Horrible incompetent practice! They will overcharge you for everything. After I went to see Dr. Rahman to prescribe me a medication it turns out that the insurance didn't cover it and when I tried to contact her to write me a similar medication that would be covered she was on vacation and her PA refused to prescribe me anything because "she didn't feel comfortable" doing so. What a crock a BS! When I tried to message Dr. Rahman so that I could talk to her when she come back from vacation, the front staff told me that I needed to make another appointment for which I would be charged another $125 for 15 minutes of her time. I hope these incompetent greedy bastards get sued one day. After that, I just changed to Kaiser.

Had an X-ray on a Tuesday called the following Tuesday and was told it takes 7 business days for results 7 days no call Then I called Thursday and was told results are in doctor would call. No call Called Friday doctors not in today, they would call me Monday Monday noon no call. Called Monday, doctor will call you, and will let the office manager know what's going on. Monday night nothing. Called Tuesday afternoon (14 days from X-ray) was told doctor reviewed yesterday and she proceeded to give me results of x-ray i had done 6 months ago then gave me a BS story about Temecula Valley Imaging problems. Told me she would send a message to the office manager, told her that's not helpful and was done yesterday. Next time I will go to urgent care Last time I had blood work done (murrieta office) didn't get my results and called 30 days later to find out I had an infection. So basically had an infection for 30 days. They blamed the lab. Pay more get less

Terrible experience with their administration. I had a transfer of care from my reproductive endocrinologist, as I was confirmed pregnant and then needed to see an OBGYN to continue care. When I called to book the appointment, I informed them i was booking a prenatal appointment. Mind you, I had several blood tests and ultrasounds confirming a twin pregnancy. My pregnancy was well-established prior to coming in to this office. I also had my records faxed almost a week in advance. Rancho kept trying to charge me a co-pay, which was inaccurate because my insurance covers prenatal care 100%. When I confronted them about this, they referred me back to my insurance. I talked to my insurance who told me they coded it incorrectly as a regular office visit. When I went back to Rancho, they tried to punt me back to my insurance, which I put a stop to immediately, and let them know their coding was wrong. From start to finish, from when I booked the appointment to the care I received, this was prenatal care, and Rancho refuses to correct their fraudulent coding. I complained to the BBB and they ignored the complaint as well, which to me further illustrates their fraudulence. I frankly don't care if it was 35 cents. My insurance covers my prenatal care - that's why I have it. I don't need to be paying them when they've billed a prenatal appointment as a regular office visit. It clearly wasn't. The OB himself was nice, which is the only reason I'd give them a star. Thank goodness I have moved on to a different doctor, because their billing department does not code things appropriately. They also were difficult to work with in even getting the referral to a specialist. I had to call several times and go through their atrocious menu of prompts to get through to them, and their phones also dropped the call numerous times. Nightmare. Run far away.

You know the run around you get when trying to communicate with a staff of your doctor's office, especially since and during COVID? Not here! Rancho Family has MANY offices all over the area...one must be near you! My primary care is Dr. Wm. Vincent (a new father, btw). His staff is friendly and always helpful. They ANSWER THE PHONE and pull up your info, and are actually eager to help! I know, right? I even referred a close friend who is also a senior who was having a difficult time. As seniors, we are sometimes hard of hearing, our eyesight is not the best, and sometimes we get cranky. Dr. Vincent and his staff have always been helpful!

Several times have been hung up on after holding for 30-45 minutes. This last time, we heard the office staff laughing as the phone was picked up and set back down. The phone was on speaker so everyone in the room heard the laughter. NOT COOL Maybe the laughter wasn't intentional but it sure feels that way. FIX your phone system. Maybe send patients into voicemail or have a message stating you can't pick up the phone.

Decent doctors but the staff and the rules are ridiculous as well as the communication and call backs. Had to go three different times and get blood work twice because of lack of orders and lack of direction. I been coming here for 10 years but time to find a new place. When I asked them to take my blood pressure again when I was picking up my forms and no one was In The waiting room I was told I had to make an appointment. When I left my annual appointment t earlier this week I went to my car and forgot to ask a medication question and they told me I had to make another appt. They are taking the care out of health care. I used to go see dr I'm at the other office. Never had a problem. This place is a joke.

Had to wait for over an hour for the doctors appointment with Dr. Rahman that I showed up early for. When I asked when the doctor would be in after waiting for 45, I was informed that she was with a patient that was late for their appointment ahead of me. RFMC had a late policy posted in the exam room stating if a patient was more than 15 minutes late they would be charged for the appointment and rescheduled. Nice to know they don't follow their own policies and don't actually value the time of patients who care to show up early. Also, the walls of the exam rooms are VERY thin and I was able to hear the entire conversation of the appointment in the next room over. HIPAA and privacy is not a thing with complete strangers being able to hear the entire appointment. When the doctor finally came in after waiting over an hour, I brought up a few concerns to which I was told would be addressed at the next appointment in a month for a well womens exam which I have had less than a year ago before I moved to California. Had the doctor asked or even read it in my medical records that I sent a month a head of time, she would have realized. I have quite an extensive medical history, but the doctor only asked a few questions and did not ask more beyond the absolute bare minimum. The level of care was incredibly low and I would not recommend this office for anyone.I will admit I had quite an attitude, I was hangry from fasting because I assumed they'd want labs drawn, but I really think it was warranted. After the doctor was in for all of 7 minutes, the nurse came in with followup paperwork and orders. At this time I asked to speak with a manager and Dr. Rahman's manager came in to address my concerns. She just repeated that sometimes prior patients have allotted times and sometimes patients bring up concerns that take longer. I also brought up concerns about HIPAA and she said that because the patients name wasn't mentioned, it wasn't breaking HIPAA. Well, I don't think Nancy with the nausea would quite agree.Needless to say, I will not be continuing care with a doctor and office who care this little.

I made an appointment with them a week ago and drove an hour and a half yesterday to what I learned was a nonexistent appointment. Not only that I wasted 20 minutes wandering the campus, getting bounced around from office to office because the signs didn't make sense and the halls felt like a fricken maze. I finally got to the office I thought I had an appointment with to learn I wasn't in their system anywhere. I was so upset and didn't know what else to do so I made a new appointment. The next available time? December, at a different office, in a different city. She advised me not to arrive late to the next one or I wouldn't be seen. I left frustrated to tears. Apparently I'm expected to respect their time but my time and resources don't mean anything. I'm not returning. I'll find another doctor and cancel that new appointment, they are not worth the frustration.

Not great. Not great at all. Forget patient care; the only concern here is how much money they can get from you. Example: I recently scheduled my annual checkup with pap, and during my visit the doctor asked about my last mammogram, to which I replied I was overdue. I received a referral. Because of this referral, I was charged for a regular office visit instead of the checkup (which would have been covered at 100%). Needless to say, $215 later I know now to go in and not say a word, as well as reject all referrals if I were to stay with this group.

Office is always clean and neat.My children and I have been going here for the past 2 years. (High peak of the pandemic) Even through this worrisome time, when I call to make an appt they are able to see my family and I. Jenna works the front desk and is as sweet as they come. Heidi the nurse assistant is absolutely amazing. Shots with children are the worst and She always makes my kids smile laugh and there is never any pain. Jeanine Thornton is amazing she always listens and even jokes along with me when I try to trick my teenagers and we always end up leaving an appt laughing with smiles. how many people can say that.. I really

Notice to the public: it is my opinion that rancho family medical group Makena office It's one of the worst healthcare providers in Temecula. After 16 years of being with RFMG I had to pick my entire family of 7 up and leave the practice because of what I believe was substandard care being given by Dr Rahman and her staff. I could go into detail but I would rather just say I have some very big concerns about her and the way she conducts medical practice. Her office manager"Martin" It's one of the most rude and incompetent people you will ever have the displeasure of dealing with.

I don't see a Primary Care doctor often, as my medical issues are currently working with specialists. I had my asthma prescription expire and the office required me to make an appointment; For an inhaler refill; When I was struggling to breathe. The earliest appointment they had was a week out. Clearly the priorities here are not on the patient when they have my history or asthma and this office has prescribed my inhaler previously. I was not a new patient and this was not a new diagnosis. After waiting a week for the VIRTUAL appointment, I got a call 30 mins prior that I needed to pay my coinsurance up front. I have a high deductible plan which does not have a copay and where I am typically billed for services after the fact. Every other doctor I have seen bills me for services so that I can work it into my budget. It may not seem like a high amount to them, but it was to me and they refused to allow me to keep my appointment or refill my inhaler without paying up front. I am current on my medical bills without delinquency, so this is not a matter of being unreliable or deviant. I just need to be able to breathe. This office puts money above patient care so proceed at your own risk. I now have to find another primary care doctor that takes medical care more seriously.

Came here for an appointment to establish care and discuss tendinitis after a very bad experience with a previous doctor (that's another story all together). Let's go step by step. 1. Called for an appointment. They have a central appointment center. Karen answered and was amazing. She offered closer options but understood that I wanted a specific doctor after my bad experience. She worked with my weird work schedule, reassured me that I was getting a great doctor (she was right), sent me text reminders and a new patient packet in the mail so I was prepared upon arrival! 2. Easy to find: Well marked signs and buildings. It was super easy to find my way to the correct office. 3. Reception: Jenna at reception was warm and inviting. Immediately made me feel welcome, which was super important given previous experiences. She got through my paperwork quickly and efficiently- and gave clear instructions on next steps. 4. Vitals: My nurse for this visit, Cynthia, was super sweet. She understood my anxieties and helped make me feel more at ease. Despite constant comments about this at other practices, not a peep from her about my weight. I appreciated this immensely! 5. Doctor: Dr. Uttaburanont was very thorough. She actually read over my chart, reviewed my blood work and listened to my explanations. She adjusted my medications which my former primary failed to do when my blood work came back abnormal. She also referred me to a specialist for the pain I had been experiencing for several weeks. She *listened* when I explained my symptoms even though they weren't visually present at the time of the appointment. I drove 45 minutes to get here, and I will do it again and again to see this doctor. tl;dr: Smooth appointment scheduling. Easy to find. Great staff. Dr Uttaburanont is thorough, listens, and explains. Nobody lectured me about my weight.
