Our story is long but worth reading. In October my mother in law was living in a assisted living community, we were told she was being place on hospice, we had to move her current bedroom set to make space for hospital bed.We contacted Ruff and ready to come and pick up the set and place it in their storage.They came out told us one price on the phone , their guys came late, then didn't have tools with them so they left for 2 hours to get a screw driver. Then they came back stood around talking. Then we received a call asking for another $400.00.We paid a monthly fee for storage. We scheduled a delivery date of January 5th, when we called to confirm they told us they didn't have that date they had the 10th.After waiting for them on the 10th they call and said they couldn't find the set. They said they would replace it.After a few days I sent a picture of a compatible set then they started saying the mattress had stains, the dresser was scratch both of which are very new. After I said I was going to do a police report they found our set. I'm a current cancer patient dealing with this. Now it's January 18th.My mother is 88 years old and is moving in with us and was waiting on the bed.We had to stay 2 nights in a hotel.I called the owner he never cared enough to return the call. So when they take your things there is no promise you will get it back and they are not going to pay you for it and there is no urgency. We paid every month for storage and they didn't know where the set was. I'm a retired Realtor and have never experienced such unprofessional movers. After all of that they still charge us more than $700 to go from one city to the next city over and had the nerve to ask for gratuity . They lied in the beginning by not telling us the set was missing. If they give you a price don't believe them it's going to be much more.Dont trust what they quot you and be carefulAfter continued emails they covered 1 hotel day but why not both it was 15 days waiting. Then they treated us like they did us a favor.Never heard from owner. Didn't care about senior citizens.

Love this company! I've used them twice now. Both times they went above and beyond. They didn't try to 'milk' time for more money. They were quick, careful, efficient and SUPER reasonable. The entire staff; the boss, the office, and certainly the movers themselves had wonderful personalities. More companies should work like this one.

The crew showed up on time, worked diligently, and showed great respect for our belongings and our wishes. ***** costs were communicated clearly and every effort was made to save money where we could. Our move was done in ********* one day with everything set up & put away before they left. We have already referred this company to future customers. Highly recommend!!

They moved us from our old home to our new one in *************. Things were handled, all our heavy furniture, unloaded, and placed everything where we wanted. So thankful for their help couldn't have moved without them! Highly recommended!

We had booked our move over the phone, the estimator had provided a written quote, we boxed our house, arranged sitters for our kids and took the day off work. The movers never arrived. The company tells us they didn’t have us on the schedule and can’t move us until the following week. Nightmare. Don’t use this company. There are much better moving companies in Temecula. Do your due diligence and shop around before enrolling for your own nightmare with ruff and ready.
