I needed my first adult physical and truly needed a doctor to talk to about my body and concerns I had overall. Unfortunately, Amber Holden saw me in about 7 minutes and tried rushing as fast as possible to move on to next patient. She really didn’t care about me as a patient at all or take the time to talk to me about my health. Extremely disappointing and I just wanted a doctor that cared. I don’t recommend Amber Holden.

I really don’t want to leave such a poor review for anyone BUT this is a medical office, not some random restaurant that burned my food once, hence I will share my experience for the greater good…. In the hopes I’ll save someone else from the grief I experienced during a rough time in my life! For routine care this office appears sufficient - Fast appointments, friendly staff. However, my medical issues were a bit more complicated and it turned into a major cluster! After only an ultrasound (no other tests) I was referred to a surgeon. My referral was written out by a different doctor, not mine (?) The address and phone number for the surgeon were wrong. It took me an entire day to track this surgeon down just to be told he needs more information from my primary. I call, I message. I go to my primary’s office. I tell my primary’s staff about the conversation I had with the surgeon - They continue to send the wrong information to him. I rinse & repeat this process 4x. My last message to my primary was ignored for 13 days. Her response after 13 days: As we told you, book an appointment with the surgeon - I want to (promise) but he NEEDS more information…from MY CARE TEAM, specifically my primary!!! And no, I don’t know what he needs because I didn’t go to med school! Talk to each other instead of involving me in this monthlong nonsense.Moving on: I switched medical groups after the run around I received here (still don’t have an appointment with the surgeon) and it turns out I should have had all these tests done in order to confirm my initial diagnosis and THEN go see a surgeon. Grateful the surgeon had enough sense to question her referral and not just sharpen his knives and book me his first available! So, basically there was no diagnosing or testing done by my primary. I felt I was being pawned off to become someone else’s problem. Nothing was explained - I was simply told I needed surgery after an ultrasound (even though it was recommended to follow up with an MRI to confirm diagnosis right on the paperwork!!) She was visibly annoyed I dared to ask for more information and then apparently was unable to comprehend (care?) the surgeon refused to make an appointment with me because she dropped the ball!Oh, and the super fun part was leaving me on multiple (emergency) prescriptions I was put on while out of the country/ first diagnosed. The hospital’s paperwork specifically stated to follow up with my primary as the dosages were only up until further testing to determine cause….And, the 2 pills the US doesn’t make were just eliminated out of my repertoire - hoping for the best ? I was told there is a nurse on call 24/7 should I experience any issues. Absolutely insane, what if those 2 pills were actually keeping me alive?!Therefore, I cannot recommend this facility with a clear conscience to anyone. Please go somewhere else if you have anything more than a cold or earache.

Currently looking into completely changing my PCP from Rancho to some other institution because they truly could care less. I am currently 9 weeks pregnant and requested a referral to and OBGYN. Of course Rancho family pushesTemecula valley obgyn down your throat because they are one big business. Well from the time of my appt where we confirmed I was pregnant to now they had to submit the referral four times because they could not fill it out right. Then when you call to express your concern and frustration the appointment coordinators want to have an attitude with you. My first prenatal appointment is scheduled to take place at 16 weeks despite the fact that I am someone with chronic health issues. When I voiced my concern regarding that the appointment coordinator tried to argue with me and say “so what we have no control over how long you’ll have to wait”. To which I responded well I don’t feel it’s safe so I am requesting that I am referred to an OBGYN that can actually see me in a timely manner. It’s almost as if they forget we can’t talk directly to the provider majority of the time. We are forced to jump through hoops and speak to different members medical assistants and other members of their care team to get any service at all. It’s disgusting and atrocious that you have to beg for healthcare you’re paying for. DISGUSTING.

Absolutely ridiculous this place is! Received a referral for a rheumatologist because of findings in blood work and pain getting worse tried to get an appointment with the referral, after calling multiple times paperwork was never faxed over, they asked me for the fax number of an office they referred me to, called to get the fax number, provided it to them. Called back multiple times and stated that the fax was never received, come to find out after calling for a week they have been faxing my personal information to the wrong number because somebody took the number wrong both on an email and over the phone. A week later paperwork is finally faxed over to the correct location and now takes 3-5 days to process a fax until they can provide an appointment. Will be looking for another primary care provider as of now.

My wife and I are extremely grateful for the First-Rate care provided by Dr. Matthew Combs at RFMG. Dr. Combs is an extremely knowledgeable, superbly skilled doctor...who genuinely cares about his patients' well being. He listens attentively and communicates with warmth and clarity. His thorough, personalized approach to medical care inspires so much confidence in the advice and treatment options he provides.Dr. Combs' entire team is absolutely wonderful. So professional, so caring. We sincerely appreciate working with Kiah, and her warm, helpful welcomes to each visit. We always look forward to seeing her.Choosing the right doctor can be a very complex - - and potentially overwhelming - - process. We're delighted to have found Dr. Combs and hope that this review is helpful to those who are seeking a truly outstanding Primacy Care Physician.

My husband has been dealing with Rancho Family Medical Group for over a year. He is new to the VA services since it has been a while since his active service duty. We were sent to Rancho Family Medical Group as being one of the facilities close to us. It has been a nightmare and continues to be a nightmare as far as scheduling. After he had been with them a year he scheduled for his annual visit. They scheduled the appointment and verified the appointment. On the day of the appointment, he shows up just to be told that his insurance was not renewed and that he needed to call Tri West to get it resolved. Well, I called Tri West and Community Care. I was told that it was the doctor's responsibility to send in the paperwork for the recertification. They made it seem like it was our fault when it was their mistake. We get the recertification, wouldn't you Rancho Family Medical Group called my husband for an appointment. They called several times to verify the appointment and he got the automated phone call which again he verified the appointment. We arrive at the clinic to be told that they left a message that morning stating he was not covered by Tri West. My husband gave them the certification letter, at which point we were told his certification ran out in February and the certification we have was for June and it would need to be for February in order for them to accept it. Why would it need to be for February when you did not see him in February, March, April, May, June, or July, I’m confused. He was attempting to be seen in August. The young lady we talking to then called someone and that person told her that since the certification had another clinic name on it they could not see us. Needless to say, we were upset. They were the ones that called us, they verified the appointment. Now it stands to reason that you wasted this man’s time the first time around with the same mess. The office staff did not do their job then and not waste his time, then did the exact same thing again. The unprofessionalism is real in this scenario. My husband wanted to stay with the clinic for continuity but is forced to go somewhere else due to the organization itself. I do not play when it comes to my husband’s health this is very serious to me. My husband is a cancer survivor and he has a heart condition. I cannot have a facility that cares so little for his health that they do not do the paperwork for the recertification and then schedule appointments, verify said appointment then do their job minutes before the appointment to verify insurance. Excuse me that is something that should have been done before the appointment was made. I need an organization that cares about my husband and his medical conditions. How can I trust an organization that wait till the last minute to check something as important as his insurance. I cannot abide by last minute checks because it could cost him his life and that is not an option for me.

10 ⭐ For Amber Holden and the kind staff at this office. From the young lady at the desk who checked me in, the young ladies who took info, the EKG girls to Ambers assistant I received the best care here. This was my first visit here after relocating from Seattle and I am so happy to have found this health group. Thank you ladies for your kind and very educated visit. Special thank you to Amber.

This place is really terrible my mother has liver damage and all this practice does is send her refer elsewhere to get test done which is a nightmare and just get more referrals to other pratices. This place cares only about money as sees people as a commodity rather than patients ots no wonder the United states ranks the worst in healthcare.Pathetic to think these doctors and nurse praticioners get paid thousands of dollars to not even treat their patients and just prescribe medicine and refer them elsewhere what a corrupt place tome is of essence and these places only care about money so avoid this place like the plague because they are incompetent and if you even owe 25.00 they won't see you.

Asked for prescription refills , they said I had do lab-blood work first. For allergy meds, blood pressure meds, And anti-inflammatory meds for arthritis. That’s it , none of which can be detected through blood analysis.Let’s waste $1,400.00 of tax payer dollars for nothing.

I am writing this review to speak on Deborah Layton, NP and no other physician or department that is associated with this office. After many years of going to a different provider at this location and receiving inadequate care, I decided to make an appointment with Deborah Layton and I have never made an appointment with anyone else since! She takes her time with you and does not make your appointment feel rushed. She is thorough in finding what you need and will go through lengths that other providers just won't do. She is caring, quick to respond through the patient portal, and helps you understand what is needed to improve your health without degrading you or making you feel like you aren't making an effort. She, also, appears to have more availability than other providers or physicians and that makes it easier, if you have a busy schedule. Take the time with new patient paperwork, set up your account in the patient portal, and only make an appointment with Deborah. She is incredible and you won't regret it!

Would give them negative stars if possible. 1. Good luck getting an appointment. 2. They only want to see you virtually. Once you waste your time with that, they want to charge you again to come in for testing.3. They don't listen. They process you as quickly as possible to make money and get to next patient.4. There's no privacy. They always bring an intern, which is another way for them to make money. 5. They have misdiagnosed me, personally, 4 of last 5 times. 6. Save your money and go to CVS minute clinic. Better doctors, better service, better availability. STAY AWAY FROM THIS CLINIC!!!!!!!

I selected Dr. Pamela Simmons as my PCP after meeting her on a casual level at a local dog park. She appeared to be a caring individual and when I turned 65 and was entitled to Medicare, I signed up with Humana. When they presented me with the network options, I thought, "oh I would ask if Dr. Simmons was a participating Netwerk member". I found she was, and decided to go with my gut and select her us as my primary care physician. Fast forward, and as recently, as December 12, 2022, I called for a renewal of my sleeping medication which I've been taking for well over two decades. I suffer from insomnia and was prescribed medication by my primary care physician in New York a trusted provider. Dr. Simmons has consistently written the medication for one month, requiring me to call her and request a refill. The week of December 12th I contacted the Walmart pharmacy asking for them to obtain a refill once again. Monday, no response, Wednesday, no response, and Friday no response. At this point, I was going through significant withdrawals from the medication, causing me tremendous anxiety and many sleepless nights as well as headaches and feeling like I was crawling out of my skin. I finally reached an on-call physician, who told me he would check my medical record the following morning, which was Saturday. He called me promptly Saturday morning and requested the pharmacy to fill a Bridge prescription. Dr. Simmons returned to the office the following week. I explained to her MA that I was traveling out of the country and needed the prescription refilled so I would not run out while traveling for two weeks. She complied, never mentioning that Dr.Simmons was clearly out of line and allowing me to suffer a withdrawal from the medication.Fast forward again. It's now 45 days later and believing that she had requested a renewal as part of my prescription being refilled the prior month I contacted Walmart for a refill. That was on Friday after 5 o'clock and was informed there was no refills. Friday passed and I moved it to Sunday Experiencing tremendous anxiety as well as sleepless nights. I contacted the pharmacy and they said no one had responded from the practice. I struggled through Sunday and called early Monday morning. The recording said I was first in the queue and I waited on the phone for a half an hour before somebody picked up. She informed me while talking to her that her system had gone down and they had lost the Internet. I told her I had no quarrel with her, but she needed to go and reach out to one of the PAs in the office. At this point, she informed me despite pushing the button for Dr. Simmons's office that she was in Hemet. I asked if she could call the Temecula office and she said that was not protocol. She did, however manage to type a note to Dr. Simmons prior to the system going down. At this point I've been on the phone for close to an hour. When she finally got her system back up and rebooted her computer much to my surprise, Dr. Simmons had renewed my prescription. I don't understand how in two consecutive months I needed to go through withdrawals for a medication that I've been taking for decades. Questioning why the refill has not been provided I reached out to Walmart pharmacy. They informed me that she could write up to 90 days of the medication and eliminate all of the headaches that I have been experiencing. However, once again, she's written a prescription for 30 days which will require me contacting the office again, depending on who picks up and what office it is. Oh, and I didn't mention that they've just put in a new phone system which tells you which buttons to push to reach the office, but can be answered by any office in the entire Network, which is why Hemet answered the call on Monday. I have a pending annual wellness visit scheduled for the 17th. I fully intend on, addressing the poor customer service and seriously considering firing my PCP once the visit is completed. After reading all the yelp reviews, it appears, I am clearly n
