The Old Town Soap Company is a Black Owned, Woman Owned & Veteran Owned and Operated company founded in 2012 by United States Navy Veteran Ernestine Brown.
She originally used the art of Soapmaking as a form of psychological therapy while serving on active duty in the military. Upon realizing the powerful effects of her all-natural skincare products and the mental and emotional stability that crafting provides, she decided to share it with the world through her robust brick and mortar retail operation while simultaneously teaching therapeutic workshops such as "Soapmaking for Therapy" at prominent destination Liberty Station, San Diego, California.
