Steve was very attentive to our questions and as first-time home buyers, the process can be scary. Steve and his team put us at ease and guided us every step of the way. The communication was excellent and we felt well cared for and not just another client.

My husband and I can't recommend Steve Tempel and his entire team at Vintage Mortgage enough! We had a nightmare experience with another lender before being referred to Steve by our realtor. There are truly no words to describe the contrast in experiences we had between the two companies and we SO regretted not using Vintage Mortgage to begin with. Their level of professionalism was evident from Day 1, when we received an email containing a personalized short video from Steve, with instructions for signing attached docs; to his assistant contacting me weeks before our potential closing date to alert me of my soon-to-be expired driver's license. We truly felt like valued clients, and so appreciated the constant communication and immediate responses we received anytime we had questions or concerns. Sadly, this has become a rare occurrence in this day and age but apparently it's still the way Vintage Mortgage does business! We intend to tell everyone we know about this top-notch company!

Steve and Marsha Tempel + their entire team, are unbelievable! Steve, chatted with me and took all the information needed to get pre qualified for a 2nd home loan. Closed in 21 days!!!! (it was a highly competitive market and I needed an edge to get the property). They stuck with me through 2 failed offers, and continued to be encouraging. I felt, confident and comfortable working with Steve and Marsha. They were on top of the information the lenders needed, and had me stay ahead of the detailed and tedious lending procedure/paperwork. Steve sent me video, explaining my paperwork and all the (what seems like millions and millions of numbers) numbers $$ on my paperwork. He was always patient and available to answer my questions when I needed him. I've done loans before (3 in the past 5 months) and I wish I had done them all with Steve and team. If you're looking for a lender/broker who is efficient, kind, intelligent, speaks to you with respect and is highly organized.... Steve and Marsha's Vintage Mortgage Team is the one to call. I love how they were so respectful and non- intimidating, easy to speak to, kind, and you know from the way they handled everything from day one, they knew their business!! Stress Free, was something another review said, and I can't agree more!! Stress Free, professional, knowledgeable, respectful and kind.. did I say kind.. Steve Tempel, Marsha Tempel, Heather Gustafson, and Kenny Wooten are the names of the best Mortgage Specialists that the great state of California has to offer. My wife and I had been in the market to purchase a home and/or various rental properties within and without the state and they had specialized products for each of our goals. They provided responses to questions we would ask past the 8 o'clock hour and on several occasions, created personalized videos that went into further detail to explain (in layman's terms), the complex intricacies of property purchases. We searched for over 14 months Vintage Mortgage Professionals was patient and understanding as we continued our trek towards home ownership. We had found several properties that met our needs and had no less than three (separate) scheduled closings. For each property, the financing in place and ready to go. As a matter of fact, Heather called to remind us know that the funds were ready to be disbursed! How often do you have institutions calling you to inform you that they are ready to "put their money where their mouth is?" The reason we did not close the deals was due to the discoveries after the inspections that the seller would not repair or replace, the inspection revealed more concerns that would warrant more than we would want to spend or that the seller simply changed their minds. They took the time to ATTENTIVELY listen to our concerns and skillfully guided us to our home purchase that closed on May 28th (YaY)! If you cannot tell, we heartily endorse, recommend, and laud the organizations that Steve, Marsha, Heather, and Kenny work for. We will tell everyone that is on the hunt for a property to work with Vintage Mortgage Professionals and Finance of America. Steve, Marsha and team were excellent. Seamless, smooth, on track, on time and did everything they said they would do, when they said they would do it. It was the easiest refinance I've ever done. They were extremely knowledgeable, addressed every question we had and gave a clear picture of the end result. No doubt -we got best rates in the market. Can't say enough!!

Steve recently helped me out with my first purchase and everything went super smooth. Steve is such a knowledgeable person, he walked me through every step and even did a video breaking down all the numbers for me and explaining what each section meant. This was a great and stress free process thanks to the Vintage Mortgage Professionals. I would definitely recommend Steve.

Highly Recommend!!! Steve was introduced to me by a long-term friend and realtor and I am absolutely thrilled with the results. Not only did we close our loan in less than 30 days, but we did so remotely. Steve took care to explain the terms, the process, and he had a great team supporting our loan origination and underwriting process and coordination across the board. I will absolutely work with Steve again and I recommend that if you are in the market for a trusted partner, you should really consider Steve and Vintage Mortgage Professionals.

Switched from a pretty large Loan brokerage in order to work with Steve and his colleagues. He quoted better than all the other places I talked to, and ultimately locked in our rate lower than anticipated due to a thorough and detailed search/application. Steve responded to all my questions in an expedient manner and was more than able to bare with me and explain all the details of the loan process. We even closed earlier than expected - just as we wanted. He always made himself available, and pushed for communication through quite literally all members of the transaction from start to finish. Not once was he condescending, vague or mysterious in his actions or words. He knows his trade and streamlined the process which prevented delay and heartache on my end. He has more than earned my business and recommendation for many years to come! Great LO, super friendly and puts forth effort to ensure you are taken care of.
