfits accessorized with jewelry but disappointed in the over charging. I picked out this necklace that had a price of $18.99 on it but when I got to register it was actually $32. They must have forgotten to take away the real suggested retail price before they wrote their own $32 in pen on the back. To not be embarrassed and call them out, I just decided to buy it anyway. When I got home and looked at the receipt I was charged a total of $36.09?! On top of tax there was a non cash adjustment added. Really?! That added insult to injury and I was not told it would be up-charged for using credit like it's a gas station! I can guarantee they paid like $5 for this item. I've worked retail. I will not be coming back. They really should just refund me. Super disappointing.

So disappointed. I was talked into buying something by the salesperson that my family said looks like I was wearing a diaper from the back. No refunds. Very disappointed and out $90.
